Native monsters: Sasquatch, Bigfoot, Yeti

"Bigfoot" cannibal ogre is recorded in an ancient Buddhist text called the Alavaka Sutta
Ancient indigenous Native American rock art (petroglyphs) warn of Sasquatch creatures in area.

There really are killer "monsters" in the woods
Sasquatches, Yakkhas, Rakshasas, Yeren, Yetis, also commonly referred to as "Bigfoot," is a large, hairy cryptid creature said to inhabit forests around the world and in every state in North America, particularly concentrated in the Pacific Northwest [2][3][4].

Sasquatch is a feature in both Native American and Canadian (First Nations) folklore and since the mid-20th century has become a cultural icon, permeating popular culture and becoming the subject of its own distinct subculture [5][6].

The creatures are given many names worldwide.
Enthusiasts of Sasquatch (Istiyehe) hunting, such as those within the budding science of cryptozoology, have offered various forms of forensic evidence to support the existence of these Nature protectors and monsters (since they differ at least as much as human populations in terms of the behavior of individuals), including eyewitness claims of sightings as well as DNA, hair specimens, bodies, photographs, video, and particularly shocking audio recordings, in addition to a long history of tens of thousands of plaster casts of extremely large footprints [7][8][9][10] with individual fingerprints, as noted by Lloyd Pye.

Original film reexamined and found to be real
The evidence is a combination of eyewitness accounts, interactions, killings, folklore, identification, misidentification (confusing the humanin creature with bears of all kinds), and hoaxes.

The creatures are living animals but to say so causes a great deal of trouble to anyone trying to be taken seriously. Even a body is not enough because the gatekeepers and mainstream media insist and repeat that it cannot be a living creature [3][7][10][11][12][13].

Folklorists trace the phenomenon of these ogres and cave-dwelling monsters to a combination of factors and sources, including the European "wild man" figure, Asian Yeren, folk tales from every continent other than Antarctica, and indigenous cultures [14][15].

When disclosed, what will science say?
Examples of similar folk tales of wild, hair-covered humanoids exist throughout the world [16][17], such as the skunk ape of the Southeastern United States, the Almas (Almasty of Georgia and the Caucuses), Yeren of China, and Yeti of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, India, and the Himalayas extending from Bangladesh to Afghanistan, including the Australian Yowie [14][18], and frightful (sometimes peaceful) creatures in the mythologies of indigenous people [19][20], who consider them another human tribe.

German Krampus, mean demonic shapeshifter
Speculation, a growing cultural interest in the preservation of the environment, and overall societal awareness of the subject have been cited as additional factors [21]. More: Bigfoot

Soviets arrive to conquer Afghans. Fail.
Steve Quayle and L.A. Marzulli revealed the existence of the "Giant of Kandahar" living in the caves of Afghanistan, hunted down by American invaders occupying, oppressing, and trying to conquer the region. One of the giants killed a soldier and a team was sent in to murder the Nephilim and recover its body (for transhumanism purposes and the creation of biological "super soldiers," according to Quayle).

Sasquatch can be smarter than humans

But Buddhists can't believe in real monsters, can they? That's just a myth, like "Bigfoot."

What could an ogre ask the Buddha?
Readers will find this fanciful story easy to dismiss and completely discount because we have not heard of these superhuman capabilities in our culture. However, the Islamic world knows about a kind of "demon" or "ogre" (the genies as we label them from terrifying tales of djinn or jinn in countless stories from Muslim tradition). A genie does not grant wishes; it deceives and devours humans and other creatures. They live in wilderness areas and seize those who cross their territory, but as terrible as they are, they are far more clever, deceptive, and capable than we ever give them credit for being.

