Let us repeat God's name (Gnostic)

When God was asked its name, the answer that came was: I am. Who? I am that I am. But did the Teacher not teach that we ourselves are God (GOD, Godhead, Godhood, Brahman?) in a state where we imagine separation from source, from the All One, from connection?

If so, could it be that I am that "I am" of which they speak when asking God's real name? Why did the Church and ancient Judaism forbid the pronunciation of this "name"?

It's interesting that a part of Eight Limb (Ashtanga) Yoga is japa, or the repetition of a divine name (or God's name) as a mantra ("mind instrument") for concentration/meditation.

This "Word of God" was BANNED for being too powerful
(MorgueOfficial) Started streaming March 24, 2025: An ancient divine force was hidden, silenced, and nearly erased. Why? Because it revealed a truth too powerful for religion to control. This isn’t the Word you read in church… See Dawn of the New Earth (The Neogenian Dawn)

Not in my officially-approved state religion!
  • YHWH (Yahweh, Jehovah, YHVH) is, in Kabbala, the Tetragrammaton, which is four characters (yodh, he, waw, he) representing the Four Elements (the dhātus or maha-bhuta in Buddhism). If "spirit" (sh or shin) is inserted in the middle, the name becomes Yeheshua (Yahoshua, Yeshua, Yesus, Iesus, Issa, Yahoo, etc.)
  • Mahā-bhūta: The four "primary elements" (or ultimate characteristics of matter), is another name for the Four Eements (dhātu) underlying all materiality.

Dismantling Ukraine, CIA blunder or Russia?

Vlad Putin gives topless FEMEN protester the reptilian snake eyes as Germany's Merkel and others make a mad dash to get out of the way (femen.org)

FEMEN coming to the USA
Who fomented the uprising in Ukraine -- the progressives of Kiev and the powerful women of the Maidan?

Or was it the CIA working behind the scenes hand in hand with Sen. John McCain, who was creeping around the country for weeks, while topless demonstrators were calling attention to the plight of westward-leaning cosmopolitans?

Dirty girl, cover your dirty body! (FEMEN)
Then there was the U.S. Ambassador making statements about who would be installed once Pres. Yanukovich was deposed. It's true the wealthier city dwellers wanted to move into the Euro zone and out of the Soviet sphere, but not so most of the rural residents.

Pres. (Dictator) Putin and Russia caught on to the spread of N.A.T.O. and stood in the way. Not content to lose a strategic region, they took some of it back. No doubt they would gladly take all of it back and more. They must have a long-term plan: military aggression and overreach builds an empire like it did in the time of the czars.

The way to peace is proactive (codepink.org)
Who's side are we on to question the source of the Western-style freedom aspirations of Ukraine? We are progressive, cosmopolitan city dwellers, so it's easy for us to side with FEMEN and say GO EURO MAIDANS!

But we cannot deny that this "revolution," like many recent uprisings, hasn't been what it seems. We think and are told by the mainstream media that it is grassroots and inspired by the "unintended consequences/benefits" of social media. Bull.

The attempt to depose Castro and the Cuban regime with ZunZumeo shows that these things are carefully plotted and implemented. Facebook, Twitter, and cellphones are not instruments of liberation -- but all part of the spying apparatus. Manipulated to stir up trouble for governments and police departments with predictable results.

"Stop racism" (femen.org)
If the CIA, NSA, FBI, DHS wanted people to get on the Internets and make trouble (Arab Spring, Occupy, Orange Revolution, Green Revolution, Saffron Revolution, Pink Revolution, Red Shirts vs. Yellow Shirts, Kill Kony Kampaign, and the next brainchild of some shy college nerd who never thought of him/herself as a revolutionary but was just trying to bring a little attention to some social justice cause), why do these clandestine operations look the other way or actively help police departments when they come down hard on participants?

