Hasbara (Hebrew הַסְבָּרָה) is pro-Jewish
Zionism PROPAGANDA that Israel euphemistically call "public diplomacy." It includes mass communication, monetary influence, individual interaction with foreign nationals through social and traditional media, and cultural diplomacy. Organizations involved include the genocidally militant IDF and its Spokesperson's Unit, the National Public Diplomacy Directorate at the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and pro-Israel civil society organizations (think
AIPAC). Zionist organizations historically called such efforts propaganda but found that name too revealing so have encoded it with a Hebrew term,
wink-wink.
