A day in the life of a Buddhist monk (video)

Johnathan Green, TrueTube, May 26, 2020; Dhr. Seven, Amber Larson (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
The life of a wandering ascetic (Buddhist monk) includes going on alms round, England.

Say hello to Venerable Manapo. He’s a Buddhist monk or bhikkhu in Warwickshire, England. TrueTube's cameras followed him around to find out what he does all day. What does any Buddhist nun or monk do all day?

The Forest Hermitage, Warwickshire, UK
What's the point of doing it? This wandering ascetic is on a spiritual mission, the same one Siddhartha was on, a quest for enlightenment, awakening from all the painful illusions of life, the marriage of compassion and wisdom, escaping to reality. This is a short film by Jonathan Green.

The White man wiped out the New World with his European diseases like smallpox, greed, and war and domination mentality, developed it would seem from centuries of fighting each other all over Europe.

America Before: Key to Earth's Lost Civilization
Smallpox seems to have killed an estimated former population of 20 million people in the Amazon basin, a massive garden fed by the use of terra preta ("dark earth"), a uniquely rich biochar soil containing a unique mix of microbes not found in adjacent soils. The basin is an area the size of India or 5.5 million square kilometers.

It is full of henges (like Stonehenge), sophisticated manmade earthworks, deep ditches with embankments and sometimes stone pillars, used by astronomers. There are thousands of them in the Amazon. LIDAR (light imaging and detecting radar).

The Maya, Aztec, Toltec, and other civilizations were unimaginably grand and sophisticated. Taken from Joe Rogan Experience #1293 w/Andrew Santino and #1284 w/Graham Hancock.

With its onboard sophisticated sensors, it can make its own real-time decisions—all while flying 60 feet in the air. It knows when to tuck its knees to perform a somersault, when to pull its arms to twist, and even when to slow down its spin to make sure it makes a perfect landing.

      9. Handle
Handle is another robot from Boston Dynamics. With its deep-learning vision software, this robot can identify and locate boxes, unloads trucks, palletizes, and depalletizes at the push of a button. Its mobility enables it to operate in multiple work-cells, moving through facilities along with the flow of goods. It can pick up to 360 boxes/hr.

      NPR: Psychedelic Plant Medicine (audio)

Terry Gross, Fresh Air (NPR); Pat Macpherson, Ananda, Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
Good Chemistry (Dr. Julie Holland, MD)
Dr. Julie Holland, author of the new book Good Chemistry, says that when antidepressants don't work, psychedelic plant medicines (entheogens) can be used in conjunction with talk therapy to help work through traumas.

People treated with synthetic chemical antidepressants for years are never cured. These profitable pharmaceuticals are not "cures" and make no such promise. After years some patients hit a wall, a point when such treatment no longer even eases symptoms.

Dr. Holland, a psychiatrist, says that's where entheogenic substances -- often called "psychedelic drugs" as if they were recreational highs -- could help.

Dr. Holland was in charge of the psychiatric emergency room at Bellevue Hospital on weekends from 1996 to 2005. She currently has a private psychotherapy practice in Manhattan, NY.

She's also a medical monitor in research by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS, maps.org), which involves, in part, developing psychedelics into prescription medications.
      .
      I prefer good meditation.
Her new book, Good Chemistry, explores how she thinks psychedelic drugs, including LSD (acid), psilocybin (magic mushrooms), MDMA (ecstasy) and cannabis (high CBD marijuana), might be used more widely in psychiatry to make treatment more efficient and effective.

"There are certain plant medicines in particular — things like psilocybin or ayahuasca — that really help people not only explore their personal trauma," she says, but also "this feeling of unity and connection. People really come away from these experiences having a new perspective."

Some Buddhists see value in entheogen use.
Dr. Holland acknowledges that the use of psychedelic drugs (entheogens) in psychiatry is controversial — but she says the practice is slowly gaining acceptance.