Demon "genies" or djinn in Islam
If a human escapes their clutches, it is either by divine intervention, wit, luck, or because these ghoulish ogres live by rules or some code of honor we as humans no longer seem to feel bound by. They may lie to trick us into their clutches, but that goes to show that they can think, plan, shapeshift, speak, mimic us (however imperfectly), speak in a human voice as well as having their own language and telepathic powers, and seemingly possess the power to switch dimensions. They are not strictly skin and bones. These features are comparable to Buddhist stories about them. The most famous story may be the Alavaka Sutta ("Discourse to the Bigfoot named Alavaka," Sn 1.10). But a more colorful one full of details runs like this:

The Bodhisatta (the "Being bent on enlightenment" or "Buddha-to-be") was reborn into a merchant family. He was going to travel through a great wilderness on business in the Apannaka Jataka, "Crossing the Wilderness" (Jat 1). Another merchant, the man who in a subsequent life would go on to become Devadatta (the worst monk in history, the Judas figure in Buddhism) was hasty and went first along with his caravan of men only to meet very clever ogres (Yakkhas, Jinn, Rakshasas, potentially ghoulish and vicious Bigfoot cryptids as described above). They destroy him. The Bodhisatta, being wiser and understanding what has happened and why, passes through the same wilderness but does not succumb to the monsters' deception and thereby passes safely.
  • The ogre (yakkha, nature protector, ghoul) haunting that wilderness had been watching. When the reached the middle, he used his superhuman powers to conjure up a carriage drawn by pure white young bulls. With a retinue of a dozen disguised ogres (yakkhas) carrying swords and shields, he rode along in his carriage like a mighty lord. His hair and clothes were wet...
This allegedly true story is not about the fake AI photos at Minute 0:04.
Those two gorilla suit pictures with watermarks have been debunked.
It is about the much stranger selfie taken of a real Yakkha at work.
This video illustrates how smart Sasquatches are w/o shapeshifting.
Sasquatch and the logging industry | What are they hiding about Bigfoot?

(Smokey Sasquatch Stories & Survival) Premiered Dec. 8, 2024: In this Sasquatch/Bigfoot (Yakkha, Djinn, Genie, Rakshasa, Yeti) encounter, an American man recounts a mysterious occurrence in the wilderness of Washington State during an old-time logging expedition.

The largest lumberjack mysteriously went missing and later recounted his story of survival after being abducted by these very intelligent creatures, the giants of the forest and its protectors.

This is a historical Sasquatch encounter, having taken place in the late 1800s. And it is among the most interesting Bigfoot encounters one is likely to have heard. Why? It is not about juvenile in rut trying to kill a human, but rather about a group trying to stop the destruction of nature and doing so by using their powers for good or at least attempted good. They are not human, so they are not sensitive to our needs or very forgiving of our foibles.

Let Smokey Sasquatch Stories & Survival know if you would like your Bigfoot story or encounter shared.

New Yeti/Bigfoot ogre footage

(Top 15s) Top 15 most convincing Bigfoot (ogre, Yakshi, Yeti, Yaksha) sightings caught on tape

Tonight is a big night for cryptozoology and Sasquatch / Bigfoot / Abominable Snowman / Yeti / Yowie / Skunk Ape / Almas / Orang Pendek research as American anthropologist Dr. Mireya Mayor, Ph.D. (who discovered the world's smallest primate and is now looking for the largest) from Expedition Bigfoot appears on Coast to Coast to discuss her primate research and discoveries (such as the world's smallest primate).
Giants/Almas/Yetis in Buddhist Central Asia

Tibetan Buddhists from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, and Russia really believe in Bigfoot

Here are our names and us talking
These creatures are varieties of Yeti, different kinds of hominid primates. They are 100% real. (Some seem to be interdimensional with uncanny superhuman powers, which makes considering them "real" problematic).

