Buddhist David Bowie 'My Way' vs. 'Life OM?'

Sex Pistols' Sid Vicious sings Sinatra's "My Way"

"Life on Mars?" is a song by the Vajrayana Buddhist British musician David Bowie, first released on his 1971 album Hunky Dory.

Conceived as a parody of Frank Sinatra's "My Way" [which was more directly mocked by Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols], "Life on Mars?" was recorded on 6 August 1971 at Trident Studios in London, and was co-produced by Bowie and Ken Scott.

Bowie's Buddhist influences: life as a monk

David Bowie’s Buddhist Master
The track features piano by the keyboardist Rick Wakeman and a string arrangement by the guitarist Mick Ronson. "Life on Mars?" is primarily a glam rock ballad, with elements of cabaret and art rock. The lyrics are about a girl who goes to a cinema to escape reality and include surreal images that reflect optimism and the effects of Hollywood.

Bowie the Buddhist :)
In June 1973, at the height of Bowie's fame as Ziggy Stardust, RCA Records issued "Life on Mars?" as a single in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number three. To promote the single, Mick Rock filmed a video that shows Bowie in make-up and a turquoise suit singing the song against a white backdrop.

Bowie frequently performed "Life on Mars?" during his concerts, and the track has appeared on numerous compilation albums. Commentators generally consider "Life on Mars?" to be one of Bowie's finest songs and one of the greatest songs of all time. More: Life on Mars? (Wiki feature)

Life inside China's 'Heavenly Palace'

Alleged photo of TSS Heavenly Palace (CGI?)
Tiangong
(Chinese 天宫, Pinyin Tiāngōng, lit. "Heavenly Palace") [5][6], officially the Tiangong Space Station [7] (Chinese 天宫空间站, Pinyin Tiāngōng Kōngjiānzhàn), is a permanently crewed space station constructed by China and operated by China Manned Space Agency [8].

Tiangong is a modular design, with pieces docked together while in low Earth orbit, between 210 and 280 miles (340 and 450 kms) above the surface of Planet Earth.

Modules of the Heavenly Palace (TSS)
It is China's first long-term space station, part of the Tiangong program and the core of the "Third Step" of the China Manned Space Program. It has a pressurized volume of 12,000 cubic feet (340 m3), slightly over one-third the size of the US's International Space Station.

Tiangong Space Station aims to provide opportunities for space-based experiments and a platform for building capacity for scientific and technological innovation [9] far in excess of Europe, the US, or any other human efforts on the planet currently. More

Buddhist Pyramids of Thailand: Si Thep

Africa has poster children of prototypical earthling pyramids (and on exoplanets like Mars)

Praveen Mohan fresh from The Cosmic Summit is on the trail of pyramids in deeply Theravada Buddhist Thailand, ancient Siam, in Southeast Asia. There is much to see in this friendly country. Here's a list of world heritage sites in Thailand. Today, we're exploring Si Thep Historical Park. There's already a massive Buddhist temple in Indonesia (Java), declared the largest excavated Buddhist temple in the world, called Borobudur. There's a much larger and older pyramid in Indonesia, one the size of a mountain. Now, science says humans did not build it. And science still can't wrap its head around the possibly more massive pyramids of Bosnia.

(Fringe Field Notes) Bosnian pyramids, cruel hoax or the real thing?

China hides many pyramids. And what country has the most number of pyramids? No, it's not Egypt. It might be Mexico/Mesoamerica when all is said and done, but the current count it is Nubia, modern Sudan.

Gayest Breakup in Billionaire History?

Elana vs. Donna? Prof. Quinn Slobodian on the risks of billionaire (oligarch) rule

Why choose June for all this drama, Donna?
(Democracy Now!) June 6, 2025: Is the Donna Trump-Elana Musk bromance finally over?

Pres. Trumpy is threatening to cut off billions of dollars in federal contracts from Musky after the two multi-billionaires engaged in a dramatic public feud just days after manly Musk called hypocrite Trump's ["big beautiful"] budget bill a "disgusting abomination."

Bill Gates was best buddies with Jeffrey "Pedo Island" Epstein?

Hey, Diddy, happy Donut Day! Are you gettin out? - Yeah, Trump's pardonin me! - Woo-hoo!
.
Musky appeared to call for and promise to back the impeachment of Trump and claimed the current president is named in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

"They are people who always have their eye on the bottom line, but they also are, obviously, titanically sized egos," says author Quinn Slobodian, professor of international history at Boston University, who is working on a new book about Elon Musk.

"This is just a sign of how dangerous it is to put…the whole future of the American economy and the political scene in the hands of two sole [and very unstable and not too bright] human beings."

