Get back to campus! We got our agents in there, started some fights, and we're shutting it down!
Witness recalls UCLA chaos, as pro-Israel thugs lobbed bombs and bear spray at UCLA students camped out in peaceful demonstration: An agent provocateur pretext for LAPD to crackdown?
Criminal Dictator Netanyahu must be removed.
(FOX 11 Los Angeles) May 1, 2024: A Black witness, Felicia, from the community saw the violent attacks on students erupt at UCLA overnight. She shares her experience with Good Day LA's Gigi Graciette and FOX 11 LA (a local station that is not Fox News).

Agent provocateur: When the LAPD or other police agency sends in false flag agents and operative (plain clothes policeman, turncoats trying to avoid charges, or spies) to do something that they can then blame on peaceful protesters to justify a violent crackdown on peaceful demonstrators. It is an old trick often used in the 1960s' anti-war movement opposing the US War on Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
This isn't about race/culture but greed and war.
One could imagine wealthy Jews for Israel giving the police what they need, an excuse to shut down the pro-Palestine demonstration at UCLA, so close to massive Jewish enclaves in Los Angeles. This is humiliating for them to have Jews against Zionism, against genocide, against Israel. It cannot be allowed to stand with all of this media attention.
After all, this is foremost a war of propaganda so that Israel can commit mass murder and genocide in Gaza.
It is also possible that donors and movers-and-shakers urged the LAPD and nearby FBI (whose offices are a few blocks away on Wilshire Blvd.) "to do something." And this is the old trick LAPD's spying arm came up with: Send in hired agent provocateurs to create a pretext (a justification) to shut it down. Students will blame other students and community members, and no one will notice that the police are behind it.
The exact same thing happened repeated during the Occupy Movement to subvert and sabotage peaceful protests, when someone noticed the police-protestors made the mistake of wearing the same police shoes they wear on duty. These agent provocateurs do not need to be on-duty policeman, though they often are. They wear masks, they're buff, and not hippies or hipsters or students at all. They often have short hair and are violent neo-Nazi types. Their job is to stir up mayhem.
I have illegal ways to control you, so you WILL respect my authority. By law we cops can riot.
WARNING: One of the most popular tactics and services they perform for police is to infiltrate the open-access demonstration and throw a water bottle, sometimes an empty one, at police, who then use this as a pretext, an excuse, to declare the whole thing an "unlawful assembly," making everyone in the area immediately subject to violent arrest. This might sound fair to people on the outside looking in until they find out that while the demonstrators are given orders to disperse, they are kettled in and blocked from doing so exactly so they can be identified, arrested, tagged, monitored, filmed, and prosecuted for any fictitious or real felony the police can dream up. A person will be in court for years trying to clear their name, while the police sit around, laugh, and collect payment for an illegal job well done.
[Staged] chaos at UCLA after fights break out during anti-Israel protests
(New York Post) May 1, 2024: Wild video shows the moment pro-genocide counter-protests on campus spiraled out of control overnight on April 30, 2024. Fights against students broke out and deadly firecracker bombs were thrown at the students' makeshift tent encampments.
It's just like the 1960s. We will not fund Israel!
The commotion broke out at UCLA in Westwood (West Los Angeles) after several outside agitators attempted to break down barricades protecting the students and their encampment on campus.
Explosives were then thrown toward a barrier set up by campus police, sending multiple people peaceful demonstrators for cover.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass condemned all of the protesters (not just the violent pro-Israel counter-protestors) before announcing she was sending in the paramilitary LAPD, who were being called in to smash the demonstration in the name of "quelling the chaos."

