On the occasion of International Women's Day, SLICE wanted to portray the quest of a very special and courageous woman, who decided to leave everything behind -- her safe life as a nun in a convent in the city of the capital Lhasa -- to pursue her dream to find a hidden convent on sacred ground [with energy vortices] in Eastern Tibet where they still practice an ancient teaching called the “Yoga of Magic Heat.”
With breathtaking shots, director Hamid Sardar accompanies Ven. Rigsang as she makes her way through Tibet (overtaken by communist China), from snowy mountains to green valleys, from Buddhist monastery to Buddhist monastery.

Who was the "special guest"? (There was a change of schedule, and the secret star got pulled at the last minute due to time, with boring Roy Cooper filling in. Did the star say no thanks after all?) Where has she been keeping this ability to be coherent, soft-firm, and someone we can get behind? She's an orator after all.

Your cult figure leader is a menace who deserves to go to prison, which is unlikely even after Judge Merchan sentences him to the maximum sentence. So go pay homage to Mar a Lago on your way to Graceland, but there is no way Democrats and Independents want anything to do with backing a lying idiot who now refuses to make much trouble or speak dangerous truths to power.

Once upon a time there was a book called Hillbilly Elegy. It's not clear if Tim Walz ever read it, but he didn't need to. He lived it, unlike the author, not-so-good-old-boy, name-changing, high-powered capitalist, Yale-educated, pseudo-redneck JD Vance. On Night 3 of the DNC 2024, Walz made mincemeat out the MAGA movement and its titular head DJ and his flunky JD. This excellent choice for a running mate does present one problem: as humble and supportive as he is, he is clearly outshining the Shiny One, VP K. Devi Harris. Does she have any chance of presenting a speech anywhere as well as T. Walz, B. Clinton, B.S. Obama, Michael/Michelle Obama, Cat Lady Oprah, Genocide Joe, or AOC? Not blooming likely. Tim is a natural, the real thing.
