Alcoholic? Shut up! Drinking is fine

(Oldfangled Film) The Alcoholism Film (Rod Serling, 1974)

Liquid ignorance in a bottle
In Buddhism, the fifth precept is to abstain from intoxicants like alcohol (beer and liquor), drugs, and other [12, 13] things that occasion heedlessness. Early Buddhist Texts nearly always condemn alcohol, and so do Chinese Buddhist post-canonical texts. Smoking that leads to craving is sometimes also included here.

Right action is an important start on the Path
In modern times, traditional Buddhist countries have seen revival movements to promote the basic Five Precepts the Buddha pointed out as longstanding sources of grievous suffering (karma or deeds producing unwelcome results). As for the West, these precepts play a major role in Buddhist organizations. They have also been integrated into mindfulness training programs, though many new mindfulness specialists do not support this because of the precepts' religious import. Lastly, many conflict prevention programs make use of the precepts. Five Precepts

50 years for female teachers: sex with boys

(WISN 12 News) Female former school aide, 34, gets 50.5 years for child sex crimes with four young boys. Meanwhile, rich white men, many of them Jews and Zionists, get not so much as an investigation from the FBI, CIA, the Trump administration, AG Pam Bondi, the Biden administration, or anyone else. Double standard?

Man who tried to shoot Trump: Ryan Routh

Ryan Wesley Routh
Ryan Routh, the man accused of trying to assassinate Donald Trump on Trump's West Palm Beach golf course last year, was found guilty Tuesday (Sept. 23, 2025) after a two-week trial on all five counts he faced. The jury took three hours to come to its verdict. He was forcibly removed from the courtroom in a chaotic scene, following the reading of the guilty verdict, after Routh tried to stab himself in the neck with a pen in an apparent suicide bid. The would-be golf assassin
My ginger assassin is so damn ugly.
Ryan Wesley Routh [a][5] (born Feb. 18, 1966) is an American who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump at Trump's golf course during the 2024 presidential campaign.

Mr. Routh's motives are currently under investigation as he represents himself in court, acting as his own amateur defense attorney with a fool for a client.

Ryan Routh: self-hating ginger?
On Sept. 15, 2024, a Secret Service agent shot at least four rounds at Routh, who was allegedly hiding with an SKS-style rifle [6] in shrubbery at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He was pointing a weapon through the fence line of the golf course, 300–500 yards (250–450 meters) from Trump, who was moving between holes five and six alongside real estate investor Steve Witkoff.

Why couldn't someone take him out, Kamala?!

Routh fled the scene but was later arrested as the prime suspect [7][8]. An update given by the FBI on Sept. 16 mentioned that Routh had not fired his weapon [7][9][10] (but he could have). More
