Lotus Outreach: Human Trafficking



LotusOutreach.org is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the education, health, and safety of vulnerable women and children in the developing world. Originally established to support refugee education, Lotus Outreach now also helps rehabilitate survivors of human trafficking and keep at-risk students in school. We support this mission through effective grassroots projects, particularly among the rural poor.

Iraq WAR Ends! (...for UK)

BAGHDAD, Iraq – The Iraq war formally ended for British forces today [4/30/09] as America's main battlefield ally handed control of the oil-rich Basra area [not that this was ever about oil] to U.S. commanders and prepared to ship out most of its remaining 4,000 troops.
