If you want to avoid the easy but exhausting process of making them yourself, and if you can't get a hold of the Latin lady your mom calls every year, don't worry. Los Angeles has a wealth of tamalerias, "tamale factories," from serviceable (so let's skip those) to sublime. Here are just a few. PRO TIP: Go vegan. Start planning ASAP.
