Six months since Los Angeles Fire

Altadena is in foothills on the edge of Angeles Forest. Pacific Palisades is swank beachside.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Kathryn Barger, oops, sorry, LA Mayor Karen Bass was busy
The LA Fire in Altadena and the Pacific Palisades is the costliest fire disaster in US history.
.
It has been six months since the devastation touched Los Angeles, first with inexplicable winds then the common consequence, a California brush fire that spread all out of control. The cost of it may end up being a quarter trillion by some estimates. That seems impossible to believe because if it were true, how much better might that money be used?

Update from construction worker Adam Corolla

What was the cause in the Palisades Fire, a homeless campfire or a directed energy weapon deployed on some of the richest liberal real estate in the country? In Altadena it has become clear that the Eaton Fire was Southern California Edison's fault, according to conclusive forensic evidence gathered by attorneys Mikal Watts and Barbara Boxer's son (and Erin Brockovich) at lafirejustice.com.

SCE may be 100% to blame for starting it with their derelict transmission tower not being cared for, taken down, or secured and grounded to avoid this predictable outcome. But Mayor Bass, the lack of a reservoir, the fire department doing next to nothing, and no precautions being taken when the weather forecast perfectly predicted how bad the winds would be. Someone upstairs is to blame for not having enough precautions in place. It might be Kathryn Barger, but all eyes and targets are on Mayor Karen Bass and future president-wannabe Gov. Gav (Newsom). What does everyone claim the cause of this (Paradise/Camp-style) Fire was? Embers.

It's as if Vulcan, the god of fire, burned part of Los Angeles back to the stone age.

Waiting for Hurricane Milton in hotel (live)

The mayor of Tampa said if you stay in Tampa, you will die. Dead. Evacuate now.

LIVE: Hurricane Milton coverage
(USA TODAY) Already powerful Hurricane Milton was again gaining strength Tuesday and could double in size before slamming into west-central Florida in what could be one of the "most destructive hurricanes on record" late Wednesday. The National Hurricane Center issued the warning Tuesday, saying damaging winds, life-threatening storm surge [of over 12 feet], and heavy rainfall will extend well outside the forecast cone. Hurricane warning maps show Florida blanketed in red and orange alerts. "Air Force reserve hurricane hunters find that Milton's intensity has rebounded," the hurricane center said in an advisory Tuesday afternoon. Milton had undergone stunningly rapid intensification Monday, its sustained winds reaching 180 mph. By Tuesday the wind speed dropped dramatically although still a fierce Category 4 storm. It climbed back to 155 Tuesday afternoon, just below Category 5 status. Fluctuations were expected as the storm closes in on Florida, said John Cangialosi, a specialist with the National Hurricane Center. Audio provided in part by iHeartRadio iheart.com/live/247-news...

I'm waiting out Hurricane Milton in a Universal Studios Hotel with my daughters. We're not scared.
How will we survive? The trick is to wait out Hurricane Milton in a city far, faraway, like one on vacation in Buddhist Asia, in this case Japan's second city of Osaka.

(INSIDER) My family of three paid $650 to enter early and skip the lines at Universal Studios. Similar perks would've cost us double back home in Florida.

For that price, my family and I got upgraded tickets to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. Having early access to the park and express passes for rides saved us hours of waiting in lines. We're in no hurry to get back to Florida.

Tickets to Universal parks in the U.S. can cost twice as much, so it was a great value. As a longtime Florida resident, I've been to Universal Studios Orlando many times. So on a recent trip to Japan, my family decided to explore the Universal theme park in Osaka. We can watch the storm on TV.

We only had one day to see everything — and it's one of the most popular theme parks in the world — so we wanted to make the most of our vacation.

The best way to do that was splurging on early entry park tickets and express line passes for all of us. Here's everything we accomplished during our visit. I'm waiting out Hurricane Milton in a Universal Studios hotel with my daughters. We're not scared.

Hamas for ceasefire, but Israel attacks Rafah

Thanks, Joe Biden, for all the covert weapons and all the overt weapons sent through Congress.
Palestine's Hamas accepts Israeli ceasefire proposal from Egypt and Qatar | CNN
.
Thanks for the bombs. Why are you crying?
KFI (iheart.com) and CNN (CIA front) are reporting that Hamas has accepted a ceasefire and agreement to release hostages of its genocidal oppressors Israel in a deal brokered by Egypt and Qatar on the eve of a genocidal Israeli campaign to enter Rafah with a massive, although not all-out, force.
  • Reports are coming in that in spite of the ceasefire Hamas agreed to, Israel decided to attack Rafah anyway. Rafah is where hundreds of thousands, possibly a million, Palestinian refugees were forced to relocate in continued Israeli crimes against humanity, war atrocities, war crimes, and the world's most well documented genocide.
  • THIS JUST INIsrael says it will continue [genocidal] operations in Gaza despite Hamas' acceptance of ceasefire proposal (MSN) - Israeli military spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said on Monday (May 6, 2024) that Israel will continue its [ethnic cleansing, genocide, and international war crimes] operations in Gaza for now (AP, The Associated Press).
Do Israeli Jews hate US Christians?
Israel aims to terrorize elderly civilians, women, and children, while humiliating men and daring them to oppose in any way. Defiance is taken as resistance, males of a certain age are automatically (or during the post-mortem) labelled "terrorists" or "Hamas fighters" who need to be crushed with U.S. bombs, jet planes, and a steady supply of secret weapons.

