Slang of the 1920s
(The1920sChannel, March 12, 2020) The 1920s were the beginning of the modern era (the Jazz Age, the Golden Age, the Crazy Years, the Roaring Twenties), when slang began to become much more mainstream. The blossoming of "youth culture" and the secretiveness that alcohol Prohibition created helped the development of new slang among the young.
