Censoring filthy rock lyrics with Gore (video)

How heavy metal and Satan gave us this sticker
(Vox) Heavy metal and Satan played a role in the introduction of the explicit lyrics sticker warning consumers on record albums.

Mara: "Listen to music, kids" - Krampus.
Become a Video Lab member: bit.ly/video-lab. The explicit lyrics sticker is one of the most recognizable images in American music. Its placement on an album cover signifies you’re going to hear something for adult ears only, and it’s an image we often take for granted. It probably helps sales.

The story behind how we got that sticker is bonkers, to say the least. The very public discussion around the advisory label involved the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC), a group led by the wives of Washington politicians -- like Tipper Gore (Al Gore's wife) and a few musicians including Frank Zappa, Dee Snider, and John Denver.

While the PMRC’s involvement was allegedly sparked by some raunchy lyrics from Prince’s 1984 album Purple Rain, the debate over rock lyrics had been infiltrating American culture and politics for a decade.

The driving force behind that debate was the rise of heavy metal (and particularly the grindcore band Cannibal Corpse), a genre that saw explosive popularity with the launch of MTV in 1981, and the growing influence of the religious right, who saw rock music as a powerful threat to Christianity.

Pope Benedict dies. Long live the other guy

TODAY, Dec. 31, 2022; Slayer "Season in the Abyss"; Eds., Wisdom Quarterly COMMENTARY
What if I look like his Dark Majesty, the source of light in the Holy Roman Empire/the Holy See?

The Nazi Pope Benedict
Beloved Pope Saint Francis is safe. If he weren't, we might cry for that guy. But Hitler Youth member, possible Satanist, and almost certainly chronic pedophile priest Pope Emeritus Benedict Arnold (born Joe Ratzinger) has died at 95 to answer a few questions at Saint Peter's gate. Will the Catholic world mourn? Not likely, not much anyway. He was very unpopular. Pope Francis may commit the same crimes, having been a loyal student of Benedict, but he's loveable in a Dalai Lama sort of way.

Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI dead at 95
(TODAY) Dec 31, 2022. The Vatican [Corporation] has announced the death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI at the age of 95 after failing health. Ex-Pope Benedict was the first pope to resign in 600 years.

I work for Krampus, and I'm Klaus.
[But it is known he was pushed out for high crimes and misdemeanor, not only involving rampant homosexuality and perversity in the priesthood over which he presided but embezzlement and/or other high finance irregularities of the Vatican and its banking partners. He had become an unpopular liability and got to choose between hiding out in the Holy See immune from prosecution or death to save the multinational corporation embarrassment and dues paying members]. NBC’s Molly Hunter reports for Saturday TODAY. #PopeBenedict #Pope #BenedictXVI
Slayer: "Seasons in the Abyss"
(UnderstandingRock with Subtitles, May 28, 2021) The Big 4 rock concert live from Sofia, Bulgária  at the Sonisphere Festival. Band: Slayer, line-up: vocals and bass Tom Araya, lead guitar Jeff Hanneman, lead guitar Kerry King, drums Dave Lombardo.

I don't worship the Devil...that much. Who says?
Will Pope Benedict spend seasons in the abyss for his crimes, sins, and peccadillos? Do Catholic insiders even believe in a literal hell apart from separation from the God they worship? Outsiders like us, yeah, we're forced to believe in hellfire and brimstone, but the insiders, the scholars like Benedict, they almost certainly laugh at the idea that there's a real hell. There certainly must be some forms of it -- subterranean chambers where ogres and "demons" dwell torturing humans in experiments. It's not so much punishment as a result of bad karma making one susceptible to torture and experimentation by wardens down there that have their own agendas. Sure there are "spiritual hells," black dimensions, but are there not worlds of horror, like battlefields and ruined cities the US military-industrial complex traffics in around the world?

The world is fed up with Catholic hypocrisy, financial crimes, and rampant homosexual child molestation by trusted members of the clergy. But what power do the people have in a patriarchy?

Time travel theoretically possible: Biz Insider

Aubrey Plaza, Safety Not Guaranteed; Susie Neilson, Natalie Musumeci, insider@insider.com, Business Insider, 12/31/22; Pat Macpherson, Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

(Business Insider) Time travel is theoretically possible, calculations show. But that doesn't mean one could change the past.

US already uses time travel (Andrew D. Basiago)
Time travel is possible based on the laws of physics, according to researchers. But time travelers wouldn't be able to alter the past in a measurable way, they say. And the future would essentially stay the same, according to the researchers.

Imagine one could hop into a time machine, press a button, and journey back to 2019, before the [plandemic] novel coronavirus made the leap from animals to humans [with the aid of "gain of function" research sponsored by the US military].

What if we could find and isolate patient zero? Theoretically, the COVID-19 pandemic wouldn't happen, right? Not quite, because then future-you wouldn't have decided to time travel in the first place.

The ancient portals already exist for ogres.
[Except that there are timelines where it did happen. One can change the future by going into the past, on another timeline.]

For decades, physicists have been studying and debating versions of this paradox: If we could travel back in time and change the past, what would happen to the future?

