Paul McCartney out, replaced by lookalike

Paul McCartney died in 1966: Here's the 'proof'
(Music Mongoose) March 14, 2024: UNITED KINGDOM. "Paul is dead." Apparently, Paul McCartney is at the center of one of the greatest conspiracy theories in music history. Researchers and investigators think the original McCartney died in a car crash in 1966 and was replaced by a double (who won a Beatles' contest for a lookalike) names William Shears Campbell (or Billy Shears). Let's examine the clues from the Abbey Road album cover, songs played in reverse, and even his ears changing shape all of a sudden after the switch.

[Actually, the original Paul McCartney did not die in a car crash and is not physically dead as such. But he is dead to fans because he chose to leave the Beatles, reverting to an ordinary life of obscurity and anonymity, with the other members in on the cover up to save their fame and careers. The others were not about to break up over him leaving music, and the record label was not going to lose all that money, so the solution was to install Campbell/Shears to carry on with the impersonation, which really paid off. Proof he's alive? One can visit his old house in England and meet him, as people have done through a street tour, talked to him, and filmed it.]

*CORRECTIONS:
  • McCartney was on holiday (vacation) with Mal Evans in Kenya, not Jane Asher. (Thanks ‪@areamusicale‬).
  • Paul storming out did happen in 1966, but it was for sessions for "She Said She Said." This happened earlier in the year and is possibly what the December story is based on. (Thanks ‪@areamusicale‬)
  • At 8:19 I should have said "9th of November" instead of  "11th of November"

Not a raincoat, a fashion statement
Black Rock City 2026 rises in the Nevada desert from August 30 to September 7th, 2026. Theme: Axis Mundi.

Will the free Orgy Dome be back this year?
The Axis Mundi celebrates our interconnectedness, our shared social realities, and our ties to this natural world. Final ticket sales for Burning Man 2026 are open now. No registration is required. Buy tickets now through Black Rock City Tickets or subscribe for fresh Black Rock City updates.

Black Rock City is ephemeral. Every year is beautifully unique. The massive desert city rises for just eight days then disappears without a trace (well, some trace but there is a zero-footprint ethos the festival tries to live by, even if not all participants keep to it).

Puppet Katy Perry: How to be a star

HOW TO BE AN INDUSTRY PUPPET: THE KATY PERRY STRATEGY

(Jay Diggs) How to be an industry  puppet: the Katy Perry (Catty Purry) strategy. "Rusty Brandy, Baby, what is a Faustian bargain?" - "I want a divorce!" - "O.K., Hubby, but what is it?"

How did she get her record contract, and how do I get the same deal?
.
What is a Katy Perry?

I just wanna be Kate Hudson again
Katy Lizzy Hud's Son (Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, born Oct. 25, 1984), known professionally as "Katy Perry," is a Hollywood product, an American singer, songwriter, and goofy TV personality.

Known for her influence on pop music and her camp style, she has been dubbed the "Queen of Camp" by Vogue and Rolling Stone.

At age 16, Perry released her unsuccessful gospel album Katy Hudson (2001) under Red Hill Records. After moving to Los Angeles, she signed to Hollywood's Capitol Records and rose to fame with the pop rock album One of the Boys (2008).

Its lesbian bisexual anthem and lead single "I Kissed a Girl" topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Perry's moist, disco-influenced pop record Teenage Dream (2010) became -- ka-ching! -- the only album by a woman to spawn five U.S. number-one singles:
  1. "California Gurls"
  2. "Teenage Dream"
  3. "Firework"
  4. "E.T."
  5. "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)"
Momma, don't preach. I don't need your and Dad's stupid religious beliefs holding me back.
.
It helps having really big boobs, huge like these
Its sugarcoated reissue, subtitled The Complete Confection (2012), produced the U.S. Number 1 single "Part of Me."

The dance-inspired Prism (2013) yielded two U.S. Number 1 singles, "Roar" and "Dark Horse."

Perry's subsequent albums, Witness (2017), Smile (2020), and 143 (2024), were mostly duds and met with varied critical and commercial success.

Now mostly a laughingstock, Perry is still one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with estimated sales of over 151 million records worldwide. She has seven diamond certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America.

