Fall forecast 2021, hot, dry fires, yoyo, or cold storms United States (AccuWeather) |
Sadly, the summer is officially over. Fall has begun and with it the cold, the introspection, and the fattening up for winter. The Dead (pretas) are getting restless to visit with Dia de los Muertos and Halloween/All Hollows Eve, with Bon Festival just behind us. The veil is getting thin, and the ancestors have been waiting all year in their gloomy abodes. (It's always possible to transfer merit to them to make the the Grateful Dead, as the Buddha pointed out, and added that it is impossible that -- family being what it is going back seven generations -- we all have relations who are in a place to greatly need it, as not all world are able to receive that giving directly, though indirectly other relatives may prosper from it).