Tibetan lore describes three main varieties of Yetis:
  • the Nyalmo, which has black fur and is the largest and fiercest, standing around 15 feet tall;
  • the Chuti, which stands around 8 feet tall and lives at an altitude of 8,000-10,000 feet (2,400 and 3,000 m) above sea level; and
  • the Rang Shim Bombo, which has reddish-brown fur and is only 3-5 feet (0.91 and 1.52 m) tall [12].
Other terms used by Himalayan peoples, many of them Vajrayana (Esoteric) Buddhists, do not translate exactly the same, but refer to legendary and indigenous wildlife:
  • Michê (Tibetan མི་དྲེད་, Wylie mi dred, ZYPY Michê), which translates as "man-bear" [8, 13].
  • Dzu-teh dzu translates as "cattle" and the full meaning translates as "cattle bear," referring to the Himalayan brown bear [7][10][14][15].
  • Migoi or Mi-go (Tibetan མི་རྒོད་, Wylie mi rgod, ZYPY Migö/Mirgö) translates as "wild man" [10][15].
  • Bun Manchi – Nepali for "jungle man" that is used outside Sherpa communities where Yeti is the common name [16].
  • Mirka – another name for "wild-man."
Local legend holds that "anyone who sees one dies or is killed." The latter is taken from a written statement by Frank Smythe's Sherpas in 1937 [17].

  • Kang Admi is the "Snow Man" [15].
  • Jungli Admi is the "Wild Man" [18].
  • Xueren or Yeren (Chinese  雪人) is the "Snow Man."
Other names and locations
In Russian folklore, the Chuchuna is an entity said to dwell in Siberia. It has been described as 6-7 feet tall and covered with dark hair.

According to the native accounts from the nomadic Buddhist Yakut and Tungus tribes, it is a well-built, Neanderthal-like man wearing pelts and bearing a white patch of fur on its forearms.

It is said to occasionally consume human flesh (cannibalism because it is understood to be a kind of human, not an animal), unlike their close cousins, the Almas, Almasty, or Almastis. More: Yeti

How cryptids can live inside mountains

There were never giants. People around the world are just imagining it. This? Natural pile.
There's nothing to see here, no world below the surface of the planet, no boring machines...

Missing 411: Mt. Shasta disappearances

(The Missing Enigma) Sept. 21, 2023: Abduction or imagination? Perhaps the most bizarre missing person case ever. Link to Patreon: themissingenigma.

(The Lore LodgeMissing 411. Mount Shasta is in the Cascade Range of Northern California, USA. It has become the center of a number of cases of high strangeness. The land of the Klamath Indians is a hot spot for paranormal encounters. Robot grandmas, vanishing hikers, and an underground city of Lemurians in the mountain... Is something in our forests?

There is a local Native American legend of a shapeshifting green fireball named Tahquitz (a mountain-dwelling cryptid, the Idyllwild Monster, possibly a jinn or Sasquatch, called yakkha and rakshasa in Buddhism), said to be a spirit or ghoul, only worse because it can transform itself and fly or disappear into and reappear out of solid rock in and around Agua Caliente, where it resides.

No one lives inside rocks because it's impossible.

Both are part of Native American lore in Riverside, the county next to Los Angeles. (Who are the cryptids of cryptozoology?)

Anyone who has listened to the careful detective work of former police detective David Paulides (Missing 411) or read his carefully compiled and ever-growing list of more than 1,000 curated cases will know that the greatest danger one is in when one is about to go missing -- disappearing on a hike with companions or becoming so lost that one is never again seen alive -- is when traveling in or near a granite boulder field, such as Yosemite.

There are maps of enormous cave systems in the U.S. that overlap almost perfectly with concentrations of missing persons reports.

Creatures live in those caves, entities haunt them, portals exist in or near them, and there are D.U.M.B.s (deep underground military bases) with guards and agents that utilize, extend, and allow these tunnels, tubes, and caverns to remain in use by or all of these.

Cases in haunted Iceland show that this lore is not limited to some modern hysteria in the United States. Others in the Old World are very familiar with the notion of "hollow hills" and the beings that dwell within. See, for example, that popularity of the famous Edvard Grieg song "In the Hall of the Mountain King."

Peer Gynt was a Norwegian confabulator, an exaggerator, a liar, and it bit him in the behind. He should have listened to his fiancée Solveig. But that this Norwegian tale is told reveals the deep-seated belief in ogres, trolls, gnomes, dangerous mountain folk in hollow hills.

One place over all others in the U.S. is famous for these sorts of goings on and that is the mysterious Mt. Shasta. People, particularly children, are abducted and taken "into" the mountain. What does that mean, into the mountain?

