Sexist-racist Ralph Garman fired by KROQ

Seth Auberon, Pat Macpherson, Ashley Wells, Pfc. Sandoval, Wisdom Quarterly; Daily News

Ralph Garman (Hollywood Babble On)
It was surprising when Alt98 FM reported that rival co-host Ralph Garman over at competitor KROQ FM was out, they weren't celebrating because, they say, there's no competition between them and their main competitor, the "Kevin & Bean Show," where Garman has worked for nearly the last two decades alongside celebrities. They didn't say what Garman did to get fired.

TX Barton's Republican sex scandal: retires
Ex-comedy sidekick Garman was once comedian Adam Corolla's roommate in the Valley but rose to prominence on the K&B Show. Corolla, a good friend of Jewish right wing extremist broadcaster Dennis Praeger, became a right wing radio broadcaster taking over for Howard Stern when Stern switched from terrestrial to Sirius radio.

Fired just before the big annual Xmas show
He and Jimmy Kimmel, co-creators of "The Man Show" and "Crank Yankers," also a K&B Show discovery who went on to the greatest success at ABC with his late night "Jimmy Kimmel Show." Kimmel -- who once dated the great Sarah Silverman but married another woman -- is every bit as racist, sexist, and right wing as Corolla and Garman, but he works it well as has recently become a mainstream media "leftist" because he opposes guns and champions healthcare for the needy, like his newest special needs child.
Sen. Al Franken in deeper trouble: new charges
They are all L.A. friends, all cut from the same cloth, all white male racist, sexist, quiet supremacist types -- not actual members of Nazi organizations but likely taking quiet satisfaction in helping maintain the status quo.

Garman is by far the brightest with a prodigious memory for nerd trivia and an aptitude for voices.

Pelosi's daughter: CA pols enable harassment.
So much so that he works for younger, richer genius Seth Macfarlane on "Family Guy," "American Dad," and "The Oroville." And he is the lesser alongside Hollywood director Kevin Smith on their lame pot/alcohol-fueled stand up rant called "Hollywood Babble On," which has failed to gain the traction of a Kimmel or Corolla, or even a sidekick slot as significant as Garman friend Mike Catherwood, who daily rides the coat tails of Dr. Drew Pinsky over on the AM dial at KABC Talk Radio (weekdays 12:00-3:00 PM).

Late-Night comedy hosts lay into hypocrite Matt Lauer

Mike Catherwood is extra careful at KABC
What has Garman done that was so bad or so different from his daily racist and sexist comments? One can only imagine that to avoid a scandal he was given the opportunity to step down and resign as he's being fired. He repeatedly came on today crying his goodbyes, protesting too much that it was not due to sexual harassment or rape allegations. He did not say it was nothing to do with sexism or racism. He may have yet again crossed the line on these fronts.
Geraldo Rivera attacked Bette Midler
And Entercom, the new corporate owner of KROQ radio, may just want to save money on lawsuits, pay people off, and preserve its flagship K&B Show, that two years ago unceremoniously fired aging co-hostess Lisa May, the news and traffic gal that was incorporated into the show and made the victim of countless incidents of sexism, which she lamented never filing suit over thinking she was preserving her job as K&B's only female sidekick. Her FM career was saved by the rival KLOS (95.5) "Frosty, Heidi & Frank Show," where she does traffic, news, weather, and occasional commentary weekday mornings while being ignored by Kevin and Bean and the younger replacement Ally McKay. More to come when we get further revelations.
I'm fired. Entercom doesn't want me. Bye.
  • (Daily News) In February 2015, Lisa May, who did traffic and weather for the morning show and was part of the show’s banter, was also let go [while Kevin and Bean heartlessly looked the other way and neither told her nor apologized for how it was done]. May had been with the show almost since its inception back in 1990. KROQ is licensed out of Pasadena. It was owned by CBS Radio but the broadcast company recently merged with Entercom. More

Artifacts: King Tut's tomb coming to L.A.

One of Egypt's famed King Tutankhamun's golden sarcophagi is displayed at his tomb in a glass case in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, Egypt, April 1, 2016. Artifacts from King Tut's tomb will be on display at the California Science Center in LA for 10 months (Amr Nabil/AP).
.
Artifacts from King Tut's tomb are going on tour next year to mark the upcoming 100th anniversary of the discovery of the Egyptian pharaoh's resting place.

The California Science Center says the exhibit, "KING TUT: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh," will be on view at the Los Angeles museum for 10 months before heading to Europe in January 2019 as part of a 10-city international tour.

In this Thursday Nov. 5, 2015 file photo, tourists look at the tomb of King Tut as it is displayed in a glass case at the Valley of the Kings in Luxor (Amr Nabil/AP).

Dr. Diane Perlov, Deputy Director for Exhibits at the California Science Center, told KPCC the exhibit will be "more of an immersive-type experience" as each artifact is paired with multimedia to tell the story of Tutankhamun's afterlife.

The museum says the exhibition represents the largest collection of artifacts and gold from Tutankhamun's tomb ever to go on public display outside of Egypt. It says 40 percent of the items are leaving Egypt for the first and last time before going on permanent display at a new museum being built near the Giza Pyramids in Egypt.

