Fauci was ‘up to his neck’ funding coronavirus research in Wuhan

Did Fauci cause the pandemic by funding gain-of-function research? Lying to Congress should be a crime. Oh, wait, it is. If only they would prosecute.

(Sky News Australia, 9/19/21) Dr. Anthony Fauci was “up to his neck” funding coronavirus research in Wuhan, which “just shows how incredibly stupid [and dishonest]” he is, says Sky News Host Sharri Markson.

‘Beyond doubt’ there was an ‘incident’ at the Wuhan Institute of Virology

(Sky News Australia, 9/20/21) Sharri Markson says there is so much evidence that it is “beyond doubt” that there was an incident at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Markson spent over a year investigating the possibility that COVID-19 was leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. Her What Really Happened in Wuhan documentary (available to stream on demand exclusively on Foxtel) on Sky News Australia uncovered evidence a leak from the lab first occurred in Sept., 2019. “I’ve looked at it as two key parts to investigate,” she told Sky News Host Paul Murray. “One, you speak to the scientists about the unusual features of the virus itself. And then the other part is, what was happening in Wuhan? What was the Wuhan Institute of Virology doing at that time? There’s just so much evidence that we’ve been able to uncover over the past few months as part of this investigation that it really is beyond doubt there was an incident at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

Ms. Markson has been investigating Fauci’s involvement in funding the Wuhan Institute of Virology and discovered his agency “had funded 60 projects at the Wuhan laboratory.”

“Then he wrote a paper where he said gain-of-function research was worth the risk of a pandemic, and that he had even funded coronavirus research in conjunction with the Chinese military,” Ms. Markson said. 

Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Fauci has been NIAID head since 1984. He apparently stayed silent during Oval Office meetings at the start of the pandemic about the “risky research that was underway at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

“He never mentioned that his agency was funding this, and he actually knew a whole lot about it.”
