It rained lightly, just a mist, as poets gathered to get on the open mic list or read from their forthcoming anthology (online publication). There will be another event when it finally comes out. One reader got up to chant Sanskrit as part of extended piece that was both comedic and skillful, revelatory and astounding in its sophistication. The Poets Laureate Sarwar and Lennon welcomed all and promised more events.
