    Buddhist cosmology, astronomy, and mythology speaks of another celestial body in the region of our sky known as space (50 miles up and higher). This occult body does a better job of explaining eclipses than the Earth's shadow on the Moon, two bodies of the same size and nearby, circling (not orbiting) over the plane of the Earth as we look up. But it's all being covered up with CGI and the Never A Straight Answer U.S. spying agency, NASA. What we "see" with our own eyes is actually manipulated propaganda to conceal the truth rather than reveal the wonders of our cosmos. The body that occludes is called Rahu in the Dharmic religions. The Buddha inherited this from ancient India, but the great sages like Mahavira, Sri Shankara, and the rishis ("seers") agreed. How can anyone take this seriously nowadays at a time of universal lies when speaking truth is a dissident act of rebellion? NASA has much to answer for, as CIA pilot and whistleblower John Lear explained. It isn't that NASA lies about some things; rather everything it says about space is untrue. We are completely deceived.
    So listening to persona non grata flatearther Eric Dubay makes sense. He has 200 proofs for what he claims. (The State of the World requires us to post this Rebuttals to Eric Dubay’s “200 Proofs Earth is not a Spinning Ball” – FlatEarth.ws in reactionary fashion). Would listening to both sides be reasonable? No! Ye shall attend only to official claims of a scientifical nature approved by gatekeepers at the University, priests on pulpits, paid mouthpieces on YouTube, and propagandists worldwide. Nothing else is accepted. Shield your ears and avert your gaze lest ye be contaminated by Dubay's rambling. We, however, are very interested in listening to him. He also has the audacity to condemn Israel, historical Israelites, review claims about Hitler, and is therefore banned, censored, condemned out of hand, and cannot possibly have anything to say that anyone should listen to and evaluate about anything at any time in any world, especially this one. Obey. Burn him at the stake like a witch.

    Who? EricDubay.com, who appears on Rumble.com and Bitchute.com and elsewhere where freedom of speech still has some purchase, plus all his books still available on Amazon. Another way to believe classical Indian astronomy is to redefine "Rahu" from celestial body to "lunar node," which is reasonable but preposterous, but at least it's defensible and acceptable to the powers that be. One good reason to doubt that the Moon causes solar eclipses is the position of the Moon before and after eclipse dates, usually nowhere near the place it will be at in the sky on the date. Sometimes in history it has even been visible going down or rising far from where it needs to be, but all such talk is verboten and you will be discredited.

    Eclipse, alignment, and meteor shower

    Remember to see the "per-seeds" (pronounced /per-see-ids/) through the dark night of the new (missing) moon, a fireball Perseid meteor shower, as earth passes through the debris field of Comet Swift-Tuttle, and an alignment of six planets: Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. There's a total solar eclipse, the first in 27 years for Europe, over Greenland (technically part of Denmark), Iceland, and Spain -- a shadow going in the wrong direction if the Earth were spinning from west (Greenland) to Spain (east). It will be visible to millions on Earth. Will the world end? - YES, but not tomorrow.


    Nearly 2 1⁄2 years after space enthusiasts on Earth last saw a total solar eclipse, another is on its way, allowing U.S. viewers to see a partial glimpse of the phenomenon, with other parts of the world like Spain seeing totality.

    This year’s eclipse falls on the morning of Aug. 12, 2026, allowing people across most of Europe and in northwestern Africa to see the moon something (possibly Rahu) cover or "eclipse" most of the sun.

    For most people, including those in the United States, the moon will not completely block the sun, making this year’s eclipse partial, according to NASA's website.


    The lucky people in the USA able to view the partial solar eclipse this year include those from Alaska to North Carolina. People in [the small capital country of] Washington, DC [the ruling district of the larger country's original imperial-colonial name, Columbia], will also be able to see it.

    In Alaska, the eclipse will happen in the morning, while those in the northern U.S. will be able to see it between midday and midafternoon, NASA said. People near the center of the eclipse path in Greenland, Russia or the North Atlantic will experience the eclipse for a slightly longer period; most people will see the sun eclipsed for less than two minutes, according to NASA.     The partial solar eclipse on March 29, 2025, will be seen from North America, Europe, Russia, and parts of Africa.

