The club filled up with lots of hooting and hollering patrons eager to see Johnny make a mockery of himself as he dies on stage. But there are many other standup comedians doing the heavy lifting. Vanessa actually dressed up for the evening, wearing a very low-cut blouse that makes her visibly uncomfortable, getting hit on by Blind Charlie's date. She's touching and rubbing away while High T Vanessa visibly squirms and tries to get her to stop. Jake looks like a pregnant B with a small dog strapped to his belly as he yells. The poor thing must be deaf by now as his nervous human companion tries to fade into the woodwork. Klein is sitting up front, but Ally is missing in action, having joined DJ Omar Kahn for a private confab in oblivion. The crowd roars as Johnny is forced to take the stage, six inches off the ground, with a stream of drinkers repeatedly heading for the washroom to see or smell what kind of mess Jake has made. He doesn't bomb! The crowd loves him. He's a simpleton but very affable, and he seems to have prepared some material that he didn't practice on the radio show. He even has a guitar hidden away, which he pulls out in Minute 4 to peals of "Tamales Tamales!" But he has a new song, maybe prepared for the occasion. His girlfriend in skulking in the back surprised to see the crowd participation and encouragement. He was set to fail as he does on most episodes of "Johnny Doesn't Know," but his ego has survived the ordeal. Klein cuts out and by the time Jake stumbles onto the stage as the headliners, the crickets are chirping and the crowd is getting antsy. He doesn't seem well prepared, considering himself an old hat at this, he's sure he can just wing it by memory and a cheat sheet. The crowd tries to help, but Vanessa puts down her phone and it just gets worse and worse. Meanwhile, the WQ meeting has moved to the NoHo Buddhist Temple on Oxnard, the Sarathchandra Buddhist Center. The most amazing this to come from the evening are the knowledge that The Good Nite is full of free standup, music, and open mics most nights and WQ has set its next meeting for the Kwan Yin Meditation Temple in Monrovia, hugging the foothills next to Old Town.

(Oriental Pearl) Premiered Oct. 9, 2025: TOKYO. Is Japan cooked? I (Oriental Pearl) have seen a lot of changes here in the last few years. And things seem to be getting worse.
(Broke But Rich) Feb. 22, 2025: Dive into the dark side of Japan with us as we explore the world of "standing girls" ("sign girls")—infantilized females who wait in public streets to sell themselves. This isn't the typical nightlife scene. Buddhist Japan’s unique culture -- and attitude towards sex (as with the ancient geisha courtesans) -- has created an unexpected environment where this underground trade operates in plain sight. But why does it happen? And what’s the real story behind these women?
LYRICS: "Redwood tree [rock hard red boner], it ain't hard to see / His lovะต was the key that opened my thighs." "Forgive me, it sounds cocky." "Girls, I don't need to catch the bouquet, mm / To know a hard rock is on the way...The curse on me was broken by [Travis'] magic wand."
It's not "porn," Dad! It's romance, erotic fantasy, and WOOD shop talk. It's free speech art!
I love wood, Big Daddy!
It used to be all influenced by Lana Del Rey and Billie Eilish, and now is Swift "borrowing" from Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Tate McRae, ad nauseum? It's not just the sound but the themes, as if she's so impressionable at 16 that dating that junior varsity football player Travis Barker has detracted from her [f]"art." - She's not 16, and it's not Barker. That's the Kardashian gal. - No, how old is she then? - She's 35, and his name is Woodrow "9 Inches" Kelce. - And she's bragging? - It would seem so. - That would explain why it's 2:30 in length, which in cm is 9 inches, and it's Track 9. Hmm, Easter egg. And it also suggests what mean Bart Baker is on about. - Well, how bad could it be? Mothers like it, like they used to secretly sing Britney "Brit-Brit" Spears.
These two are SO in love! You can tell. It's 4ever!

The Gathering of the Juggalos (also known as "The Gathering" or GOTJ) [1] is a decadent annual music festival put on by Psychopathic Records, featuring performances by the entire label roster as well as numerous well-known musical groups and underground artists.
It was founded by Jumpsteady, Insane Clown Posse (the two-man white rap group Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler), and their label in the Year 2000.
Is there ANYTHING redeeming about this insane festival of mayhem, madness, and what seems like a lot of meth? Yes: It's explained in the Epilogue
Described by Joseph Bruce as "Juggalo Woodstock" [2] (Juggalo being a nickname for fans of the ICP or Insane Clown Posse), the Gathering of the Juggalos spans five days and includes [lots of drug abuse] concerts, wrestling, games, contests, autograph sessions, karaoke, and seminars with artists.