Heroic Daniel refusing to eat at the king's table of corrupt foods, early 1900s Bible illustration
.
Can Catholics be pure, too?
In Christianity, the Daniel Fast is a partial fast in which one avoids all meat, dairy, alcohol, and other rich things favor of vegetables and water in order to be more sensitive to God [1, 2, 3].
The fast is based on the lifelong kosher diet of the Jewish hero Daniel in the biblical Book of Daniel and the three-week mourning fast in which Daniel abstained from all meat and wine.
Among Catholic and Mainline Protestant Christians, the Daniel Fast has been practiced by some during the 40-day season of Lent [1, 2, 4], though the Daniel Fast can variously be set at three weeks [1] or even ten days.
Are females allowed to fast like Daniel?
As such, evangelical Christian churches such as those of the Baptist tradition, have partaken in the fast at various times of the year [2, 5].
The passage in Chapter 1 refers to a 10-day test wherein Daniel and others with him were permitted to eat vegetables and water to avoid the Babylonian king's corrupting food and wine.
After remaining healthy at the end of the 10-day period, they continued the vegetable diet for the three years of their education. The passage in Chapter 10 refers to a three-week fast of no meat, wine, or decadent food [6].
In addition to the practices of fasting and abstinence undertaken during the Daniel Fast, Christians may also add spiritual disciplines such as daily church attendance, increased prayer [including the lost mode of prayer known as the Isaiah Effect], as well as the reading of sacred scriptures and a daily devotional [1].
Description
There's so much good food to eat and purifying water to drink!
According to those who encourage this form of fasting, the aim is to refrain from eating what are described in Daniel as "royal foods" including meats and wine.
Instead, a superior (more spiritual and healthier) diet consists only of vegetables and water. "Pulses" is used instead of "vegetables" in some translations [6]. "Pulses" in this context is often taken as "food grown from seed," including fruit, vegetables, or lentils.

Is it time for a veggie BBQ, cold soft drinks under a hot sun, and a comfy lawn chair to watch the fireworks show? Ah, North America, the US of A, knows how to party. It's like Cinco de Mayo, which is not any kind of Independence Day but still a time for patriotism and intemperate celebration. In Alameda, it once seemed like a good idea to have a parade. Then it was time to grill, first Buddha's Delight then some seared tempeh strips with BBQ sauce, and finally Buddha Bowls for everyone.
4th of July fireworks show still on in Lancaster in defiance of California governor
Mayor Rex Parris said Lancaster still plans to put on a 2020 Fourth of July show Saturday at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds. Brittney Hopper reports.
Why all the illegal fireworks this year?
Why fireworks are popping up in states where they're illegal There has been a mysterious surge in illegal fireworks across the country, from densely populated cities to suburbs where fireworks are equally illegal.
New Yorkers fed up with their city’s failure to curb the thousands of noisy fireworks being set off each night surrounded the mayor’s mansion last night. Protesters honked their car horns to awaken the mayor to show him what they’ve been living through. Some suspect fireworks are being brought across state lines from places with more relaxed laws. Los Angeles is suffering like never before, with weeks of night bombardment as police do nothing, not even drive around or set up posts looking for perpetrators.
Disney live stream of 4th of July fireworks
The parks are closed, and there are no fireworks this year, but let's watch tons of fireworks from past July 4th streams as well as many other streams and videos that featured amazing Disney fireworks.
Racist Trump defends monuments in divisive Mount Rushmore speech
Pres. Trump kicked off the holiday weekend with an Independence Day super-spreader "celebration" at Mount Rushmore Friday (the 3rd of July), after Native Americans (Sioux, Oglala, Lakota, and others) who demonstrated were arrested when they blocked a road leading to the racist monument to disrupt Trump's nearly all-White rally. Despite the advice of doctors and the White House Coronavirus Task Force, Don and the First Lady refused to wear masks at the social event. Nikole Killion reports on the national embarrassment's fiery remarks and teleprompter rhetoric.
Adding Trump to Mount Rushmore?
Imagine what life would be like if Don Jesus Trump were added to Mount Rushmore alongside other prominent racists and slave drivers George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. (Starring: Anthony Atamanuik, Fred Armisen, Bobby Moynihan, Jeff Ross, and Jimmy Kimmel).

