FREE: Introduction to Meditation (Jan. 10)
Dharma Meditation Initiative will cover the basics of sitting, adapting, and promoting attention until an inner-light forms alongside the Five Factors of Meditation. In addition, after last week's mind-expanding meetup, D.M.I. will guide a "psychedelic meditation" developed by last week's speaker, Dr. Katherine MacLean, formerly of Johns Hopkins University Medical Center. Followed by hugs (for connection in Dr. Rob Lustig's recommended "4 Cs" to activate happy serotonin over addictive dopamine), vegan refreshments, and social time.