A 2020 study offered a potential answer: Nothing [or the Mandela Effect]. "Events readjust around anything that could cause a paradox, so the paradox does not happen,"

Germain Tobar, the study's author previously told IFLScience. Tobar's work, published in the peer-reviewed journal Classical and Quantum Gravity in September 2020, suggests that according to the rules of theoretical physics, anything we tried to change in the past would be corrected by subsequent events.

Put simply: It is theoretically possible to go back in time, but we couldn't change history [except that we have, according to such whistleblowers as attorney Andrew D. Basiago, so it is possible]. More

Are ancient Egyptian DMT entities dangerous?

Mysterious Middle East, May 19, 2022; Pat Macpherson, Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Are DMT entities dangerous and what did the Ancient Egyptians know?
(Mysterious Middle East) Unlike Pharaoh Akhenaten's "blue lotus," Egyptian authorities in the 21st century say a modern-day pill called "the blue elephant" is a dangerous type of DMT (dimethyltryptamine), which can lead to madness and worse.

People who experience it say they travel to another dimension or world filled with strange entities. But where is this world and who or what are these entities?

Can quantum mechanics help us understand? And is DMT really as safe as everyone says it is?

Graham Hancock: Aliens, Atlantis and the Apocalypse
(Jesse Michels) Dec. 22, 2022. Graham Hancock is an unrelenting journalist uncovering the origins of humanity’s forgotten past.

His new docuseries on Netflix is called Ancient Apocalypse. It documents the abundance of evidence that humanity is much older than the belief and teaching of mainstream archeologists.

Most of them believe civilization started a mere 6,000 years ago in the Fertile Crescent in the Middle East. Hancock explores various archeological sites across the planet that show our civilization is in fact much older.

In this raw, longform interview, we discuss the secrets of "Atlantis," the Ark of the Covenant, DMT (ayahuasca) as a window into the spirit world and of course, UFOs and space aliens. Watch ancient apocalypse on Netflix.

I'm going to find the Truth or die trying.
Can music really have anything to do with one's spiritual endeavor or meditative practice? What does rock 'n roll have to do with higher ideals in life? One could argue that it has everything to do with them. Metal fans are the most loyal to their music. But hardcore in general attracts a more loyal fan base than pop or passing fads. Hard and heavy metal are moving testaments to a sort of approach to life, to stilling the mind, and to accomplishing something beyond this life. Not everyone might think so. And it would almost certainly be better to listen to classical or world music and chill. But is that what sadhus and shramans, holy hermits and wandering ascetics (yogis and shamans), would do? Someone has to determine to experience the Truth directly and then tell others about, like the Awakened One did. So it shouldn't be seen as so odd that some Buddhist meditators would go in for extreme music.

The Pagan Christ (Tom Harpur)
(Parable - Religious History Documentaries) Dec. 6, 2022. A documentary adaptation of the 2004 book The Pagan Christ explores the "Jesus Myth Theory." This theory suggests that parts of the New Testament of the Christian-Jewish Bible are strikingly similar to Pagan and ancient Egyptian [Jesus being a boy traveling in North Africa, which is where Israel is, as are other important Christian countries like Ethiopia] beliefs and that early church leaders have formed a religion based on mistruths.

Man discovers vast underground city

Man knocks down basement wall and discovers vast underground city
On the list of surprising things to find in one's basement, a vast underground city dating back centuries is probably high up there.

The tunnels of Derinkuyu were found by a, presumably very surprised, man in the 1960s. But that’s exactly what one man discovered in 1963 after taking a sledgehammer to the wall of his cellar in Nevşehir Province in Turkey [between Europe and Asia].

The man – who has stayed anonymous in subsequent reports – found a tunnel lurking behind the wall during a bit of home renovation. The tunnel led to another one then another behind that. He had unwittingly located the entrance to a huge underground city called Derinkuyu.

.
The subterranean warren had been abandoned for centuries and was eventually found to be 18 stories deep and capable of housing up to 20,000 residents [to preserve humanity during times of periodic catastrophe, just as the Native Americans were saved by the "ant people" in the region of the Grand Canyon].

The Derinkuyu cave complex in Cappadocia, Turkey (Getty Images/iStockphoto/Metro)
Experts believe the city may have housed 20,000 inhabitants (Getty Images/iStockphoto/Metro)

There were chapels, schools, and even stables down there. According to archeologists at the Turkish Department of Culture, Derinkuyu was carved into the volcanic rock and became a sort of human-made ant colony.

The experts believe it was crafted between the 7th and 8th century BCE by the Phrygians, an ancient Indo-European culture.

It reached its peak in the Byzantine period (about 395 CE to 1453 CE) and extended to include wells and water channels.

While early uses for the underground complex were likely storage, it grew to the size it was for the purposes of defense.

As on Mars, life has to go underground to survive a cataclysm (Getty/iStockphoto/Metro)
Tunnels of Derinkuyu were found by a man in the 1960s (Shutterstock/Wirestock Creators/Metro)

According to records, different people sheltered in the city over centuries. Early Christians lived there, fleeing persecutions from the Romans, and Muslims used it to hide during the Arab-Byzantine wars between the 7th and 11th centuries.

Derinkuyu is now open to the public to visit, although only 10% of the city is accessible. What would someone do if one were to find a massive underground city behind a wall in a cellar [or in the deserts out West where large caverns have been stumbled upon that clearly housed thousands]?
