Lebanon explosion: WATCH moment fireworks factory blows up sending mushroom cloud into sky
A huge explosion rocked Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on Tuesday (8/4/20), injuring many as glass shattered and balconies collapsed from the impact.
Lebanon's Health Minister Hamad Hasan said an explosion in central Beirut on Tuesday caused a "very high number of injuries" and extensive damage, Lebanese LBC television channel quoted him as saying. The state news agency, NNA, and two security sources said the blast occurred in the port area, where warehouses were housing explosives.