Mass arrests, mass incarcerations, jail sentences, fines, probation, police records, suppression by attention because "We've got our eye on you!" And everyone is still walking around carrying their own shiny, sleek monitoring devices proudly sporting/supporting their corporate brands.
Nadia, Pussy Riot (willworth.co.uk)
Brands are for cows, and branding is for slaves. Apple logo, anyone? An F for your Facebook cause? How about a "little bird" that quickly flies back to the police chief and whispers in his ear: "It was so-and-so talking, here's what they said, arrest them for saying it" [but develop a pretext first since our eavesdropping evidence can't be used without a warrant]. It's a whole new way to police, spy, control, and pit us against one another.

*Mocking* No, social media's the best! Look, I can save the warbler in my community and stop LAPD spying by liking this movement then spreading the message to all my Facebook friends and tweeting about it on my iPhone and ultralight Mac book, while I stand in line to buy a pair of Google Glass glasses to ogle for G-men. They sit in their cubicles, and I do the footwork then incriminate myself and my friends on email, top-secret SnapChat exchanges. Then I'm free to get a little sexting in on the side with all my UK friends.

NSA: We will end "privacy" until no one in America remembers what that ever meant.

It's not true. While the "instruments of change" can be anything from a strong voice and a point of view to a private meeting, we have to be aware when we are being monitored and manipulated. The solution is not to say, "Let them spy on me."

Make out, not war (CP)
The answer is to resist and avoid being spied on or taking it as given then doing all the organizing we normally would. Listen to Snowden, listen to Manning, listen to Greenwald, Scahill, Poitras, and Assange -- and their are plenty of other voices in the wilderness. Listen but think. We know network news is lying and spinning all day long. Even good voices can be twisted and spun to work against themselves.

Coca-Cola and Karma (cartoon)

Why do soft drinks use bubbly soda? It is the only way to make that much sugar palatable. Sugar ends up being more toxic and addictive than the little cocaine once used.

Former exec regrets Coke's marketing campaign

WASHINGTON - Todd Putman stepped up to a podium Thursday ready to break with his past.

Spread before him was a ballroom full of public health officials and community activists, gathered for a "National Soda Summit" on how to loosen the soda industry's grip on the American appetite.

The conference marked the latest salvo in a barrage of recent attacks on makers of unhealthy food and beverages, especially soda.
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, I, announced plans to ban super-size sodas from his city's restaurants, movie theaters, sports arenas, and bodegas. Disney will no longer run junk-food ads with its children's programming. First lady Michelle's book about the White House vegetable garden, released Tuesday, notes that the only drinks offered during family meals at home are milk and water.

The logic behind these moves has been repeated so often it is practically a mantra: The nation is in the throes of an obesity crisis, and sodas account for an outsize share of the sugar pouring into American bellies.

Putman, 51, shares that view. But he is also driven by another motive: From 1997 to mid-2000, he was a top marketing executive at Coca-Cola.

"It took me 10 years to figure out that I have a large karmic debt to pay for the number of Cokes I sold across this country," he said. On Thursday, he came to settle it.

He wanted to give an inside account of what he contends has been a drive by Coca-Cola to replace not just its direct competitors but all beverages in the American diet -- a campaign for what the company called "share of stomach." He wanted to warn about the industry's focus on young people and minorities.
But mostly he wanted to level the playing field.

"I'm not against soft drinks per se," he began carefully. "What I am for is balance of power. And I think the power has shifted in the wrong direction. The resources, the scale, the intelligence, the strategy these companies use is intense.

"We need to take all that thinking...all that strategy and convert it -- jujitsu it -- to healthy products."

Such a mission would have been inconceivable to the man who joined Coca-Cola back in 1997, Putman said during an interview before the speech. More

The Swastika "卍"

What is the real meaning of the Buddhist religious symbol known as the Swastika?

The swastika symbol can be found in archaeological sites all over the world including ancient Europe, Asia, America (among the indigenous Indians), and so on. These relics show that the swastika has a long history. In modern times, the swastika is most famous as the corporate logo for the Nazi party of Hitler's Germany. Before that, it had an exalted Indian history and played a role in many religions, not least of which was Buddhism and esoteric Hinduism.

