Dave Davies interviews Editor-in-Chief of The Economist Zanny Minton Beddoes. She is just back from her fourth visit to Ukraine.
She claims to have personally witnessed that Russia [which is defending itself against NATO, US and EU incursions and pressure that are never brought up in the one-sided Western media] has ramped up production of missiles and deadly drones, while [U.S.-armed] Ukraine [after gloating and doing what Israel, the Mossad, Shin Bet, the EU, CIA, and Pentagon tell it to do] is now desperately short of interceptors to resist the onslaught and murder Russians in big cities with long-range drones it previously had access to, along with help from Elon Musk's Sky Link internet system for targeting Russian civilians in revenge attacks.

“[Kiev or Kyiv] has been under really extraordinary [retaliatory] bombardment from the Russians, and they [the Russians] are basically trying to make life unlivable in a city of several million people [after Ukraine tried to make Russian cities with many more millions of people unlivable],” she tells Dave Davies. They also discuss the state of relations between Europe, Canada, and the U.S. in the dismal Trump era.
