NASA re-classified as a spy agency

Why did NASA (Never a Straight Answer) choose a snake's forked tongue for its logo?

NASA, the spy agency?
You want another arms race? Space race? - Both.
(POLITICO) Today [Sept. 26, 2025] we’re unpacking the space agency’s new classification as a national security organization, Lockheed’s plans in space, and more drama over the Discovery space shuttle’s future.

What do readers make of NASA’s rebrand? Send thoughts to adecker@politico.com, on X at @audrey_decker9, and Signal adecker.59. It’s Week 2 with new host, and I’m accepting any book recommendations on the history of NASA.
The Spotlight

NASA's Secret Relationships w/ DoD and CIA
The public has long viewed NASA as the better angel of America’s values, a peaceful institution dedicated to the exploration of the heavens. Not anymore.

The [Trump] White House in August quietly rebranded NASA as an intelligence and national security organization, a striking action that ties the space exploration agency closer to the defense [a euphemism for military-industrial complex] world.

While NASA’s basic functions are unlikely to change, the messaging shift could have cascading effects on how it interacts domestically and with U.S. allies.

Soft power: NASA operates a bit like a shadow diplomat [deceiving interlocutors]. While not explicitly aligned with the Pentagon or U.S. State Department, the [newly admitted spying] agency has used its collaborative global role to foster diplomacy and push the executive branch’s international priorities.
Why the rebrand?

Don't expose fake moon landing video footage!
The reclassification was in part tied to eliminating employee unions at NASA. The executive order ended the agency’s collective bargaining ability by designating its missions as national security work. Democrats are unhappy about it:

“NASA’s mission has always been the exploration of space, the advancement of science, and collaboration with international partners,” said Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), a former astronaut.

“It’s not [supposed to be] a spy agency. This executive order is just an attempt to strip NASA employees of their collective bargaining rights and compromises the trust and cooperation we’ve built globally that allows us to lead in space.” More

Life in space, in water, on Jupiter's Europa

V101 SPACE, 11/3//23; Pfc. Sandoval, Sheldon S., Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Life thrives in ocean trenches
We are officially "allowed" to think there is life out there in space. Here is the permission, allowed by the gatekeepers of the academy. The truth of the matter is that there's life everywhere in space. We're in space, on this planet, just floating out there over here, neither here nor there, wherever it is we are. It's not as if NASA tells us anything true. The official story is constantly changing. That's all we get. So this is no disclosure, just prep for the next headline. Consume with care.
Scientists think there could be LIFE on Europa and it’s even weirder than we thought!
"Weird" is in the eye of the beholder, Weirdo. Don't judge a living being by its cover. It feels.
.
Hi, Camera, would you like to be friends?
(V101 SPACE) Jupiter's moon, frozen Europa, has captivated the imaginations of scientists for decades. Why?

Below that thick layer of ice, a vast ocean has been discovered with potentially the correct ingredients for life as we know it.

Mermaids visited your planet. Where'd they go?
It is one of the most promising places in the solar system where life may have formed independently of Earth.

But how could life survive on such an extreme moon? And if it does exist there, what might it look like? Imagine the weird organisms as strange as deep-sea creatures here dining around hydrothermal vents like we have.

China lands on "dark" side of the moon

Associated Press (ap.org, Jan. 4, 2019); CC Liu, Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
By China National Space Administration via Xinhua News Agency, Yutu-2, China's lunar rover, leaves wheel marks after leaving the lander that touched down on the surface of the far side of the moon. A Chinese spacecraft on Thursday, Jan. 3, made the first-ever landing on the far side of the moon, state media said. The lunar explorer Chang'e 4 touched down at 10:26 a.m., China Central Television said in a brief announcement at the top of its noon news broadcast (China National Space Administration/Xinhua News Agency via AP).

.
BEIJING, China - The Chinese rover on the "dark" side of the moon is making its tracks on the soft lunar surface.

The Jade Rabbit 2 rover drove off its lander's ramp and onto the soft, snow-like surface at 10:22 p.m. Thursday, about 12 hours after a Chinese spacecraft made the first-ever landing on the moon's far side.

A photo posted online by China's space agency showed tracks the rover left as headed away from the spacecraft.
"It's a small step for the rover, but one giant leap for the Chinese nation," Wu Weiren, the chief designer of the Lunar Exploration Project, told state broadcaster CCTV. "This giant leap is a decisive move for our exploration of space and the conquering of the universe."