Secrets inside the Sphinx:
Proof of Internal Chambers
Ancient Architects, Sept. 25, 2017; Dhr. Seven, Pat Macpherson, Wisdom Quarterly

Proof! There are shafts and chambers inside the great Sphinx of Giza near Cairo ("Mars"), Egypt, accessible via an opening at the top of the Sphinx's head.

This video presents evidence from a Harvard University professor of archaeology who describes the interior of the Sphinx's chambers, including the tomb of the first Pharaoh Menes. Could this also be the location of the legendary Hall of Records spoken of by America's "Sleeping Prophet" Edgar Cayce? (Images were taken from Google Images for educational purposes only).

The Buddha said females have all it takes to reach enlightenment (buddhism.about.com)

In Search of Buddha's Daughters: A Modern Journey Down Ancient Roads
An award-winning journalist vividly reports her two-year and 60,000-mile global odyssey in the company of exceptional women who choose to dedicate their lives to Buddhism.

Christine Toomey met an unforgettable group of Tibetan Buddhist nuns in 2011. After hearing their stories — of prison [under the invading Chinese], extreme hardship, and ultimately fleeing across the Himalayas into exile [in Inda] — she resolved to learn more about the private, courageous women of Buddhism:

Sacred feminine power: Kwan Yin
Who they are, their experience of suffering, what motivates them to seek enlightenment, and what stands in their way. Toomey’s quest took on even greater urgency with the sudden deaths of her father and then her mother, and her own search for healing wisdom in the aftermath of loss.

In Search of Buddha’s Daughters introduces us to women from around the world — Nepal, India, Burma, and Japan, as well as the US, UK, and France — who have come to the ordained Buddhist life from every faith and career:
  • a former policewoman,
  • a princess,
  • a Bollywood star, and
  • a concert violinist.
Toomey meets a Harvard graduate who sometimes breaks into hip-hop moves after meditating, a Japanese nun who has written bestselling erotica, and a Nepalese order of nuns who practice kung fu for spiritual and physical empowerment.

Tadolf Swiftler, the fake face of female power
By insightful conversations with over 30 women, Toomey investigates Buddhism as an antidote to the problems of life in the 21st century.

And she considers the status of women today — worldwide, and within one of our oldest wisdom traditions.

“In a world numbed by the amount of attention paid to violence, terrorism, and political and religious power struggles,” she writes, “I find it profoundly refreshing to come across women whose lives are dedicated to nurturing the opposite.” More

Secret Chamber Behind Sphinx's Ear?
Mystery History/Facebook, Nov. 26, 2017

A Russian indigo child, Boriska (video below), we previously reported on has disappeared or been effectively silenced for his claims of recalling a past life as a space pilot who saw the destruction of his planet, Mars, in a nuclear catastrophe that destroyed the red planet's atmosphere. The same could happen to Earth, except that there is a time capsule hidden in Egypt's Spinx, in a chamber that will be opened by a special mechanism behind the Sphinx's ear. However, not if Enemy of the People Zahi Hawass, deposed autocrat head of Egyptian antiquities.

San Francisco's love of neighborhood and pot

.
SF supervisors approved regulations for the sale of recreational marijuana following weeks of emotional debate over where to allow new stores. Rules approved by the Board of Supervisors today call for a 600-foot buffer zone from schools and tobacco and alcohol stores.

San Francisco officials adopted recreational marijuana rules [in addition to medical cannabis] favored by pot advocates, but not without heated discussions over local control in a tightly packed city where neighborhoods differ wildly in politics and character.

The move could allow sales to start the first week of January, just after recreational pot becomes legal across California. But it had been surprisingly difficult for the pot-friendly city to adopt local rules required for growers and retailers to get a state permit to sell the drug.

San Francisco embraces its marijuana culture, celebrating the annual 4/20 holiday with a group smoke-out on Hippie Hill in Golden Gate Park, near the head shops of Haight-Ashbury district. Scoring a medical marijuana card to buy pot is cheap and easy. More

Is Matt Lauer a rapist? Cell phones spy; racism

Is this mainstream media mouthpiece a rapist? “Matt Lauer fired by NBC News over allegation of 'inappropriate sexual behavior'” It would be easier to believe that sexist Lauer raped an underling than to think that Bill Cosby did, and we all pretty much know Cosby did (allegedly).

My phone is spying on me: here's how

As we walk around carrying our own prisoner ankle bracelets in our hands, staring at a screen, telling it all we know and think, cell towers are tracking our every move, even when it's "off." (A "cell" is  an electronic/wifi square on a grid, and the phone pins to report in, transferring data on us behind our back. "Oh, don't worry" says Big Brother and his media apologists. "It's all innocent. We would never spy on you").

Unless the battery is physically removed, taken completely out, and many phones no longer have that option, our every move is being traced and a file is being kept by third party servers the government/police has easy access to, no warrant or subpoena or probable cause necessary. It's all part of the slippery slope. Next, even these non-barriers will be taken down, giving police direct access to the records.

Bella Hadid,Better to keep them in the hands of the phone companies, that way no one says "Big Brother" has them, because they are freely shared with police, collected for police (and business), and done for the sake of creating a turnkey police state, a dystopian authoritarian world as described in Huxley's Brave New World more than Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four.