"Good psychotherapy takes years and there are a lot of fits and starts," she says, "and people run away when things get too heavy. But it's changing more and more.... The data is so compelling that in my opinion, people in my profession have no excuse for not knowing what's going on." More

The House of Wisdom: Arabic Enlightenment

Jim al-Khalili, The House of Wisdom; Bettany Hughes (The Moors...); Editors, Wisdom Quarterly
Enlightenment is far better than ignorance...even if it upsets our worldviews and comfort. Here British historian Bettany Hughes stands in front of the Bodhi tree in Enlightenment Grove (Bodh Gaya, India), where Siddhartha became the Buddha or "Awakened One."
When the Moors Ruled in Europe (Part 1/11) with British historian Bettany Hughes - the shocking truth.

Arabic Science Gave us the Renaissance
This is a myth-shattering view of the Islamic world's myriad scientific innovations and the role they played in sparking the European Renaissance.
      • [The "Dark" Ages, according to British historian Bettany Hughes, are said to have been when for seven centuries black Muslim Moors ruled Europe.]
Many of the innovations we think of as hallmarks of Western science actually had their roots in the Arab world of the Middle Ages, a period when much of Western Christendom stagnated in intellectual darkness.

      Author: British physicist Jim al-Khalili
Author Jim al-Khalili, a leading British-Iraqi physicist, resurrects this lost chapter of history in The House of Wisdom: How Arabic Science Saved Ancient Knowledge and Gave Us the Renaissance.

Given current East-West tensions, his book could hardly be more timely.

With transporting detail, al-Khalili places readers in the hothouses of the Arabic Enlightenment, shows how they led to Europe's cultural awakening, and poses the question:

Why did the Islamic world enter its own Dark Age after such a dazzling flowering? More

      Blacks ruled Europe?
Seven centuries of hidden European/African history
Join British historian Bettany Hughes as she examines a purposely-buried, hidden, and forgotten chapter of European history -- the risemof Islamic culture in what is now Spain and Portugal (bordering Northern Africa).

Although generations of Spanish rulers have tried to expunge this era from the historical record, recent archeology and scholarship have shed fresh light on the black Moors who flourished in Al-Andalus for more than 700 years.

The fascinating documentary WHEN THE MOORS RULED IN EUROPE explodes racist stereotypes and offers shocking new insights.

      Black lives used to matter
Discover the ingenious mathematics behind Granada's dazzling Alhambra Palace, trace El Cid's lineage to his black Moorish roots in Africa, and learn how the population of the Iberian peninsula in white Europe willingly converted to liberal Islam in droves.

Through interviews with noted scholars, see how Moorish advances in mathematics, science, astronomy, art, and agriculture helped propel the West out of its Dark Ages and into its Renaissance ("Rebirth").

What emerges is a richly detailed portrait of a sensuous, inquisitive, and remarkably progressive black African Islamic culture dominating Christian Europe.

[The Moors (the definition of these people is constantly changed to make them less African, less black, and less brilliant, and less Muslim/Islamic) were royalty beyond the peninsula. They ruled throughout Europe, as many artifacts and revealed histories show.]

Let's talk corona money, real looting (video)

Chris Hedges, Dylan Ratigan, Jimmy Dore; Pfc. Sandoval, Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
When it comes to protests, the CIA and police state like some and not others. The corporate media is very much for anti-China demonstrations in Hong Kong and even U.S. intervention to fight China by proxy saying it is for humanitarian purposes. As a result we are attacked online and tracked by Chinese cyber agents mad at the U.S. government and its disaster capitalist policies.
There was massive looting during the anti-police brutality and Black Lives Matter demonstrations, but not from the looters the police ignored as they attacked peaceful demonstrators. It came from the government handing out trillions to private corporate entities. And nobody much noticed.

Dylan Ratigan foresees a grim future for America post-corporate bail out.

      Psychiatrist becomes Psychedelic Researcher

Dr. Julie Holland, MD; Pat Macpherson, Ananda (DBM), Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

What the H is wrong with me! What's the cure?
A psychiatrist becomes a psychedelic researcher to explore the science of "connection" — why we need it, how we’ve lost it, and how we might find it again.

