Losing comic TV actor Gavin MacLeod (video)
All of samsara is marred by Death.
Why do living beings keep passing away? When will we get a respite from Death (Mara)? Only nirvana, the Deathless (the amataor amrita of ancient India and ambrosia of ancient Greece), is that restful peace. Why do the shining stars keep falling from the sky? Happy! Not Murray! Captain Stubing, why Murray Slaughter? He was such a good copywriter! Just ask mother Mary Moore.
When will Death stop? When will time grow still? In dying there is always rebirth; in being born, there is always Death. Knowing this, who would not wish for an end to the ceaseless cycle of samsara?
(CBS Los Angeles/KTLA Hollywood) Gavin MacLeod passes away at 90.
