Dream Meditation (June 28, Los Angeles)

Ananda M. (Dharma Meditation Initiative), Dhr. Seven, Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Maya, the Buddha's mother, has a dream.
Insomnia, worry, stress...they all MELT away as we begin to soothe the mind in serenity meditation.

Then what dreams may come? We'll talk about sleep and actually practice it.

When we sleep very deeply, we can emerge refreshed and be mindful to practice easily staying in the present.

Blissful is the rest of one who knows and sees.
Otherwise, we remain exhausted trying to cope. What profound states can be touched by attending to sleep and dreams? We'll find out.
Meditation, community, Eastern wisdom
Bring a towel or pillow as we undertake to restore body and mind with meditation made easy. Tea will be served and we will plan a fun group visit and picnic to see the Independent Shakespeare Company's production of the comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream (free in Griffith Park).

Love Thy Neighbor

Buddhist scholar Maurice O'C. Walshe (ATS); Crystal Quintero, S.Auberon, Wisdom Quarterly

Giving from the Heart
Giving comes very naturally to some people — who enjoy giving and are unhappy if they cannot. And though it is obvious that one can give foolishly, it is in general a very good and meritorious thing to give.

This is probably recognized in all religions. In Christianity we are told, "It is more blessed to give than to receive," and in Islam there is a positive injunction to give part of one's wealth to help the poor.

Muslim lives in Mosul ruined by Israel/US
According to the Bible giving is better than receiving. Just as in the practice of Buddhist boundless loving-kindness meditation (metta-bhavana), the development of universal friendliness, there is given an actual method for this:

It fulfills the difficult Judeo-Christian injunction, "Love thy neighbor as thyself." So, too, Buddhism can give a precise technical meaning to this biblical statement.

Love for Rohingya in Buddhist Burma
If we receive something pleasant, this in Buddhism is considered to be the result of previous karma, in this case vipaka stemming from meritorious actions. It is nice while it lasts, but when it is finished, its source is exhausted.

However, to give is skillful action (wholesome action, kusala karma), which will be productive of pleasant results for the giver now and for a long time. In this way it can be clearly seen to be more "blessed" to give than to receive.

True, this "blessing" remains mundane and limited, being "merit-making for the world" (lokassa). But as all our actions are habit-forming, giving once inclines us to give again, so that the results tend to be cumulative.

Also, of course, this king of skillful action can lead on to other things, and it is for very good reason that giving (generosity, letting go, dana) is listed as the first among the Ten Perfections, coming even before virtue.

It is, after all, possible for even an immoral person to be generous and thereby make good karma for his/her future. More

Our Holographic Sky is FAKE (video)

Boogie Man; Sky Net 5; Shielaaliens; Pfc. Sandoval, Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Nibiru Makes a Glitch in the Matrix and Shows Firmament, Holographic Sky, Fake Star, and Grand Solar Minimum

The glitch in the Matrix is now revealed in HD 1080p 60fps with brand new glitches added to the collection. See mind blowing video. To inspect the original image files used in this video, see link below. Attempt to debunk it please prove it wrong. There is NOTHING to hide: video.

A new camera (with original raw files and information retained) with an infrared filter made this view possible. It's made by BAADER Co.

The incoming Nibiru is the obvious cause of the current grand solar minimum. With these two currently going on, our government has put huge lenses in the sky to obstruct and cloak the view of Earthlings from seeing the transiting planetary system.

When they did that they decided to take it a further and rush out a fake "5G" tower system, which is a holographic system to completely fake the sky and clouds. Now they are faking space altogether with fake hologram stars and planets. Yes, this is real as difficult as it may be to believe. Truth is much stranger than fiction.

Who can believe his/her eyes? Get a camera and infrared filter, and look up. Our entire sky is now a hologram and completely fake. One can see through the moon to see stars on the other side. The sun has clouds behind it. The sky is being holographically manipulated to fool us all.

Not scared of the incoming Nibiru system or the effects of the grand solar minimum? You may be horrified watching this video. Are we safe anywhere? Let's discuss the Luciferian Illuminati agenda turning pushing for a one world government and a cashless society to better track subjects under the rule of a world dictator. It will be the United Nations as the new Parliament, Senate, and government rolled into one.

None of this can happen unless the world is turned against a common enemy. This has been the plan all along. This final nail in the coffin will be a fake attack on the United States by some "alien force" already moving into our world and slowly taking over starting with Antarctica.

This part of the plan is as fake as it gets, but it seems the sheeple of the world will likely be fooled by this like we are fooled by everything else. We hear and believe mainstream news, which we know for sure is partly fake (terror attacks, killer epidemics, turmoil, Trump, shootings galore). False flag events are increasing. It's easy to scare sheeple to get us to believe whatever they want.

Kill your television, iPhone, and computer and for goodness sake. Stop relying on the news for information. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Everything stated in this video is easily verifiable with five minutes worth of research. Let's begin that research right now: Lenses in the sky are real and easy to create. Before asking what is holding them up, remember that it's a gravity-free environment. They only need to be tethered into place so they do not float away.

Lucid Dream Meditation (June 28 and 30)

Dhr. Seven, Ananda (Dharma Meditation Initiative), Crystal Quintero (ed.), Wisdom Quarterly

The mind is different when it finally relaxes.
There are the samadhis, highly coherent states of clarified consciousness. It is a factor of the Noble Eightfold Path outlined by the Buddha and misleadingly translated as "right concentration."