We are suffering from an epidemic of disconnection that antidepressants (Zoloft, Prozac, Wellbutrin, SSRIs, and other allopathic toxins) and social media can’t fix.

      Good Chemistry (Dr. Holland)
This state of isolation puts us in “fight or flight, freeze or faint mode,” deranging sleep, metabolism, and libido.

What’s worse, we’re paranoid of others! This kill-or-be-killed mentality is no way to live. But when we feel safe and loved, we can rest, digest, and repair. We can heal.

And it is only in this state of feeling like we belong that we can open up to connection with others.

If I were a tabby cat on a tab of catnip.
In this powerful book Dr. Julie Holland M.D. helps us understand the science of connection as revealed in human experiences from the spiritual to the psychedelic, from the mental to the entheogenic.

      The Pot Book: Complete Guide
The key is oxytocin — a neurotransmitter and hormone produced in our bodies that allows us to trust and bond. It fosters attachment between romantic partners, friends, mothers and infants, and even with our pets and strangers at a Coachella or Lollapalooza, Grateful Dead or Phish show.
      Moody Bitches (Dr. Holland)
There are many ways to reach this state of mental and physical wellbeing that modern medicine has overlooked. The implications for our happiness and health are profound.

We can find oneness in meditation, in community, or in awe at the beauty around us. Another option: psychedelic medicines that can catalyze a connection with "self," with nature, or with the cosmos.

Author psychiatrist Dr. Julie Holland, M.D.
Her book Good Chemistry: The Science of Connection, from Soul to Psychedelics points us on the right path to forging true and deeper attachments with our own "souls" (psyches, minds, spirits, astral bodies), to one another -- and even to our planet.

This will help us heal ourselves and our world... if the government doesn't ban it again in the interest of Big Pharma's profit motive in selling lifelong "treatments" instead of actual natural (non-synthetic) "cures." More

How cops, paramedic killed Elijah McClain

      .
Colorado police officers involved in death of Elijah McClain taken off the streets
The deadly police confrontation with a young Black man in the Denver suburb of Aurora is getting renewed scrutiny.
But he was black in Colorado. That's what we do.
Three killer cops in Colorado involved in the killing of a 23-year-old Black man with impunity last year have suddenly been moved to "non-enforcement" duties due to the heat created by the George Floyd protests.

Mr. Elijah McClain's arrest and homicide by police and paramedics has suddenly merited renewed scrutiny, officials said Friday [6/26/20].

The Aurora Police Department said the action was "done in an effort to protect those officers" who arrested McClain on Aug. 24, 2019 then used so much force and poor judgment that they ended up with his death on their hands.

"They are now [comfortably] working in a non-enforcement capacity," Detective Faith Goodrich said. "This can be in a variety of different assignments but is usually administrative in nature." [It's like a vacation with the same pay and privileges and perks.]
        The murderers (paramedic not shown)
Officers wrapped up in the homicide of Mr. McClain -- Nathan Woodyard and Jason Rosenblatt -- were moved to desk duty on June 13, and Officer Randy Roedema was re-assigned on June 20, officials said.

They had a hand in killing McClain, who was pronounced dead on Aug. 27, 2019, three days after they confronted him when answering a call about a suspicious [i.e., young Black] person in the area.

Officers then applied a deadly chokehold as they escalated their aggressive confrontation, authorities have said [though they used euphemisms to conceal the gravity of the situation]….
        • The coroner for the counties of Adams and Broomfield determined that McClain's death was due to "undetermined causes." But he did not rule out whether the violent police chokehold, in addition to the shocking administration of the dangerous sedative ketamine (street name "Special K") paramedics chose to inject into Mr. McClain, might have contributed to his death.
Protesters across the nation have been calling for action against systemic racism and police brutality since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. More
        • What is KETAMINE? This medication is mainly used for starting and maintaining anesthesia. It induces a trance-like state while providing pain relief [Why would he need relief unless police had used excessive force?], sedation, and memory loss. Other uses include sedation in intensive care and treatment of pain... Common side effects include agitation, confusion, or hallucinations as the medication wears off. Elevated blood pressure and muscle tremors are also common.... More