The Biden administration did not wait for Congress to vote for billions more dollars to give to Bibi Netanyahu. It was already sending in weapons with one hands while claiming it was signaling for peace with the other. Eastern Rafah is still being threatened by Israel evacuated for a ground invasion because Israel has not yet responded to Hamas' acceptance of ceasefire terms.
There has been no official word from Israel, but unofficially is has rejected the offer it negotiated because it is not to its liking, and Israel is eager to continue the next phase of its genocide, which is to level Rafah and kill or harm another 100,000 Palestinians, injuring more than a million.
Israel destroys aid workers, journalists, Al Jazeera
Meanwhile, the University of California and other campuses across the country are continuing protests and encampments, and police are being sent in to clear them at gunpoint. Yesterday, USC's camp was cleared and dismantled after Camp UCLA was brought down.

USC vs. UCLA vs. LAPD and DPS
Today UC San Diego is being oppressed and shut down with extreme prejudice, even as the Board of Regents conducts an internal review of how it behaved toward other student, FAILING to follow its own protocol. It has now hired a career police chief to lead its handling of peaceful demonstrations.
Details are still up in the air and not yet being reported by the major corporate media. Stay posted for updates. This just inHamas accepts Gaza ceasefire proposal from Egypt and Qatar (CNN via MSN.com) AT 12:30 PM (Pacific), KFI is reporting that Israel has started to bombard eastern Rafah, in spite of claims by the White House that Genocide Joe called war criminal Bibi and told him that the U.S. would prefer he not do that.

7th anniversary: FUKUSHIMA disaster (video)

Hard; Dr. Caldicott; NHK; Pfc. Sandoval, S. Auberon, Ashley Wells, Wisdom Quarterly Wiki edit

The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster (福島第一原子力発電所事故 Fukushima Dai-ichi genshiryoku hatsudensho jiko) happened in 2011.

It was an energy accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in Ōkuma, Fukushima Prefecture, primarily initiated by the tsunami following the Tōhoku earthquake [caused by the U.S.] on March 11, 2011.

Immediately after the earthquake the active reactors automatically shut down their sustained fission reactions.

However, the tsunami disabled the emergency generators that would have provided power to control and operate the pumps necessary to cool the reactors.

(SGT Report) Dr. Helen Caldicott, M.D. on "The Horrible Truth About Fukushima"

The insufficient cooling led to three nuclear meltdowns, hydrogen-air explosions, and the release of radioactive material in Units 1, 2, and 3 from March 12 to March 15.

Loss of cooling also caused the pool for storing spent fuel from Reactor 4 to overheat on March 15th due to the decay heat from the fuel rods.

(NHK) What about the plants and animals? "Radioactive Forest"

On July 5, 2012 the Fukushima Nuclear Accident Independent Investigation Commission (NAIIC) found that the causes of the accident had been foreseeable and that the plant operator, Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), had failed to meet basic safety requirements such as risk assessment, preparing for containing collateral damage, and developing evacuation plans.

On October 12, 2012 TEPCO admitted for the first time that it had failed to take necessary measures for fear of inviting lawsuits or protests against its nuclear plants.

The Fukushima disaster was the most significant nuclear incident since the April 26, 1986 Chernobyl disaster and the second disaster to be given the Level 7 event classification of the International Nuclear Event Scale. More

California high desert burning (Blue Cut Fire)

KPCC FM (scpr.org, 8-17-16); CBS Los Angeles; CC Liu, Seth Auberon, Wisdom Quarterly

Where will the Los Angeles lions go?
A wildfire burning out of control in the mountainous Cajon Pass is heading toward the community of Wrightwood Tuesday afternoon, U.S. Forest officials said.

By early Tuesday morning, the Blue Cut Fire had burned 30,000 acres in San Bernardino County and forced school closures and evacuation orders affecting more than 34,000 homes, prompting evacuation orders for more than 80,000 people, including Wrightwood.

This is a developing story. Refresh for the latest information.

Update 4:50 pm 2 C-130 planes added to firefighting efforts

Two military firefighting planes are joining the attack on the Blue Cut Fire. Two C-130 planes equipped with tanks capable of dropping 3,000 gallons of water or fire retardant are being sent to the Inland Empire from the Air National Guard Base at Channel Islands, said spokesman Capt. Will Martin.

“The C-130s just add some punch to Cal Fire's efforts as they get spread pretty thin with so many fires,” he added.

Cal Fire made the request for the additional planes Wednesday morning, and they could be on the fire lines by the evening.

The Air National Guard usually uses the C-130s for military transportation and shipping cargo, but they can also be fitted out with the special tanks when need for firefighting, Martin said.

*Answer: No, probably not. But its police state mentality cannot be helping climactic conditions in the empire. Things are interdependent, connected in unfathomable ways. Living beings are one with their environment: They emerge out of it, depend on it, and return to it. They have no separate existence from the whole. Since everything affects everything else, China is wise to respect the ethnic (non-Han) inhabitants of its occupied territories. Although neither karma nor kismet have the tendency to turn around that quickly, do mass acts bear a collective result? They did for the Buddha's relatives, the Sakyas, who were massacred.
