This educational documentary follows the path of Buddhist pilgrims from around the world as they visit Lumbini, Nepal, the site of the birth of Prince Siddhartha Gautama; Bodh Gaya, India, the site of the Siddhartha's awakening/enlightenment; Sarnath, India, the site of the Buddha's first sutra; Rajgir, India, the site of Vulture's Peak, where the Buddha resided and delivered many famous sermons; Vaishali, India, where the Buddha accepted females into the order of nuns; and Kushinagar, India, the site of the Buddha's passing into final nirvana.