US has already sent people to Mars (WF)

Let's return to Mars, where there are no politics (for now), for the future of the exoplanet will be as it was. Rest assured, there is life on Mars, and the US government knows it and has known it for a long time.

.
For information and pictorial evidence of life and artifacts on Mars, see Richard C. Hoagland and his Enterprise Mission. Though he has sounded the alarm for years, the mainstream media now systematically ignores him. He used to be one of them. Much of his evidence comes from NASA photographs released in bulk. As soon as anyone spots an anomaly, archeology, or evidence of life on the planet, NASA scrubs the image. But Hoagland has copies of their original release.

Curiosity Rover found life on Mars?

.
On the barren, cold expanses of Mars, a discovery has rocked the scientific world. The recent Mars rover unmanned mission has uncovered mud formations that tell tales of wet and dry spells spanning millions of years.

Could this revelation enhance the argument for life having existed on Mars? According to the research paper titled "Sustained wet-dry cycling on early Mars" published in the prestigious peer-reviewed journal Nature, the answer looks promising.

The Hexagonal Clues

At the core of this breakthrough is the discovery of distinctive hexagonal patterns. These shapes, as scientists understand them, emerge when regions experience extended periods of wetness followed by prolonged dryness.

While it's been acknowledged that Mars holds remnants of dried rivers, lakes, and even seas -- a testament to its once wet environment -- the finding that Mars underwent wet-dry cycles multiple times potentially revolutionizes our understanding of the planet's past and its suitability for life.

Basiago told us all about it, as did Enterprise Mission Hoagland, and the NASA photos before being smudged, scrubbed, and deleted. The humanoid life is now underground because of the atmosphere, but it is inhabited. And it may also have interdimensional beings, too.]
William Rapin, the lead researcher of the study and a distinguished scientist at the French National Center for Scientific Research in Toulouse, France, commented, “We now have for the first time vestiges of times that could have been conducive to the origin of life.” More: NASA's Curiosity Rover may have found evidence of life on Mars

Science: Life on Mars, ocean found, gases

Unveiling Mars: The Mysterious Ruins and the Quest for Ancient Life (MSN)
(Popular Mechanics) In its ancient past, Mars likely contained many of the necessary ingredients for microbial life to flourish on its surface. Now, a new discovery by NASA’s Perseverance rover shows a trifecta of compelling evidence — including the presence of water, organic compounds, and a chemical energy source — all on one rock located in the Jezero Crater.
Although this is the best clue yet that microbial life existed on Mars, there are still other explanations that could explain account for this geologic display without the existence of microbes.

“Is there life on Mars” is a question that has vexed astrobiologists and [Buddhist rockstar] David Bowie [who almost became a Vajrayana Buddhist monk rather than a human-alien hybrid pop singer] alike.

Playing with reptilian monsters on earth

While the latter imagined some macabre collection of arachnids on the Red Planet [Spiders on Mars], NASA scientists are fixated on finding evidence that microbial life once flourished on the fourth rock from the Sun.

They are so fixated, in fact, that the space agency has spent more than $5 billion getting two immensely complicated robotic rovers — Curiosity and Perseverance — onto the Martian surface with this specific microbial mission in mind.

Now, one of those rovers might have discovered one of the most compelling pieces of evidence for Martian microbial life.
Located on an arrowhead-shaped, three-foot-long rock nicknamed “Cheyava Falls” in the Jezero Crater (the 28-mile-wide crater that Perseverance has called home for the past three years), this “piece of evidence” is actually a trifecta of data points that suggest the presence of past microbial life.

The rock in question features two vertical veins of calcium sulfate that likely formed from past water, and these stripes both flank a red band of rock filled with “leopard spots.”

NASA has discovered evidence of past water on Mars before, but it’s this narrow band of rock that brings new meaning to this discovery.

Using its SHERLOC (Scanning Habitable Environments with Raman & Luminescence for Organics & Chemicals) and PIXL (Planetary Instrument for X-Ray Lithochemistry) instruments, Perseverance determined the existence of organic compounds within the rock.

What's in Area 51, Groom Lake, Dreamland?

Oh, and those “leopard spots?” Those likely indicate chemical reactions that could’ve supplied energy to ancient microbial Martians.

While each of these discoveries — the presence of water, organic compounds, and chemical reactions — would be notable even if discovered separately, NASA has never seen all three in one location, meaning the geological chemistry of Cheyava Falls is possibly our best clue yet that Mars once hosted life. Life discovered on Mars (again)

Mars: Newly released images by NASA's Curiosity Rover
NASA's Mars Rover Curiosity discovered these mysterious structures like ancient walls on the surface of Mars. Learn more about the possibility of life on Mars -- which has become a certainty with the discovery of fossilized life embedded in rock samples, this is not the first time this has been announced nor studied scientifically. But the disclosure process is slow and needs official sanctioning for it to be announced in such a way that it will not be retracted as it has been so many times in the past, even when Roswell happened. The military admitted it, only to say the next day it made a mistake. It actually didn't happen. What we said was a downed flying saucer and recovered bodies, "Oopsy, our bad. That was just a weather balloon. Sorry."