The world's highest-paid female musician in 2015 and 2018, she was named by Billboard one of the greatest pop stars of the 21st century. As proof, her accolades include:
  • 20 Guinness World Records,
  • 5 Billboard Music Awards,
5 American Music Awards (including the Special Achievement Award),
  • 1 Brit Award,
  • 1 Juno Award, and
  • 7 MTV Video Music Awards (including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award).
Perry was the first artist to have multiple videos reach one billion views on YouTube.

With an estimated net worth of $360 million, she is among the world's wealthiest musicians.

I told you I literally sold my soul to the Devil.
Outside of music, Perry released an autobiographical documentary titled Katy Perry: Part of Me in 2012, voiced Smurfette in The Smurfs film series (2011–2013), launched her own shoe line Katy Perry Collections in 2017, and flew into space aboard Blue Origin NS-31 in 2025.

She served as a judge on American Idol from the 16th season in 2018 to the 22nd season in 2024. She is an advocate for LGBT rights and women's rights, and she was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2013.

Her philanthropy and activism focus on children's education and HIV/AIDS awareness. More

The sky's gone out: lunar eclipse (8/27)

Lunar eclipse 2026: LIVE view from across the world
What is the real cause of eclipses? Rahu

How dare Eric Dubay do science
Buddhist cosmology, astronomy, and mythology speaks of another celestial body in the region of our sky known as space (50 miles up and higher). This occult body does a better job of explaining eclipses than the Earth's shadow on the Moon, two bodies of the same size and nearby, circling (not orbiting) over the plane of the Earth as we look up. But it's all being covered up with CGI and the Never A Straight Answer U.S. spying agency, NASA. What we "see" with our own eyes is actually manipulated propaganda to conceal the truth rather than reveal the wonders of our cosmos. The body that occludes is called Rahu in the Dharmic religions. The Buddha inherited this from ancient India, but the great sages like Mahavira, Sri Shankara, and the rishis ("seers") agreed. How can anyone take this seriously nowadays at a time of universal lies when speaking truth is a dissident act of rebellion? NASA has much to answer for, as CIA pilot and whistleblower John Lear explained. It isn't that NASA lies about some things; rather everything it says about space is untrue. We are completely deceived.
So listening to persona non grata flatearther Eric Dubay makes sense. He has 200 proofs for what he claims. (The State of the World requires us to post this Rebuttals to Eric Dubay’s “200 Proofs Earth is not a Spinning Ball” – FlatEarth.ws in reactionary fashion). Would listening to both sides be reasonable? No! Ye shall attend only to official claims of a scientifical nature approved by gatekeepers at the University, priests on pulpits, paid mouthpieces on YouTube, and propagandists worldwide. Nothing else is accepted. Shield your ears and avert your gaze lest ye be contaminated by Dubay's rambling. We, however, are very interested in listening to him. He also has the audacity to condemn Israel, historical Israelites, review claims about Hitler, and is therefore banned, censored, condemned out of hand, and cannot possibly have anything to say that anyone should listen to and evaluate about anything at any time in any world, especially this one. Obey. Burn him at the stake like a witch.

Expat Yogi Eric Dubay in Buddhist Thailand
Who? EricDubay.com, who appears on Rumble.com and Bitchute.com and elsewhere where freedom of speech still has some purchase, plus all his books still available on Amazon. Another way to believe classical Indian astronomy is to redefine "Rahu" from celestial body to "lunar node," which is reasonable but preposterous, but at least it's defensible and acceptable to the powers that be. One good reason to doubt that the Moon causes solar eclipses is the position of the Moon before and after eclipse dates, usually nowhere near the place it will be at in the sky on the date. Sometimes in history it has even been visible going down or rising far from where it needs to be, but all such talk is verboten and you will be discredited.

The Sky's Gone Out is the third studio album by English gothic rock band Bauhaus, released in 1982 by record label Beggars Banquet. The album's production was markedly more difficult than the band's previous records, featuring conflict between the band members and with their record label. Critical reception was also more muted than for their previous classic works, though the album has been more warmly reevaluated over time and held up as a masterpiece. More

Dolly Parton dead of cancer at 80

I hope people were looking me in the eye
Dolly Rebecca Parton Dean (Jan. 19, 1946–Aug. 25, 2026) has passed away. She was an American icon, musician, actress, philanthropist, and businesswoman. Cancer killed her?

