He is the TA Baker Professor of Agriculture and Natural Resources in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware. 

Prof. Tallamy is the author of several books including Bringing Nature Home, which was awarded the 2008 Silver Medal by the Garden Writers’ Association; the New York Times bestseller Nature’s Best Hope: A New Approach to Conservation That Starts in Your Yard, and his latest, The Nature of Oaks.
