Doubt as hindrance and teacher in Buddhism
(Doug's Dharma) What did the Buddha have to say about "doubt" (vicikiccha), one of the Five Hindrances to meditation and spiritual progress?

Let's look at the ways doubt can be a hindrance to our progress along the path to enlightenment and liberation, as well as a steppingstone to advancement.

Consider that there are ways that doubt can be overcome, noting two key examples of this in the Early Buddhist texts.