Over its first eleven events (2000–2010), the festival drew a total attendance upward of 100,000 fans [3]. More
There is a good life, that of a nomadic hippie -- free as the wind (no savings), enjoying free love, doing whatever one wishes whenever one wishes, feeling good, dropping chemical-assistance anytime (haunted by addiction). That may have been true in the 1960s and 1970s; it is less true now. There's a superficially similar but much better life, that of wandering ascetics like the Buddha, Mahavira, and others in the sramana movement. What is the difference? Underlying motive. Both may be spiritual seekers, but only one is likely to make any progress. Why? Vice and drugs make one possible, whereas the other relies on virtue and restraint.
The word ลramaแนa is pronounced /shra-ma-na/ like the English word shaman, a wandering aiming for spiritual development through simplicity, voluntary poverty (relinquishing everything), and often penances or austerities in the misguided attempt to subdue "sin" and evil and develop virtue and self-restraint. Of the many schools and teachers at the time of the Buddha that rebelled against the devotional functions of temple priests (brahmanas), only three seem to have survived to today, Buddhism, Jainism, and wandering yogi sadhus.
Trash recipes
Assortment of dumpster diving finds (wiki)
If one is going to eat "trash," and we do not recommend it, put drugs and drug paraphernalia away, put down the phone, tell pimp or madame you will call them later, and dive into a dumpster, preferably in a group with someone holding a flashlight. Panhandling is a better option, as is eating things growing naturally from trees as well as wild edible plants from the park or other public places. There are always also charitable organizations offering food. But all those sources having failed (and people will usually give food even if they refuse to give change), pick clean greens. Avoid all meat and dairy. Give everything the sniff test. Keep any food found in cool place, which should be easy in SF because it's usually cold at night. Boil over burning dumpster fire or one of those hobo oil barrels. Do not boil a shoe or old boot as that provides no nutrition and is likely to have toxic industrial products, plastics, dyes, and dioxin. Ask a John or Jane to cook or to offer food. Stand by the exit of a restaurant and ask for leavings before customers trash them. Seek public social services. Get a side job at a restaurant that doesn't mind employees eating extras. Finally, pretend you're in lockup, jail, or prison and consider all the jailhouse delicacies crafty and creative inmates dream up. By the addition of crumbled potato chips (which are full of deadly acrylamides in the best of circumstances) seems to make anything palatable. Avoid sugar (particularly high fructose corn syrup) and glutens (wheat, barley, rye, oats, and buckwheat, all of which have very harmful plant lichens that destroy the gut lining and lead to deficiencies, according to Dr. Joel Wallach).
A better way to be a nomad: wandering asceticism
The ลramaแนas [a] are people who labor, toil, or exert themselves for some higher or religious [spiritual] purpose [1, 2], a "seeker, or ascetic, one who performs acts of austerity [tapas]" [3, 4, 5, 6].
Looking down on UC Berkeley and SF
The ลramaแนa tradition includes primarily Jainism [7], Buddhism [8], and others such as the ฤjฤซvika [9, 10].
The ลramaแนa religions became popular in the circles of alms-gathering mendicants from greater Magadha (the adopted home of the Buddha) that led to the development of spiritual practices [11], as well as the popular concepts in all major Indian religions such as saแนsฤra (the endless cycle of rebirth and suffering) and moksha (liberation from that cycle) [12, Note 1].
SF is very liberal and full of compassion
The ลramaแนic traditions have a diverse range of beliefs, ranging from accepting or denying the concept of an eternal soul, fatalism (that all things are preordained) to free will, idealization of extreme asceticism (penance) to that of family life, renunciation, strict ahimsa (non-violence), and vegetarianism to permissibility of violence and meat-eating [13, 14]. Los Angeles’s collapsing streets: a city in crisis as the homeless take over block by block
(Discovery Globe - Life Documentary) Aug. 2, 2025: HOA Kแปฒ. In this urgent street documentary, let's explore the reality behind the headlines as Los Angeles homeless communities grow larger, block by block.
Glittering Hollywood: The Home of Dreams
Once known for ambition, sunshine, and opportunity, L.A. (aka Tinsel Town) is now recognized as a city in crisis, where LA's collapsing streets reflect deeper problems beneath the surface.
What was once temporary has become "structural" (systemic, a permanent problem)—an unfolding homeless crisis USA in one of America’s most iconic cities.
Captured throughout LA at night, this footage reveals a hidden world shaped by urban decay, growing encampments, and the visible homeless takeover of sidewalks, parks, and business zones.
With each passing week, more areas fall into block by block takeover, changing how the city looks, feels, and functions.
As poverty in LA surges and public service systems strain, the reality of LA's decline becomes harder to ignore. The rise of LA's tent cities in every direction—from Skid Row to Venice Beach—signals a long-brewing social collapse of California now erupting in plain sight.
These changes aren’t isolated; they form part of the broader seedy side of America, where prosperity and suffering share the same streets.
