The Dark History of Walt Disney 🏰

Haha, I started as a way for Walt to make money
(Old Money Dynasty) The dark story of how Walt Disney went from bankrupt to a $200 billion dollar empire taken from the Disney family and run by a mega-corporate conglomerate.

"Mickey Mouse" is a 1928 cartoon character co-created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. The longtime corporate icon and mascot of the Walt Disney Company [now mega-conglomerate transnational Disney Corporation] and a figurehead of American animation, cute Mickey is an anthropomorphic mouse or rat.

He typically wears red shorts, large shoes, and white gloves. He is often depicted with a cast of characters including his girlfriend Minnie Mouse, his pet dog Pluto, his best friends Donald Duck and Goofy, and his nemesis handicapped "Peg Leg Pete." (Pete? Who's Pete?) More

Who was Cartoon Tycoon Walt D?
So it'll be a park for rich whites? (Walt shows Disneyland plans to OC officials, Dec. 1954)

I was doing good till I tried hard drugs.
Walter Elias Disney (Dec 5, 1901–Dec. 15, 1966) was an American animator, film producer, voice actor, and entrepreneur. A pioneer of the U.S. animation industry, he introduced several developments in the production of cartoons.

As a film producer, Walt holds the record for most Academy Awards won (22) and nominations (59) by an individual. He was presented with two Golden Globe Special Achievement Awards and an Emmy Award, among other honors. Several of his films are included in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress and have also been named as some of the greatest films ever by the American Film Institute.

How about them Jews, Wernher?
It is said Disney hated Jews (but was maybe just "a product of his time") and seems to have been partial to some Nazis, such as Project Paperclip Dr. Wernher von Braun.
  • Who was All-American Nazi Wally Brown? Wernher von Braun escaped justice for his participation in Nazi atrocities and war crimes due to the USA's desire to beat the Soviet Union in the Cold War [9, 10, 11] competition to get to the moon. Leaving his Nazi and Hitlerian patriarchy ideals aside, he is described as the "Father of space travel" [12], the "Father of rocket science" [13], and the "Father of the American lunar program" [9] in successful PR campaigns to reform his and America's image for hiring him and ignoring his war crimes developing weapons of mass destruction used by Nazis and Hitler's Third Reich. At the end, he advocated a human trip to Mars like Elon Musk.
I sent a lot of good men to the USA
Born in Chicago in 1901 and raised largely in Missouri, Walt Disney developed an early interest in drawing. He took art classes as a boy and took a job as a commercial illustrator at the age of 18. He moved to California in the early 1920s and set up the Disney Brothers Studio (now the Walt Disney Company) with his brother Roy. With Ub Iwerks, he developed the character Mickey Mouse in 1928, his first highly popular success; he also provided the voice for his creation in the early years. More

Gwen, you and No Doubt are from OC with Disneyland. Why'd you call it Tragic Kingdom?
Mouse problem? Sometimes it seems like Mickey Mouse grew up and turned into a bad rat

Weird Science: Cosmos, aliens, clowns

Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte is set to become the seventh space tourist (a clown in space, if you will)...On the menu for the latest edition of Weird Science: Cosmic cannibals, a presidential alien abduction, and clowns in space. The Andromeda galaxy, our nearest neighbor in space, turns out to have a nasty appetite.

Using a telescope scan, astronomers have found evidence of Andromeda's galactic meals. From the AP: "What we're seeing right now are the signs of cannibalism," said study lead author Alan McConnachie of the Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics in Victoria, British Columbia. "We're finding things that have been destroyed...partly digested remains." Earth's galaxy, the Milky Way, is next on Andromeda's snack list. John Dubinksi, co-author of the project, says the two galaxies are headed toward each other at a rate of 75 miles per second. But not to worry: We won't be dinner for another few billion years.

Back on Earth, a U.S.-Australian research team has discovered the coldest, driest, calmest place on the planet. The spot, known only as "Ridge A," is located on the Antarctic Plateau. From LiveScience: "It's so calm that there's almost no wind or weather there at all," said study leader Will Saunders.

I hear Venus is beautiful this time of year: Reuters is reporting that Miyuki Hatoyama, Japan's next first lady, claims she was abducted by aliens and taken to Venus. The new prime minister's wife wrote a book last year called Very Strange Things I've Encountered, in which she describes her close encounter: More>>
