PRACTICING THE DHAMMA: From Bondage to Liberation
a Four-Day Hybrid Retreat with Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi
Beginning Sept. 4th and running through Sept. 7th a retreat will study the groups of mental factors that hold us in bondage to samsara, the cycle of repetitive birth and death, and the opposing factors that lead to liberation.
This retreat is based on the Comprehensive Manual of Abhidhamma, Chapter II, Sections 4–8, and Chapter VII, Sections 3–14 and 24–40.
The retreat includes Dhamma talks, discussion periods, and five sessions of meditation each day. It also provides the opportunity for those who haven’t yet “gone for guidance” (ti-sarana) to go for guidance to the Three Jewels, the first decisive step to formally becoming a follower of the Buddha-Dharma.
This retreat is conducted in hybrid mode, meaning it is both onsite in New York and online worldwide. Those who cannot attend in person can practice at home, participating online over Zoom or YouTube.
Those who wish to join in-person can come to BAUS/Chuang Yen Monastery and stay from Friday evening until Monday afternoon.
The monastery can accept only 50 onsite practitioners. If someone applies after the 50 spaces have been filled, that person will be put on a waiting list and accepted if prior applicants drop out.
Remember, anyone who can’t join in person can join from home via Zoom or YouTube.

It's raining now after the authorities and their corporate allies bombarded the skies over Los Angeles with chemtrails more than usual. Weeks of rain during a lockdown, shelter in place, "safer at home," soon to be curfew, crackdown, Martial Law declaration, we have to "flatten the curve" of this non-infectious disease.
Cell phones killing us and our environment?
Non-infectious? It's not a new germ. It's being caused by 5G wifi, HAARP, cell towers, radio towers, radar, and other microwaves polluting the environment.
Such pollution has already killed off most of the birds that used to darken the skies, brought bees to the brink of extinction, helped cause our recent weather-modification-drought and beetle infestation, which killed more trees than a forest fire, and seems to be the source of this rare extended rainstorm pattern.

5G toxicity isn't a problem. It's done on purpose.
EMFs (electromagnetic fields electrifying the atmosphere) are the cause of diseases like flu pandemics, cancer, heart disease, and so on, not the only cause but the primary cause.
EMFs either allow animal diseases to cross over by weakening our human immune system -- Wuhan, China was the first city to fully deploy 5G -- or is a "disease" condition itself: Cells assaulted by microwaves expel toxins from this "poisoning."
What they expel comes in the form of bits of protein we call "viruses." Rudolf Steiner knew better a century ago; Arthur Firstenberg (The Invisible Rainbow) explains the scientific tests done to prove viruses were not transmissible routes of infection.
Why? Dr. Thomas Cowan explained what's happening on March 12, 2020 at the Health and Human Rights Summit in Arizona: A virus is not a cause of disease but the consequence of it, the result of poisoning as the cell clears the problem expelling DNA, RNA, and protein strands.
These dead bits of code are not taking over the cell to magically replicate themselves. It is the cells shedding.

Ever since the dawn of TV broadcasting in the mid-20th century, non-profit organizations have provided “translator” TV stations as a public service.
Where a primary broadcaster cannot reach a receiver with a strong enough signal, the translator amplifies that signal with another transmitter, allowing consumers who otherwise could not get the over-the-air signal to receive important programming, including local news, weather and, of course, sports.

AT&T will donate $500,000 to Sports Fans Coalition NY, the not-for-profit organization that operates Locast, which lets users live-stream local broadcast TV stations via the Internet for free. Locast retransmits ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and other local over-the-air broadcast signals over the internet. It’s 100% legal because it doesn’t charge anything, relying instead on user donations. The organization says it operates under the same copyright statute that lets broadcast translators receive and transmit a primary local broadcast TV station without a copyright license. According to Sports Fans Coalition NY, that means Locast is allowed to provide the digital translator service to viewers even if local broadcasters object. So far broadcasters have not challenged Locast in court. Locast is currently available in 13 cities, representing nearly one-third of all U.S. TV homes: NY, Chicago, LA, SF, Philadelphia, Dallas, Washington, Houston, Boston, Denver, Baltimore, Rapid City, and Sioux Falls. In addition to Locast, AT&T offers a free digital antenna to customers for local stations that aren’t available via Locast. New York-based Sports Fans Coalition NY was founded in 2017 and first launched Locast in NYC in January 2018.
Locast.org provides the same public service, except instead of an over-the-air signal transmitter, we provide the local broadcast signal via online streaming.

The effects on those who

Coast to Coast AM is a late night radio talk show that tackles topics no one else will touch. In Los Angeles, it can be found on KFI 640 AM nightly at 10:00 pm - 2:00 am. It then partially repeats through till morning with one fascinating topic after another.
The host George Noory -- thought by many to SUCK after supplanting Art Bell or to be a government plant, patsy, or superpatriot -- may be many things. But he is also a smooth-talking announcer who seems to care less about the great topics than not stirring up controversy on the most controversial and conspiratorial show to regularly hit the air.
Not every market has has a station that carries the syndicated version of Coast to Coast. Only about 550 markets do. And of those who have it available, not everyone can stay up for the program. And not everyone wants to have to pay for a Streamlink subscription. But there's a FREE way to listen throughout the day. Listen free online during the program.
Difficulty level: Easy - Things Needed: PC, Internet, Web browser, Winamp (optional) or similar free player to listen to shows from the previous night
Listen to Coast to Coast AM while it's broadcasting on over 500 radio stations nationwide show (or at coasttocoastam.com). The show airs 12am - 4am CST (central standard time), 1 - 5am EST, 11pm-3am MST, or 10pm - 2am PST. The time zone will determine when to set up the Web player to stream the program live.
One of the easiest ways to listen is to stream the program live via a Web broadcast. See coaststream.com to find listing of the many states that have Web players available. Highlight or "click" on the "Streams" menu option on the left hand side. The states are listed that have stations that play Coast to Coast AM. Select one to play their AM station via their Web player. The beauty of this site is if one Web player does not work, just try another state. (It's fun to listen to commercials from other states to see through media nonsense that normally tricks us into consuming).
If stations do not work, try the local Houston, TX one. Brainiac uses it with no issues. The station is News Radio 740 KTRH: ktrh.com/cc-common/hdradio. Select the "Listen Live" link located at the upper left side of the Website. Give the player a minute to load. An ad will appear. Then the station will stream live.
Now that listening to Coast to Coast AM live is possible, what about listening to past shows? Listen to the previous night's show and older shows by using Winamp and its built in Shoutcast
First make sure that Winamp is installed. If not, go to winamp.com/player, and click on "Download." Then select one of the free players. Even the basic players have this feature.
After it is installed, open Winamp. On the lefthand pane go to "Online Services." Click on "Shoutcast Radio."
"Shoutcast Radio" has thousands of stations that show up in the righthand window. Go up to the "Search" box and type in "Coast to Coast am." Usually, there will be 2-3 stations listed. Depending on the time of day, various shows will be available. Often, the previous night's show will be playing most of the day. Read the "Now playing" column to see which show is playing.
Having found a show, double click on the station name. That station's "slots allowing" should start playing automatically. A great advantage to listening to the show after the fact is that it is FREE of commercials.