Diwali: The Festival of Lights
(Wild Films India) Diwali is one of the biggest, brightest, and most important festivals in India. Diwali is popularly known as the "Festival of Lights." The celebration of the "victory of good over evil" refers to the light of higher knowledge dispelling ignorance.
Although the story behind Diwali and the manner of it celebration differs greatly depending on the region, the essence of the festival remains the same: the celebration of life, its enjoyment, and its goodness.
The Hindi word Diwali is derived from the Sanskrit term Deepavali, which translates as "rows of lamps." Based on the Hindu lunar calendar, Diwali falls between October and November on an Amavasya or "moonless night." The festival is associated with the legend of the Hindu god Ram's return to his kingdom, Ayodhya, after 14 years in exile.
The demon-king Ravan of Lanka had abducted Lord Ram's consort Sita only to invite his own death as a result. Lord Ram, along with his brother Laxman and an army of monkeys, defeated then killed the demon king and returned to the kingdom with Sita.
According to mythology the people of Ayodhya lit up clay lamps known as diyas to welcome him on his return from exile.
Diwali is a five-day affair and kicks off on the first day with Dhanteras. Dhan means "wealth," hence this day is considered auspicious for buying items related to prosperity like utensils or gold. Vijay and his family also plan to buy something in keeping with the customs of Dhanteras.
The day after Dhanteras is known as Narak Chaudas or Choti Diwali. In short, the second day is Diwali on a smaller scale, with fewer rituals. Hindus get up before dawn, clean their houses, take a fragrant bath, and dress up in festive clothes. Vijay and his family follow suit; they decorate their house with much excitement to invite Goddess Lakshmi. The whole family rejoices on the occasion by singing aartis or religious hymns while they take part in the puja or devotional ritual.
The third day of the festival, known as Lakshmi Puja, is the main Diwali celebration. This day is devoted to Goddess Lakshmi (Laxmi), the goddess of wealth and Lord Ganesh, the lord of auspicious beginnings and the remover of obstacles. Devotees worship them seeking prosperity and wealth.
Govardhan Puja is the fourth day of the Diwali festival. In some parts of India this day is also known as Annakoot. Legend says that Lord Indra (Sakka), the Hindu god of rain and the king of the gods in Buddhism, once got angry with the people of the land of Gokul, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. To punish the villagers, the rain god poured endless rain, flooding the village. However, Lord Krishna came to the rescue of the village and sheltered the villagers under Govardhan Hill by lifting the entire hill onto his little finger, thereby saving the villagers and their livestock. Since then this day is celebrated to thank Lord Krishna.
This day is also known as Padwa in some parts of the country when people visit friends and family with gifts and goodies. Vijay's family has a tradition celebrating this day: The women of the family and neighborhood make a cow dung hillock to perform the day's ritual. The hillock is built symbolizing Govardhan Hill then decorated with flowers and other elements. The men pay obeisance to this symbolic hillock by circling around it and singing religious songs. Vijay and Vishal join the prayers.
Bhai Dooj marks the end of the five days of Diwali. The festival of lights has so many rituals and traditions that it is also called the festival of sweets, gifts, fireworks, and family.

We celebrate for two weeks, so you have time.
Happy Chinese New Year! One of the world's most colorful and exuberant events is here and is triggering celebrations across the map.
Unlike Western New Year festivities, which always take place at midnight between December 31 and January 1, Chinese New Year varies each year. Here's all the information.
When is Chinese New Year 2018?
2018 is the "Year of the Dog"
The 2018 Chinese New Year began on Friday, Feb. 16, and celebrations will last for over two weeks.
Chinese New Year takes place on a different date each year because it is based on the lunar calendar. New Year's Day normally falls between January 21 and February 20.
Chinese families gather together for a reunion dinner on New Year's Eve and clean their houses to sweep away bad fortune on New Year's Day.
[WARNING! There are many Chinese superstitions on what to do and what to avoid at this important time of year. Clean on the right day...]
Be lucky. Be superstitious. Be faux-Chinese.
Traditionally, kids would be given red envelopes stuffed with "lucky money" and positive wishes on New Year's Day.
Some teens now have red envelope apps, so their relatives can transfer cash digitally.

According to Asian astrology, our year of birth -- and the animal this represents -- determines a lot about our personality traits.
Although each of the 12 animals gets an outing every dozen years, there are different varieties -- and 2018 will be the first Year of the Earth Dog since 1958.