    Although it won't be as spectacular as North America's April 2024 total solar eclipse, the first solar eclipse since the "ring of fire" eclipse in Oct. 2024 is set to bring stunning views to some lucky eclipse chasers.
    Just two weeks after a stunning total lunar eclipse on March 13-14, 2025, skywatchers across the western Northern Hemisphere will see at least a partial solar eclipse on March 29, 2025.

    For some observers, an eclipsed sun will appear on the eastern horizon at sunrise — if skies are clear — as the moon [or Rahu] blocks up to 93% of the sun. Maps show where the partial solar eclipse will be visible.

    Remember, Mom was right. It's unsafe to look directly at the sun during the partial phases of a solar eclipse. At all times, wear solar eclipse glasses to avoid quick damage to the retina. There are guides on how to observe the sun safely. Do not take Pres. Trump as a model.

    What viewers need to know about the March 2025 partial solar eclipse
    Who can predict the movement of the lights?
    What will happen during the partial solar eclipse? This partial solar eclipse will have a long and broad path, rising in extreme eastern North America and setting in Siberia, Russia. At least a slight partial solar eclipse will be visible from northeast North America, Greenland, Western Europe, northwest and north central Russia, northwest Africa, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Arctic.

    Asia, South America, almost all of Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Ocean, and most of North America will miss out. The eclipse will begin at 8:50 UTC as a partially eclipsed sunrise in northeastern North America, and at 12:43 UTC, it will end as a partially eclipsed sunset in Siberia.

    About 814 million people will be in the path of at least some of this eclipse, but only about 44,800 will see at least a 90% partial solar eclipse, according to Timeanddate.com.     (Griffith Observatory) This live viewing is scheduled for Oct. 14: Griffith Observatory is hosting a live online broadcast for the partial eclipse of the sun in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 14, from 8:00-11:00 am, PDT.

    The eclipse begins precisely at 8:08 am, reaches its maximum at 9:24 am, and ends at 10:50 am IF the soothsayers with their calculators have gotten it right.

    As seen from Earth, a solar eclipse occurs when [Rahu devours Surya the Sun and only releases it by a petitionary prayer or incantation, according to Buddhist cosmology, which is ignored by science that stands by its cockamamie story that] the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth and fully or partially blocks the Sun.


    Thousands will overtake the Observatory for this
    [Cockamamie? Yes: The sun ALWAYS rises in the east (New York). We (Los Angeles) are in the west. Therefore, the sun orbits over us coming this way to set in the Pacific Ocean. How then, at 8:00 in the morning on a Saturday, will it already be here over the Pacific Northwest, starting in Oregon and then moves, not east to west but northwest to southeast? The viewing line for the full solar eclipse, like the last one that started over Oregon and went southeast to Florida and beyond, is only so wide. By the properties of light, a shadow cannot be cast with a width any shorter than the object casting it. Try it. Hold a light (mimicking the sun) close to an object, like the hand or ball, and measure the shadow. Either it will be as wide as the hand or ball (depending how close to the surface it is) or it will be bigger, never narrower. So how would a 2,000-mile-wide globe (our Moon) ever cast a shadow that is only 50 miles wide (the width of the full, not partial, eclipse)? We imagine that the Sun, being so far away, narrows the width of the shadow in drawings. But that never happens in reality. It's a fact about light. So the Rahu Theory starts to be more convincing. Also, look for the Moon in the morning. If visible at all, it'll be nowhere near the Sun, approaching it to begin eclipsing it. Since when does the Moon ever jump to get somewhere else at a scheduled time. We've seen it hold still in the night or appear roughly in the same spot night after night for a few days. But otherwise it comes there an hour or so later, or it does something completely new and out of view.]

    In a partial eclipse, the Moon and Sun are not exactly in line, and only a portion of the Sun’s disc is blocked.

    In Los Angeles on October 14, 2023, the Moon will cover 78 percent of the Sun’s diameter and 71 percent of the Sun’s area.

    The next partial solar eclipse visible in Los Angeles will occur on April 8, 2024.

    If viewing a solar eclipse in person, proper eye protection is ESSENTIAL to shield the eyes from dangerous and blinding solar radiation.

    NOTE: While those in Los Angeles will see a partial solar eclipse, an annular solar eclipse will be visible in a swath across the U.S. from the Oregon coast to Texas.

    An annular eclipse is when the Moon covers the face of the Sun, but the outer edge of the Sun’s disk is still visible and appears as a single ring of light.

    It is unsafe to view an annular eclipse without proper eye protection.

    Lunar Eclipse today
