Trump is mad. Mayor Mamdani may be the new "kingmaker" of New York City politics. In a sweeping affirmation of his affordability-focused agenda, all three congressional candidates endorsed by Mamdani in a set of contested Democratic primary elections declared victory last night (Tuesday, June 23, 2026). Manhattan and the Bronx’s Darializa Avila Chevalier and Brooklyn’s Claire Valdez and Brad Lander were all joined on the campaign trail by the progressive NYC mayor in the weeks leading up to election night.
I blended the footage with digital audio from their album and made this fan video from live footage of the band as well as post-gig footage at Oki Dog in Hollywood, Los Angeles, all shot by Dave Markey.
Dave Markey of We Got Power Films, drummer of Sin 34, was very ambitious and always carried a movie camera and film with him back then. And from the footage he shot, he made some short films and the punkumentary The SLOG Movie, featuring a number of SoCal bands including Sin 34.

Manjushri (Sanskrit š«šššš¼š°ššš», Romanized MaƱjuÅrÄ«) is a bodhisattva who represents transcendental wisdom (prajƱÄ) of the "Cosmic Buddhas" [like Vairocana] in MahÄyÄna Buddhism.
The name "MaƱjuÅrÄ«" is a combination of Sanskrit word maƱju and the honorific -ÅhrÄ«. It can therefore be literally translated as "Beautiful One with Glory" or "Beautiful One with Auspiciousness."
MaƱjuÅrÄ« is also known by the fuller name of MaƱjuÅrÄ«-kumÄra-bhÅ«ta (ą¤®ą¤्ą¤ुą¤¶्ą¤°ीą¤ुą¤®ाą¤°ą¤ूą¤¤) [1], literally "MaƱjuÅrÄ«, Still a Youth" or, less literally, "Youthful Prince MaƱjuÅrÄ«." Another name of MaƱjuÅrÄ« is MaƱjughÅį¹£a.
In MahÄyÄna Buddhism
Scholars have identified MaƱjuÅrÄ« as the oldest and most significant bodhisattva in MahÄyÄna Buddhist literature [2]. Notable traits of MaƱjuÅhrÄ« include: More
AnattÄ: "not-self," "non-self," "non-ego," "egolessness," "selflessness," "soullessness," the fact that ultimately all is "impersonal" is the last and most difficult of the three fetters or wrong views to cut.
It is one of the Universal Characteristics of All Existence (ti-lakkhana). The anattÄ doctrine taught by the historical Buddha is that neither within the bodily and mental phenomena of existence (the Five Aggregates clung to as self: form, feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness), nor outside of them, can there be found anything that in the ultimate sense can ever be regarded as a self or independently-existing real ego-entity, soul, self, or any other abiding essence, substance, or atman.
This is the central doctrine of Buddhism, without the understanding of which any real knowledge of Buddhism is altogether impossible.
It is the only really specific Buddhist doctrine, with which the entire structure of the Buddhist Teaching (Dharma, Dhamma) stands or falls.
All the remaining Buddhist doctrines might, more or less, be found in other philosophical systems or religions, but the anattÄ-doctrine is only clearly and unreservedly taught by the Buddha (or buddhas before him), wherefore the Buddha is known as the anattÄ-vÄdi, or "Teacher of Egolessness."
Whoever has not penetrated this impersonal characteristic of all existence and does not comprehend that in reality there exists only this continually self-consuming process of arising and passing bodily and mental phenomena, that there is no separate ego-entity within or without this process, that person will not be able to understand Buddhism, that is, the teaching of the Four Ennobling (Enlightening) Truths (sacca) in the correct light.
One will think that it is one's ego or personality that experiences suffering, one's person that performs good and harmful karma and will be reborn according to those actions, one's personality that will enter into nirvana, one's personality that practices the Ennobling Eightfold Path. More

(Atomic Video Jukebox, 5/10/21) Wasted Youth performs "Problem Child" back in the day of LA's punk rock scene. We first heard Wasted Youth on Rodney Bingenheimer's KROQ FM show "Rodney on the ROQ" in 1981 and immediately went out and bought their album, Reagan's In, and wore it out over time.
We first saw them in early 1982 at the Hollywood Palladium when they played with TSOL, Adolescents, Social Distortion, Youth Brigade, and others. It was an amazing show with lots of stage diving before venues banned that. AVJ made this video from live footage of the band as well as post gig footage at Oki Dogs in LA all shot by Dave Markey.
The footage is married with digital audio from the album.
David Markey, the drummer of Sin 34, was very ambitious and always carried a movie camera and reels film with him back then. From the footage he shot, he made some short films and the punkumentary The SLOG Movie featuring a number of SoCal bands including his own Sin 34. This video uses his footage shot for the slog movie.