It is as if they step right through as in the famous case of the American who went to the Andes near Lake Titicaca to a mysterious portal carved into the side of rock. He learned from the local shaman how to use it with a precise series of whistles and tones. And he succeeded in leaving our dimension and time, vanishing from this side to the other.

He reported that when he passed into the stone, it is as if it were glass. He could see out but could neither be seen nor heard. What if there is a simple -- albeit until now an unbelievable one -- answer to what has been going on in Shasta and elsewhere? These abductions could have been using these high-tech passageways rather than some plasma or other rarefied state of stone to enter and exit.

It seems evident the military did not build these features into the rock and then simply forget about them until reminded by this cowardly explorer who immediately called the authorities. He could have documented, observed, and explored them for everyone. Now they are closed off, lost to explorers, just as infinitely deep holes around the country get raided, cordoned off, and erased from Google Earth maps.

For all the mysteries here, particularly the many subterranean worlds already existing, being built by secret boring technology (though Elon Musk brags he has the biggest borer), there is a cover up. Every weekday, scientists in Southern California go underground and enter a high-speed train system that quickly takes them Nevada, alighting in Las Vegas and being taken out to bases. So go much farther east, and nearly everyone in the country is kept in the dark about this.

Man turns into body-modification alien (video)

KingofwierdCassandra Yorgey, Exemplore/MSN, 2/6/23; edited, expanded by Wisdom Quarterly
Look, I chopped off my fingers to be more "alien"! Isn't it cool? Soon they'll take me up!

Man undergoes extreme body modification to turn “alien”
Let's make out, KOW!
A body modification "enthusiast" says chopping off two of his fingers made him feel "complete." [Who are you to judge?]

He believes this is an “evolution project” to become less human and more alien, and he claims he’s less than halfway done. [He's 46% there and a nut. We'll let common sense be the judge.]

Madonna? (MSN)
He began is bod-mod journey at the age of 27, when he looked like the sort of large-muscled hunk that TV shows lead us to believe we will meet if we just buy a gym membership in January.

Tell me I'm still beautiful! Tell me!!!
He had a nose ring and pierced ears, but little by little he pushed the boundaries far past the predictable or expected.

He cut off his nose, ears, upper lip, and two of his fingers; he split his tongue; he dyed his teeth purple, cut a hole in the bottom of his lip, and added implants to various parts of his body such as a raised spiral around his forearm under his skin.

He claims all of these changes have boosted his "self-confidence." [When the aliens land and round everybody up, they'll give me a higher position than the other prisoners, right King of Wierd?]

Please like me! Please! I'll hire an airbrush artist to make me look human again! Please!!
.
When asked what’s next, he says he’s ready to “take the leap” with leg amputation along with cutting off two more fingers. [You know there's a gal out there who loves it, gets it, and wants a relationship with KOW. She's probably champing at the bit just reading this. Yes, "champing," not "chomping." Look it up.]

While these changes certainly achieve the desired visual effect, none of these modifications will be passed on to offspring genetically, making it a misnomer to refer to it as any kind of “evolution.” [He could just take chemical drugs and harm his DNA and possibly pass that damage on.]

Some companies are attempting to make genetically-viable new species capable of reproduction through gene modification, although human testing would be wildly irresponsible at this point [unless done in secret at US and Chinese labs, as is certainly being done thanks to the CIA, DARPA, and similar secret police and spy agencies].

The company [named Colossal] intends to try and resurrect extinct species such as the dodo bird, Tasmanian tiger (thylacine), and Dumbo the furry elephant (woolly mammoth). More:
@kingofwierd #duet with @thefeedski this guy is doing all this stuff to try to make himself look like an alien. let me know what you guys think about this. maybe he really is an alien and he's just trying to get back to his roots. who knows. I haven't looked into it much but this is kind of bizarre. I hope you enjoy the video. #alien #aliens #ufo #wearenotalone #conspiracy ♬ original sound - TheFeedski

Karma of Body/Behavior Modification (sutra)

Introduction
(Bhikkhu Khantipalo)
I shapeshift into a monster (WWMT)
There were some strange people around in the Buddha's days believing some strange things — but that is just like our time when people hold the oddest and most unbalanced ideas.