Moon was brought here, has glass dome

I'm an old crank with digestive aggravation.
Richard C. Hoagland is a crank, a pontificating, loudmouth idiot, but he's met his match in Coast to Coast Host George Noory, perhaps the only voice on talk radio dumber than himself. Nevertheless, he's onto something as he tries to do science on the moon from the surface of the earth, with pre-doctored NASA photos and those from other agencies visiting earth's nearest satellite.

I don't dye, get plastic surgery, or have a disease
In an attempt to be a super-scientist and completely objective, he only goes on the data. And the data (mainly that large cache of photos released before being pulled for showing too much and the re-released as worthless coverups) shows that there is a large glass dome, a firmament over the moon. Glass is stronger on the moon due to its atmosphere or lack thereof, plus it is strengthened by another substrate in this very thick glass.

The dome is now full of holes like "Swiss cheese," Hoagland claims. That is how vehicles are able to land on it. But they often fail because most are not told about its dome. Except, the Indians knew it and took polarized lenses on their cameras to make it safely to the surface. Israel, not so much, breaking off an engine in the attempt. His conclusions and speculations will not make sense to anyone who does not examine the evidence.
Coast to Coast guest (3/20/24) Richard C. Hoagland shares a set of images and captions to accompany his presentation related to the Odysseus lunar mission. View enlarged images (PDF).

Pictured above: 1) Odysseus spacecraft wide-angle image composite from a few miles above the Moon, taken as the spacecraft was landing. Note the strange, repeating sets of "curvilinear structures" in the lunar sky -- IMPOSSIBLE for any "NASA model" of the Moon. More

Bowie on Buddhism, ETs, art: Life on Mars

David Bowie talks the internet, Buddhism, and space aliens | MTV
(MTV News) In this full MTV News 1997 interview, superstar David Bowie (davidbowie.com) discusses how the internet and Buddhism guides his work.

On second thought, I shoulda become a monk
As a teen, he intended to become a Buddhist monk, a lama in a Vajrayana temple in Europe, but his rinpoche saw that he was more interested in music and was better off pursuing his art rather than cloistering himself in a temple, which would have certainly helped him more in life while depriving the world of his songs. But he pursued an interest in Zen until a Zen master in Kyoto told him that [organized] religion is over and that it [the future] lies in the [visual and musical] arts. Are there aliens [other beings such as devas] in space? Bowie's interest is not in the hardware of UFOs, the corporeal reality of such beings, but rather their existence only ever represented spiritual search, more a metaphor for the otherness, isolation, and alienation. "But the idea, 'Is there life on Mars?' I could care less."

Secret Space: lied to by NASA about it all

MSN.com NASA confirms that aliens exist...; Eds., Wisdom Quarterly COMMENTARY

5. A new resolve to look within solar system
In the past, the search for extraterrestrial life has allowed astronomers and scientists to probe way beyond the range of manned space missions and outside of this solar system. However, in recent times, astrobiologists have beamed their searchlights inwards to bodies inside the solar system that have been previously written off. Jupiter was said to be a ball of gas. But its moon, Europa, now shows prospects of life. More

COMMENTARY
Nothing can violate the laws of physics, unless we find or-reverse engineer alien tech.

Well, OK, somethings sometimes violate the laws of physics, but we don't know about that.

This desktop globe is not levitating. It looks like it's levitating, but levitation is a myth.

If India believes in UFOs called vimanas or "immeasurable spacecraft," they're dreaming.
.
The only person who shed light on what was really going on was John Lear, now deceased. He was a pilot who flew for the CIA. His father invented the Lear Jet. And he had many acquaintances in the military-industrial complex and in covert spying agencies. They told him, he claimed, that there were about 42 platforms in space that we the US visited and supplied. Rather than thinking there are this many known planets (plus one or two others, that are not admitted to, like Nibiru and Rahu), there are many moons or satellites, asteroids, comets, motherships, comets, debris piles, portals, wormholes, vimanas (palaces), and spaceships of all descriptions, including our artificial hollow moon and that dog star planet. Lear did not specify nor argue the point. He made the famous statement, "NASA doesn't like about some things. It's all a lie." Everything we're told about space is untrue. Was Lear right? A movie about Lear was to come out but it seems to have just gone away. And now he's dead.
