Lizzy likes to travel, so she heads for China, behind the red wall, to magical Leshan to see the Giant Buddha in Sichuan Province. The size of the caves before arriving are boggling. China is enormous and very advanced, which we rarely here about by a critical U.S. media, although a quarter of its land was stolen from Tibet, which it now claims with an eye on Taiwan. Certainly, the Chinese government does much harm, but are there no upsides to its culture and creativity? Could Westerners so love the Chinese that they might even adopt one and give her everything?
