One has to wonder where the young people -- millennials, Gen Z, Gen A -- are getting it from? Has the CIA really used DARPA's internet for this? Or are our kids just being social? Who can say, who can say. Our little Poopykins sure does have a mouth on him/her though. I'm sure it's a passing phase. They'll grow out of it. (Yeah, s/he doesn't like to be limited to "she or he," so it's either xe, thon, or they, and "they" just seems easier to remember.) Personally, we blame ourselves for weaning our family on TV, MTV (empTV) and Comedy Central in particular. If only they had just never invented cable, America would such a nicer place. Right? That's it. Cartman may be pretending, but such people really exist nowadays. For example, look at the case of infamous internet-famous Lapa Hapa.