In this sutra we meet some people who believed that by imitating animals they would be find salvation (liberation, enlightenment, awakening, sparing themselves further rebirth so as to make an end of suffering in this very life).

Is lesbianism harmful karma? You can't ask that!
They're still with us, too. Belief is one thing, action another. While beliefs sometimes influence actions, for others beliefs are quite separate from what actions are taken. But the Buddha says all intentional actions (volitions, motivated deeds) -- whether manifesting as mere thoughts, turning into speech, or bodily acts -- however expressed, are karma and lead the doer to experience results of these actions sooner or later.

In this discourse the Buddha classifies karma into four groups:
  1. dark with a dark results
  2. bright with a bright results
  3. dark and bright with a dark and bright results
  4. neither dark nor bright with a neither dark nor bright results.
Madonna Monster at the Grammys (NYPost)
Dark (unskillful, harmful, bad) karma does not [when it finally comes to fruition] give a bright (happy) results, nor does bright (beneficial) karma lead to dark (miserable) results.

Karma can be mixed, where an action is willed and done impelled by a variety of motives, some good, some bad. A kind of karma also exists that gives up attachment to and interest in the other three and therefore leads beyond the range of karma.
SUTRA: "The Dog-Duty Ascetic"
I want a blind dog because I can't see.
1. Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One [the Buddha] was living in the Koliyan country, there in a town of the Koliyans called Haliddavasana.

2. Then Punna, a Koliyan and an ox-duty ascetic, and also Seniya a naked dog-duty ascetic, went to the Blessed One, and Punna the ox-duty ascetic paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down respectfully to one side, while Seniya the naked dog-duty ascetic exchanged greetings with the Blessed One and, when the courteous and amiable talk was finished, sat down to one side curled up like a dog.

When Punna the ox-duty ascetic sat down, he asked the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, this naked dog-duty ascetic Seniya does what is hard to do: He eats his food when it is thrown on the ground. That dog-duty has long been taken up and practiced by him. What will be his [karmic] destination? What will be his future course [of rebirth as a result of this habit]?" [1]

"Enough, Punna, let it be. Do not ask that."

[But a second and third time Punna asked again.]

"Well, Punna, since I cannot persuade you when I say, 'Enough, Punna, let it be. Do not ask that,' I shall answer.

3. "Here [within this Teaching], Punna, someone develops the dog duty fully and unreservedly. One develops the dog habit fully and unreservedly. One develops the dog mind fully and unreservedly. One develops dog behavior fully and reservedly.

Having done that [having willed and carried out this karma], on the dissolution of the body, after death, one reappears in the company of dogs. But if one's view is such as this: 'By this virtue or duty or asceticism or religious life I shall become a (great) shining one or some (lesser) shining one,' that is wrong view in his case.

I thought we'd be reborn as oxen. - Shut up, Punna.
Now there are two destinations for one with wrong view, I say -- hell or the animal womb. So, Punna, if his dog duty is perfected, it will lead him to the company of dogs. If it is not, it will lead him to hell."

4. When this was said, Seniya the naked dog-duty ascetic wept and shed tears. Then the Blessed One said to Punna, the Koliyan and ox-duty ascetic:

"Punna, I could not persuade you when I said, 'Enough Punna, let it be. Do not ask that.'"

"Venerable sir, I am not weeping that the Blessed One has spoken thus. This dog duty has long been taken up and practiced by me. Venerable sir, there is this Punna, a son of the Koliyans and an ox duty ascetic: that ox-duty has long been taken up and practiced by him. What will be his destination? What will be his future course [of rebirth]?"

"Enough, Seniya, let it be. Do not ask that." [But a second and third time Seniya asked.]

"Well, Seniya, since I cannot persuade you when I say, 'Enough, Seniya, let it be. Do not ask that,' I shall therefore answer you." More
