At this time the USS Currituck was off the Shackleton Ice Shelf on the Queen Mary Coast of Wilkes Land. Reaching the coastline, Bunger flew west with cameras humming. Suddenly the men in the cockpit saw a dark spot come up over the barren white horizon and as they drew closer, they couldn't believe their eyes.
Byrd later described it as a "land of blue and green lakes and brown hills in an otherwise limitless expanse of ice."
Bunger and his men carefully inspected the region and then raced back to the ship to tell the others of their discovery. Several days later Bunger and his flight crew returned for another look, finding one of the lakes big enough to land on. Bunger carefully landed the "flying boat" and slowly came to a stop. The water was actually quite warm for Antarctica, about 30°, as the men dipped their hands in to the elbow. The lake was filled with red, blue, and green algae, which gave the lakes their distinctive color. The fly boys "seemed to have dropped out of the twentieth century into a landscape of thousands of years ago when land was just starting to emerge from one of the great ice ages," Byrd later wrote. Researcher Steve Quayle discussed his latest work uncovering why much of what we think we know about World War II and the alleged defeat of Nazi Germany is WRONG.
Quayle contends that Nazi SS members, scientists, and soldiers escaped along with Adolf Hitler after WW II to create colonies in other parts of the world such as South America and Antarctica, where they continued their monstrous Nazi research.
According to an interview with a British wartime officer, in the summer of 1944, a team of 30 British scientists and commandos found an ancient tunnel in the Antarctic and went into it. But only two returned, and they described seeing "Nazis under the ice, polar men, and an under-the-ice city," Quayle recounts.
During Admiral Richard Byrd's Operation High Jump in the Antarctic, Nazis in flying saucers attacked the U.S. armada in 1947, he reports. To create their disc-shaped vimana flying craft, the Nazis reversed-engineered ancient alien technology via occult means such as seances "with ghost-like figures dictating to them advanced mathematic formulas," Quayle says.
Oracle Maria Orsitch of the Vril Society says she channeled alien technology from Aldebaran and offered it to the Nazis, who at that time were still up and coming and had not begun the atrocities for which they are infamous. She herself used one of the vimana crafts to reach Aldebaran, never to be seen on earth again.