The origin of the swastika is unknown -- representing the sun or a wheel even to the most ancient of cultures. But it is a famous and revered mark on the Buddha's body.

Generally, the swastika is a symbol meaning "good fortune." Most people seem to have forgotten that. The origin of swastika may be otherworldly. As a mark on the Buddha's body, it represents the Buddha's level and status in heaven. A Tathagata ("Perfected One") is represented with one swastika on the body, usually the chest. Other Buddhas imagined to be greater have more. Arhats and Bodhisattvas do not have any.

Pre-Buddhist symbol
Swastikas (facing in either direction) have been found in ancient Greece. While it is a Buddhist religious symbol, and Buddhism reached ancient Greece, not all swastikas are Buddhist. Ancient Vedic cultures (extending through modern day Pakistan, Afghanistan, and all the way through the ancient Greek world, came in contact with the West before then.

It is believed by some that in earlier times, before the Big Flood, people in Europe believed in the Buddha. And during the Big Flood, some ancient Greek people who lived to the south-west of Himalayas survived. They are the current light-skin Indians (Arya) called Brahmins, who seem to be descended from Persians and other pre-Indus Valley civilization conquerors. Originally, Brahmanism experienced many converts to the Buddha's teachings, which were inherited by the ancient Greeks.

They also inherited the sculpture methods. Therefore, many ancient Indian Buddha statues are distinctly Western (such as the Gandharan period pieces in many Western museums) in appearance. These sculptural techniques, along with various swastikas, spread from India to China with Buddhism. Thus, some Asian Buddha statues have deep eyes and straight noses (along with blue eyes, togas, jawlines, other facial features, and the physiques of Greek gods).

One of the main Buddha statues in Yun-gang Grotto, Shan-xi Province in China has an obviously Western face.

Shakyamuni Buddha began his dispensation about 500 B.C.E. Buddhism, in a narrow sense, only refers to the specific religion that grew up around this historical Buddha's teachings. But the Buddhism that spread to China in the 1st century to become one of the world's major religions and the dominant faith of most Chinese people was an amalgamation of Hinduism and Buddhism called Mahayana, a philosophical refinement of Shakyamuni's conventional teachings.

In a broader sense, Buddhism is not limited to referring only to Shakyamuni and his teachings. For example, Tibetan Tantra also believes in a Buddha but not Shakyamuni. In China, people regard Tibetan Tantra as a part of Buddhism. But Tantra (being a Hindu invention) was not created by Shakyamuni, and in some divisions of Tantra the followers did not know Shakyamuni at all.

Even within Chinese Buddhism, there are several Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas being worshiped. ("Tathagata" is the title of a Buddha like a job title). Shakyamuni is believed to have said that Tathagatas in the universe are as plentiful as the grains of sand in the Ganges river. Therefore, "Buddha" is a general word referring to a type of divine being in heaven. They assume an outward appearance blue hair [blue represents black in Hindu art] with curls, wrapped with long yellow cloth, with a swastika mark on the body.

The Nazi symbol
Hitler stole the swastika and used it for his own ends. Not only this ancient "Aryan" symbols, but the very mythology of Aryans comes from Buddhist teachings on the "noble" origins of Indian culture as having originated in the pre-Indus Valley civilization from the north (Persian, Iraqi, Middle Eastern, or otherworldly, it is not know. Not only this symbol and story but other esoteric ideas stemming largely from Theosophical teachings introduced to Western Europe by Madame Blavatsky were appropriated by Hitler and his advisers, who were very interested in astrology, mythology, and the occult. It has a much longer human history than the Nazi symbol. In Buddhism, the swastika is generally level and not painted black, whereas the Nazi symbol is tilted pointing upwards and is almost always black with a distinctive red and white background.