        The Bible's non-Christian, non-Jewish origins

Paul Wallis (The 5thKind.TV, Dec. 15, 2019; Editors, Wisdom Quarterly

Truth Behind the Original Bible Story
        Escaping from Eden (P. Wallis)
The information in this documentary will change the way we all think about the history of humanity's origins as recorded in the Bible and the far older texts it plagiarized.
In Escaping from Eden author Paul Wallis asks, Does the Book of Genesis teach that the [current version of the] human race was created by a God or engineered by ETs? Website: 5thKind.TV
Wallis documents that the pre-Jewish compilers of the Bible were borrowing (plagiarizing) the story from a far older Sumerian account of creation.

Sumerians list kings with very long reigns.
The Annunaki, or “those who came from the heavens to earth,” are the creators -- and their origins are extraterrestrial. [In Buddhism, Jainism, and Vedic Hinduism, they are called asuras and devas, titans and "shining ones."]

          Gilgamesh, Master of Animals
Many of the world’s oldest myths claim that the governors of human societies began as domination established by superior beings they thought of as “gods.” The job of ruling was then handed over to human-hybrid kings.

The books of the Bible have their origin in ancient Sumerian texts. They tell the same story and pre-date biblical accounts by thousands of years. They document the existence of ancient aliens.

The Sumerian story begins with powerful and long-lived beings coming down from space -- the heavens, the stars, the sky. The Sumerian glyph for these beings is a symbol that points to the sky.

The Annunaki came from the heavens. They are the sky people. Why are we here? The Bible is a watered down version of the scary truth behind what really happened to earth in the past.

Mark S. Smith and many other scholars like Zecharia Sitchen have figured it out.

This information might be a lot to take in, so for help de-stressing, check out the mind and body relaxation channel with guided meditations scripted and read by Paul Wallis.
          • Gilgamesh was an annunaki-human hybrid king, whose tomb was discovered in Iraq and part of the reason for the US War was to extract DNA to confirm this in 2003, claims Wallis.
          • Sumerian (𒅴𒂠) is the language of ancient Sumer that was spoken in Mesopotamia (modern Iraq). A cultural symbiosis developed in the 3rd millennium BC between the Sumerians and the Semitic-speaking Akkadians, with influence on each other evident in all areas

The Story of Calculus: How Europeans claimed credit for a subject that India invented
Math is a religion! (Calvin & Hobbes)
If humans discovered calculus, they were from India and many were Muslim. [More likely, these sophisticated forms of calculation were handed down from the akasha deva loka, extraterrestrial worlds with technologically advanced beings from space.]

Sadly, due to his heavy and hard to decipher accent, the Frustrated Indian is unlikely to convince many Occidentals, Europeans, or Caucasians and zero racists. But there is much evidence that what he is saying is exactly true. And he offers references at the end of the video.

          The House of Wisdom
What is the discover and history of calculus (the language of change and motion) and the great European mathematicians behind its unique discovery [except for its previous discovery in India and appropriated by colonial British and European invaders].

Who discovered it, how and why? What is it used for? What is the infinitesimal, the derivative, the limit? What are the inverse operations of integration and differentiation?

Get the European version of its discovery. The maths (the British way of saying mathematics) behind integral and differential calculus do not jump from Ancient Greek calculations to European to British/English maths of the 17th century. Was it Eudoxus, Archimedes, Cavalieri, Newton, and Leibniz or great mathematicians who used to get credit but were erased and replaced by a make believe racist history that abrogates to itself all useful discoveries as Eurocentric white supremacy?

What are the original narratives, and what do they say about who we are and where we came from?

          Eurocentric art, Sumerian story
What was the earlier (pre-Bible) story of human origins that was almost obliterated from the Hebrew scriptures in the 6th century BC and suppressed in Christian writings in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD?

What does any of this have to do with "heavenly beings" or extraterrestrials who arrived on earth to dumb down and rule human slaves?