Once dubbed the "Queen of Country," she was one of the most-honored female country performers, receiving various accolades, including:
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
Dolly wrote her first song at the age of 6, began performing regularly on TV at the age of 10, and made her first recording at the age of 11.

She became a professional songwriter at the age of 16 and, after writing hits for other artists, released her debut album, Hello, I'm Dolly, in 1967, beginning a career spanning 60 years that produced 50 studio albums.

Will beloved Dolly Parton's coffin be lined with hay in Backwoods Barbie motif? (Facebook)

    What's a whorehouse, Dolly? - It's a brothel, Silly! - And you work there? - It's a movie, Dummy!

Dolly composed more than 3,000 songs, including "I Will Always Love You" (a two-time U.S. country chart-topper and an international hit for Whitney Houston that sold 40 million copies worldwide), "Jolene," "Coat of Many Colors," and "9 to 5."

As an actress, she starred in 9 to 5 (1980) and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982), earning Golden Globe nominations for both, as well as Rhinestone (1984), Steel Magnolias (1989), Straight Talk (1992), and Joyful Noise (2012). More

Summer ends: Just Like Heaven (8/22)

    Just Like Heaven 2026 PLAYLIST

    Stereotypical Southern California summer
When does summer really begin? It's not an astronomical question, as the people into genes insist gender is as easy to assign as reading x's and y's. It is easy if we make it that easy, but it is not so easy when we do not all agree to that as the objective measure.

    What is "social summer"?

Mandatory: All Americans must visit a beach.
There's a kind of social summer, which runs between Memorial Day and Labor Day, just an approximation. The seasons do not always cooperate even in parts of the US where four distinct seasons make themselves obvious. There is "Indian summer," which is just a way of saying a long hot spell after official calendrical summer should have ended.

Another example of social summer is the one set by the local school district: When school ends, that's summer. Just ask Alice Cooper! When school begins again, that resumption is the end, even if the weather is still great and drives to the beach are worth the traffic.

    "Summer" = School's out!

There did not used to be a "universal time" but rather many different times depending on the place. They were not simultaneous but more dependent on the sun circling (not revolving) overhead chased by the moon. Those were Tartarian (Tartary) times, and that's all been erased now. A universal measure imposes a definition that does not make sense for everybody on the ground.

Another social summer measure is determined by the concert calendar. The end comes to Pasadena, Los Angeles with the Just Like Heaven Festival this Saturday (Aug. 22, 2026).

    New weekend, same party

    (justlikeheavenfest.com)
New for 2026: Updated clubhouse amenities, enhanced VIP experiences, plus new shade sails, cooling misters, expanded shaded seating, and additional water refill stations throughout the festival grounds, giving concertgoers even more ways to stay cool and recharge between musical sets. For even more convenience, spend the day in VIP for a lot more money. Spend the day dancing in the expansive VIP viewing areas and lounging in shaded spaces between acts, all while enjoying exclusive food and drink options and air-conditioned restrooms. Will there be enough cops to stop trouble?
You will respect my authority...or else.
"Defund the police" was a deception to provoke public outrage. Congress funds new secret police forces and pays them much more now. If police officers want to scam the system, overseers look the other way. Let's make THE PURGE legal for a little while, and then we can use the predictable mayhem and disorder as a pretext to implement some Orwellian policies for "public safety" and a smiley face police state.

What was the hit song of the summer?

What'll be Song of Summer for 2026?

The new Ocean Way Festival of LA
Given the exigencies and erratic demands of the music industry nowadays, it is essential that one hit song be pushed to the top of the pop charts to rule each summer. A pop idol's shelf life could depend on it, or it might make an up and comer's career. This summer is tough because there's no obvious frontrunner. Taylor Swift? Yawn. Olivia Rodrigo has a new album, a new festival (Daisy Chain Fields), and everything she's done in the past has been so promising, but a runaway hit?

Who can win the music biz war battle by battle?
Not to our ears, not this time, not even "drop dead" or "the cure." Does it have to be a new song? Technically not because SAINt JHN had "Roses" due to a remix that went viral on TikTok or Instagram or my littler sister's cellphone and dance class. We used to be able to rely on Lana Del Rey to kick out the summer jams.

Editor's flashback pick: JFA "Beach Blanket Bongout"
