Dave Markey of We Got Power Films, drummer of Sin 34, was very ambitious and always carried a movie camera and film with him back then. And from the footage he shot, he made some short films and the punkumentary The SLOG Movie, featuring a number of SoCal bands including Sin 34.

This documentary examines how a white punk rock street gang became controlled by a notorious white supremacist prison organization through federal court testimony, law enforcement records, and witness accounts.
Peckerwood is a U.S. racial epithet used against white people, especially poor rural whites [2]. Originally an ethnic slur, the term has been reclaimed by a subculture related to prison gangs and outlaw motorcycle clubs [3,4,5,6]. The term was in use as an inversion of woodpecker in the Southern United States by the 1830s; it is also with the sense referring to white people documented from the 1850s [2]. Uninvolved cop puts himself on duty and slams into fleeing motorcyclist during high-speed pursuit east of Los Angeles
(KTLA 5) Oct. 27, 2025: An off-duty cop decided he wanted to put himself on the clock [thereby immunizing him from the crime of attempted murder using a civilian vehicle likely to produce great bodily harm or death] and he purposely sideswipes a motorcyclist allegedly fleeing the scene of a shooting. The speeding motorist crashed during the high-speed pursuit in [or just beyond] eastern Los Angeles County [into San Bernardino County].
Imagine a privileged life so tragic there's nothing left to do but attend big alt rock festivals, dance to EDM, and get blitzed with friends doing nothing with their lives but going to school and working for The Man. This is the American dream? This is the "pursuit of happiness"? And shows are so expensive now, post-plandemic, that one is reduced to trying to win tickets by listening to commercial radio. What a bummer. I mean, woo-hoo! I feel lucky! I'm going to call in and be the "correct" caller, just me and no one else.

The Decline of Western Civilization is a 1981 American documentary filmed through 1979 and 1980. The movie is about the Los Angeles punk rock scene and was directed by Penelope Spheeris.
In 1981, the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) Chief Daryl Gates wrote a letter demanding the film not be shown again in the city [1].
The film is the opening act of a trilogy by Spheeris, depicting music scenes in Los Angeles in the late 20th century.
The second film, The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years (1988), covers the Los Angeles heavy metal scene of 1987–1988.
