As America's most beloved holiday Halloween fast approaches (and adults prepare for all kinds of kink) and children dream of sugar and more sugar, years of television programming (mind control) inclines the mind to the morbid, gory, and unspeakable. This is the only time of year to even attempt to speak of such things. Horror in the movies is one thing; in real life, it's quite another. It isn't Halloween's fault. Nor can we blame Obon, Samhain, the Day of the Dead, or other cultural commemorations of the departed and all this ghostly, ghastly, and frightful.
