Embodying Love - Year-End Appeal

Dear Meditators,

Thanks to you we’ve been able to send our well-trained meditation teachers to 27 non-profits, teaching mindfulness-based skills to people on the front lines of suffering, across our city and beyond. We call this innovative program INSIGHT IN ACTION. Our goal is to expand this program by 50% and with your help, we’re doing it!

As part of our year-end giving appeal, we’ll be sharing some videos to highlight the many successes in our Insight in Action program, affinity groups, and a new initiative, Insight in Schools - beginning today! You’ll see how your donations have had a far-reaching impact in our local and global community.

Your generosity also allows us to fulfill InsightLA's commitment to make all of our programs accessible so that no one is turned away for lack of funds. This year alone, your gifts subsidized $40,000 in financial support. More than 65% of our programming is offered freely, on a donation-basis, along with 20% of our fee-based programs. We’ve planned many new residential retreats at Big Bear Retreat Center in 2020 which include plenty of spaces reserved as “pay what you can".

Even as we celebrate these successes, we all know there is still much work to be done to meet the ever-growing need for a more mindful and caring world. And we can’t do without your help!