The crime in LA increases alongside the growing instability. As emergency services struggle to respond, parts of the city are left with little protection or support. In many places, urban decay LA defines the new normal, where infrastructure breaks down and basic needs go unmet.
Through real interviews and firsthand footage, we trace how the LA homeless population adapts, survives, and expands amid the chaos.
This street documentary does not seek blame—but rather seeks understanding. From the fall of LA's collapsing streets to the expanding takeover, the footage examines how long-standing economic gaps, housing shortages, and social fragmentation have fueled the homeless crisis now overtaking the West Coast’s largest metro area.
By highlighting the interconnected issues of poverty in LA (and California's second city, San Francisco), the social collapse of California, and the USA's decline, this documentary invites reflection on what the future holds—not only for LA, but for urban centers on the edge.
The images of LA at night tell a deeper story—one of resilience, desperation, and the urgent need for systemic response.

Will microbes and mushrooms save the planet, clean the world, and make human and animal life sustainable like they have for millions of years even after we pump petroleum from the ground and make plastic out of it? Paul Stamets (fungi.com) knows that various species of fungi can remediate the soil by sequestering and cleaning up even atomic waste from Fukushima, to say nothing of oil spills and other corporate human waste products.
This fascinating documentary examines the mystery surrounding the sailing adventures and explorations of the legendary Admiral Zheng and his 30-year command of a gigantic Ming fleet.
The Chinese court burned all records of Admiral Zheng's daring voyages and achievements and, in doing so, unwittingly created a mystery that tantalizes the world 500 years later.
After the Spanish, the British and Death.
We have all heard what the history books have to say about the European "discovery" of America, but prepare to have your entire perception of history forever altered with this remarkable release from PBS. [The world largely ignored the work of American scholar Edward P. Vining, who wrote An Inglorious Columbus or How
The British colors made a new colonial flag.
Could it be that a fearless Chinese admiral actually discovered America nearly a century before Columbus made his historical landing at San Salvador?
Travel back to the year 1421 and follow the legendary Admiral Zheng as he and his formidable Ming fleet travel far and wide to explore little-visited outposts at the behest of Chinese emperor Zhu Di.
Based on theories put forward by noted historian and best-seller Gavin Menzies, this thought-provoking take on conventional history proposes that it was Admiral Zheng who led European explorers to the West a full 71 years after first setting foot on American soil.
On March 8, 1421, the largest fleet the world had ever seen sailed from its base in China. The ships, huge junks nearly 500 feet long and built from the finest teak, were under the command of Emperor Zhu Di's loyal eunuch [and therefore not rapists like Columbus and his European men] admirals.
Their mission was "to proceed all the way to the end of the earth to collect tribute from the barbarians beyond the seas" and unite the whole world in Confucian harmony. Their journey would last more than two years and circle the globe.
Spain colonized Mexico after the Chinese.
When they returned in October 1423, the emperor had fallen, leaving China in political and economic chaos. The great ships, now considered frivolous, were left to rot at their moorings and the records of their journeys were destroyed.
Lost in China's long, self-imposed isolation that followed was the knowledge that Chinese ships had reached America 70 years before Columbus and circumnavigated the globe a century before Magellan. Also concealed were how the Chinese colonized America before the Europeans and transplanted to America, Australia, New Zealand, and South America the principal economic crops that have fed and clothed the world.
Now, in a landmark historical journey, Gavin Menzies, who spent 15 years tracing the astonishing voyages of the Chinese fleet, shares the remarkable account of his discoveries and the incontrovertible evidence to support them.
His compelling narrative pulls together ancient maps, precise navigational knowledge, astronomy, and the surviving accounts of Chinese explorers and the later European navigators to prove that the Chinese had also discovered Antarctica, reached Australia 350 years before Cook, and solved the problem of longitude 300 years ahead of the Europeans.
Described in "1421" are the artifacts and inscribed stones left behind by the emperor's fleet, the evidence of wrecked junks along its route "discovered in locations ranging from the middle of the Mississippi River to tributaries of the Amazon," and the ornate votive offerings left by the Chinese sailors wherever they landed, in honor of Shao Lin[Mazu, Matsu, Kuan Yin], Goddess of the Sea.
CONFIRMED: Scientists finally solve Mel's Hole mystery and it's terrible
(Top Master) Oct. 22, 2024: [AI is a horrible way to make video content, with terrible writing, poorly read, and looping clips that come to nothing real.] In 1997, something strange occurred.
Coast to Coast Founder and Host Art Bell, the iconic voice of the show, received a mysterious fax from a man named Mel Waters, who claimed to have discovered something unbelievable on his property near Manastash, Washington.
It was a hole that seemed to have no discernable bottom.
Let's dive into the discovery of this hole and the bizarre experiments and events connected with it. Curious about U.S. government involvement? Stick around until the end to see the Deep State take over.
