Tiangong (Chinese 天宫, Pinyin Tiāngōng, lit. "Heavenly Palace") [5][6], officially the Tiangong Space Station [7] (Chinese 天宫空间站, Pinyin Tiāngōng Kōngjiānzhàn), is a permanently crewed space station constructed by China and operated by China Manned Space Agency [8].

Tiangong is a modular design, with pieces docked together while in low Earth orbit, between 210 and 280 miles (340 and 450 kms) above the surface of Planet Earth.

The space agency adds that this updated lab model with ultra-realistic lighting and terrain closely simulates lunar conditions. Scientists now have two major types of lunar surfaces at their disposal to help train future robots, rovers, and astronauts traveling to the real Moon’s polar regions.

But then they saw what the Japanese had built with government support to land on the moon and rove around. They were abashed, so they bragged about future plans for their next project after conquering the Moon.

"What's that?" the Japanese scientists asked the Americans, curious about getting to the next celestial body. "Mars, Venus?"

 "The Sun!" the Americans boasted.

The Japanese were dumbfounded at America's great boldness.

"But how," one Japanese engineer inquired, "will you overcome the heat?"

The American team scoffed, "Ha, that's easy! We'll be landing at night."

The Japanese team giggled behind the American team's back, "We'll concentrate on the Moon."

"Whatever," the U.S. team dismissed the other science teams, "we've already conquered the Moon! We can do it again easy. We have Elon Musk!"

The private capitalist company Intuitive Machines -- backed by NASA technology, boosted by Elon Musk's private SpaceX Corporation launcher -- has failed miserably in its propaganda campaign of pretending to land on the moon a second time 52 years after putting the USSR to shame with fake footage of a first landing. What can we do? I know! Let's throw more money at the problem. That fixes everything. Who cares that everyone is trying to claim the lunar surface or that the Earth's satellite is hollow, watery, and full of enslaved beings! We're cleared to take the surface, if we can get to it. And Eric Dubay says we can't, even if it's actually very close and smaller than we've been told.

China lands on "dark" side of the moon

BEIJING, China - The Chinese rover on the "dark" side of the moon is making its tracks on the soft lunar surface.

The Jade Rabbit 2 rover drove off its lander's ramp and onto the soft, snow-like surface at 10:22 p.m. Thursday, about 12 hours after a Chinese spacecraft made the first-ever landing on the moon's far side.

A photo posted online by China's space agency showed tracks the rover left as headed away from the spacecraft.

 

"It's a small step for the rover, but one giant leap for the Chinese nation," Wu Weiren, the chief designer of the Lunar Exploration Project, told state broadcaster CCTV. "This giant leap is a decisive move for our exploration of space and the conquering of the universe."

 

Exploring the cosmos from the far side of the moon could eventually help scientists learn more about the early days of the solar system and even the birth of the universe's first stars. The far side can't be seen from Earth and is popularly called the "dark side" because it is relatively unknown, not because it lacks sunlight.

 

Three nations — the United States, the former Soviet Union, and more recently China — have sent spacecraft to the near side of the moon, but the latest landing is the first on the far side. That side has been observed many times from lunar orbit but never up close.

Chinese government plans to launch new moon into orbit

Ah, a new moon in the sky reflecting

China is reportedly planning to launch an "artificial moon" in the next couple of years, designed to light up the night sky over the country.

And when we say launch, we mean LAUNCH! The mini-moon will be launched over 300 miles above Earth's surface and could shine eight times brighter than the actual Moon (Soma, Luna, Chandra).
 
Location-wise, the new moon will hang over Chengdu, the capital of China’s southwestern Sichuan province.

The "artificial moon" itself will have a reflective coating and mirrors to reflect sunlight back to Earth -- but this moon's light can be focused to light up specific areas.

Officials say it could conserve energy by replacing streetlights, thereby saving 1.2 billion yuan ($173 million) in costs annually and provide emergency lighting in cases of natural disasters and blackouts.

 

The new moon is expected to launch in 2020.  If it's successful, three more could be launched by 2022. Read more at Time.com

JIUQUAN (Reuters) - China is sending its first woman into outer space this weekend, prompting a surge of national pride as the rising power takes another step toward putting a space station in orbit within the decade. 

   

Liu Yang, a 33-year-old fighter pilot, will join two other astronauts aboard the Shenzhou 9 spacecraft when it lifts off from a remote Gobi Desert launch site on Saturday evening (6:37 pm Beijing time, 6:37 am ET).

   

They will attempt a crew-controlled docking for the first time with the uncrewed Tiangong 1 module, which was launched last September as part of China's exploratory preparations for a space lab. The module is now orbiting 213 miles (343 km) above Earth.

   

Rendezvous and docking exercises between the two vessels will be an important hurdle in China's efforts to acquire the technological and logistical skills needed to run a full space lab that can house astronauts for long stretches.

  

China's aspirations

Last October, China launched a robotic Shenzhou 8 module that successfully performed a remote-controlled docking with Tiangong 1 ("Heavenly Palace") in preparation for this month's crewed mission. Space program spokeswoman Wu Ping told reporters that Shenzhou 9 would make two dockings with Tiangong 1 -- the first by remote control, and the second under manual control. More

The devas await the coming of good and generous beings the way relatives await the return of one long absent. When good ones die, they are welcomed joyously in the abodes of the devas." returns home safely from a distance

is welcomed with joy by relatives,
friends, and well-wishers on returning.

These beings should not be confused with racist white humans claiming a divine rite of rule or neo-Nazi white supremacy. That lives on in America, which like a handful of other nations imported many scientists from Nazi Germany to carry on their military research and imperial agenda.

What the aliens have told all rulers was that by breeding with them, they were being endowed with the right to conquer and rule, leading to the creation of empire after empire in the world's history.

BEIJING -- Buddhists in space are back on earth. Three Chinese astronauts emerged from their capsule Sunday after a milestone mission to carry out the country's first spacewalk, showing off China's technological know-how and cementing its status as a space power and future competitor to the United States.

A senior space official said the mission — China's most ambitious yet — took the country one step closer in its plan to build a space station and then to land a man on the moon. Wang Zhaoyao, deputy director of manned space flight, said the program is looking to launch a new orbiting vehicle and set up a simple space lab by 2011. There are also hopes of sending unmanned and manned space vehicles to perform docking activities with the target vehicle.

BEIJING, China (CNN) -- A Chinese astronaut has completed his country's first ever spacewalk as part of an ambitious program that is starting to rival the United States and Russia in its rapid expansion. Zhai Zhigang waved to an external camera as he emerged from the hatch of the Shenzhou-7 spaceship on Saturday. He later held a small Chinese flag, waving it in space. Zhai returned to the interior of his capsule and closed the hatch after less than 20 minutes outside.

Fellow astronaut Liu Boming also emerged briefly from the capsule to hand Zhai the Chinese flag. The third crew member, Jing Haipeng, monitored the ship from inside the re-entry module. The three-man crew launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northern China's Inner Mongolia Thursday for a three-day mission, the highlight of which was Saturday's spacewalk.

China became the third country to send people into space in 2003, when military pilot Yang Liwei circled the earth for 21 hours.

Its second mission -- in 2005 -- had two crew members and lasted five days. The latest mission has dominated front pages of China's state-controlled media, knocking aside coverage of China's continuing scandal involving contaminated milk.