The path has three sections (Sila, Samadhi, Prajna): Virtue, Meditation, and Wisdom. Concentration or absorption falls into the Meditation Section.

Colors were brighter, things were clearer!
The question for us is how best to arrive at these coherent states of mind, states of consciousness between waking and sleeping, an in-between state or bardo, when the body is completely relaxed. One good way we developed is "American Meditation Technique," that is, in a warm bath, but it's too easy to drift off. "Dream Meditation" is different and has four steps.

Now the meditator becomes increasingly aware of the inner-world by following verbal instructions. This undistracted state of consciousness can be focused to give one access to deep meditation via intense concentration or absorption as one withdraws from the external world of the bodily senses to the internal world of the mind and consciousness.
  1. Relax, letting go of all tension and worries.
  2. Listen, drifting off to a state just before sleep.
  3. Follow, while in a lucid dream state, as the instructions guide the malleable mind to focus, bringing about heightened awareness and lucidity.
  4. Emerge, learning to retain that serenity and lucidity.
Buddhism is about waking up.
Meditators are not fully gone because hearing still connects us to the instructions that guide us in, much in the way the Bardo Thodol ("Liberation Through Hearing During the Intermediate State") guides a hearer out of rebirth on this painful plane when in a transitional state.

Now we have an opportunity to access and develop profound samadhi. It's a balancing act, much like sitting is, because an exhausted body will plunge into sleep until refreshed, and a anxious body will slowly learn to let go.

Sixties' REVOLUTION (film)

Weather Underground (Vimeo); Diego Rivera, Pfc. Sandoval, Seth Auberon, Wisdom Quarterly

(Ro*co Films) The Weather Underground: The Explosive Story of America's Most Notorious Revolutionaries weaves the story of the rise and fall of a controversial group of idealistic young people (an offshoot of SDS or the Students for a Democratic Society) who -- outraged by the War on Vietnam [and Cambodia and Laos] and racism in America -- tried to violently overthrow the U.S. government during the 60s and 70s with countless acts of domestic terrorism. This is a cautionary tale for today's volatile times. More

Native American-Mexican history of LA (video)

Iron Maiden; Xochitl (gabrielenoindians.org), Dhr. Seven, Seth Auberon, Wisdom Quarterly
British/United Kingdom band Iron Maiden perform their sympathetic "Run to the Hills" hit song.

The story is much more amazing. Native Americans lived in Los Angeles before this was Mexico and long before the USA came along. This was Tongavar, the world. We lived in peace with each other among ourselves and neighbors and even with the colonial Spanish, who arrived and said they "owned" it. How can anyone "own" land?

All remained well until over the centuries they started moving north with a series of concentration camps called the "California missions." Then the former British imperialists, calling themselves after the new continent they invaded for the British Empire, decided to wage a European-style war and take this colony from their neighbor, the Spanish Empire.

The new City of Los Angeles, which started in a dusty little town called San Gabriel at a fort/camp called the San Gabriel "Mission." The new city council's first decree was to set the price of Indian heads: five cents. To survive, the Tongva/Kizh, or "Gabrielenos" as they called us in Spanish, had to run for our lives, run far away, migrate south for safety, as the British band Iron Maiden expalins in "Run for the Hills."

Eventually we returned to find the land transformed and divided up by white men claiming to own land parcels, which was impossible. How can a person own the land? That's like a person trying to own the air that everyone breathes.

The massacre and unmarked grave mass burial of Native Americans by white invaders.
Nothing like a good Western to make you feel good about what was really a U.S. genocide.

Indigenous Peoples' History of US
Their proof was paper. And they asked us for our papers when we arrived back at our ancestral homes. "Where's the paper that says you can live here?" "Paper? We don't need no stinkin' paper." They said we did, and their judges agreed, so we were dispossessed of our land.

The severed heads of men, women, and children (braves, squaws, and babies) had earned their blood-soaked Christian hands good LA money. Then they began to enslave us by means of laws and foreign rules and many creative tricks. How empires move in and enforce slavery and exploitation with a relative few armed and trained men over peaceful natives is fascinating. It's still going on.

When they looked at our dark skins (which are darker than the half-white Mexicans, who are the product of mixed imperial Spanish and Native American ancestry), they asked, "Where are you from?" "'Where are we from?' What the [blank] are you talking about? We're from right here!" "You look Mexican. Did all y'all come from the South, from over the border? Did y'all cross the southern border?" "We didn't cross the border. The border crossed us!"

"Yeah, well, Injun folks, we're going to need you report to the concentration camp, I mean the Church Mission, for food and care, re-education, maybe a little rape, so you can stop speaking that stupid language of yours and get with the program. It's English-only now."

An American Genocide (Ben Madley)
Spanish, after all, is NOT the "native" language. That's the first European imperial language, the language of the invaders (los Conquistadors). English is the language of the enslavers, the second imperial language forced on us in the ongoing genocide.

How long ago do you suppose it became legal to practice our spiritual traditions and speak our actual native languages (like Nauhatl and the Tongva tongue)? It was not decriminalized until 1970.

So let's not be surprised that if everyone were made truly equal at this very moment, there would be nothing equal about the outcomes because one group has already put everything in their favor. It's like asking everyone to freeze, and when the whistle blows, the race will start. Never mind that you're all the way back there and we're up here, all the impediments will be removed and from this moment on we're all "equal."