Exploring the cosmos from the far side of the moon could eventually help scientists learn more about the early days of the solar system and even the birth of the universe's first stars. The far side can't be seen from Earth and is popularly called the "dark side" because it is relatively unknown, not because it lacks sunlight.

Three nations — the United States, the former Soviet Union, and more recently China — have sent spacecraft to the near side of the moon, but the latest landing is the first on the far side. That side has been observed many times from lunar orbit but never up close.

The mission highlights China's growing ambitions to rival the U.S., Russia, and Europe in space and, more broadly, to cement its position as a regional and global power. More

Penumbral Lunar Eclipse with Harvest Full Moon

The Buddha (Haluzman/flickr)
After the solar eclipse another big celestial event is set to take place on Friday, September 16, 2016. On Friday, sky gazers will be treated to a penumbral lunar eclipse, which will coincide with the Harvest Moon.

The penumbral lunar eclipse, which will occur on Friday, is the last lunar eclipse of the year. This lunar eclipse will be different from the total eclipse, as it is coinciding with Harvest Moon. The lunar eclipse will be visible at 18:54 Universal Time (UTC) (2:54 am EDT/ 18:54 GMT). More

A penumbral lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the Earth's partial shadow, or penumbra. During this type of eclipse the Moon will darken slightly but not completely. The eclipse will be visible throughout most of Eastern Europe, Eastern Africa, Asia, and Western Australia.

The total duration of the eclipse is 3 hours and 59 minutes. The Moon is above the horizon during this eclipse, so with good weather conditions the entire eclipse will be visible. The lunar eclipse is also the last eclipse of 2016. Clips and images credit: ESO, ESA/Hubble, and NASA More

Buddhist Lunar Observance

ASK A MONK: "Is it okay to practice [the weekly Eight Precept lunar observance called] uposatha once a month instead of the usual weekly times? I have a mild blood pressure problem and fasting seems to really cause my blood pressure to drop to the point I feel light headed."

The REAL "Men in Black" (video)

Wisdom Quarterly; Nick Redfern interview with George Noory on CoasttoCoastAM.com
NOTE: This post is a facsimile. It has been reconstructed after the original was mysteriously erased as it was being updated to include Redfern's appearance on C2C today (May 26, 2012). If any reader has a copy of the original, please send it in via the comments section.

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones continue the popular series with MIB 3. This movie is obvious comedic fiction, but it is based on fact. If Hollywood makes movies and claims that they are nonfiction, simply shouting "Conspiracy theory!" is enough for people to dismiss them out of hand. But if they are made as fiction, whether comedic or dramatic, we allow ourselves to "suspend disbelief" and thereby see the big picture with the details changed. Film writers have to derive their inspiration from somewhere. Why not from defectors, whistle blowers, and truth tellers involved in the military-industrial complex (MIB)? Unfortunately, doing so opens us up to the very real possibility of being fed disinformation and PsyOps. But this only means we must keep our minds open rather than our eyes and ears closed.

() Nick Redfern June 2011 on C2C

The MIC is not the main source of MIB
The mistake promoted by the series is the view that MIB are simply government agents working for a secret agency. The MIC impersonates MIB to intimidate witnesses. Those attempting to expose UFO phenomena, the paranormal, free energy physics, forbidden archeology, ancient technology, cryptid bipedal apes (Sasquatch, Yeti, Bigfoot), or medical discoveries that threaten pharmaceutical industry profits.  For instance, anyone who discloses being in possession of physical evidence is likely to be visited. Under duress they are made to recant or participate in being discredited. Material evidence is often confiscated ("borrowed for analysis") never to be returned. Where did they go? "I gave them to government agents who promised they'd give them back." In this way claimants are undermined. They are without evidence to confirm their claims. But that is a fraction of what is going on. The REAL MIB are thought to be extraterrestrials, time travelers, and/or "adjusters" (as depicted in the "The Adjustment Bureau" and the recent A Princess of Mars remake "John Carter") with very creepy, otherworldly, or unmistakably superhuman powers.

"Barry O'Bama" dazzles Ireland (video)

With a forged birth certificate, anything's possible for Baraig Barry Soetoro O'Bama

DUBLIN, Ireland (CNN) - Thousands of jubilant Irishmen and women gave U.S. President Barack Obama a virtual hero's welcome Monday, embracing him as one of their own in a visit that included a campaign-style speech in downtown Dublin and a stop at the president's ancestral home.

Addressing an estimated crowd of 25,000 people at Dublin's famed College Green, Obama praised the "centuries-old relationship" between Ireland and America, and said he had traveled to Ireland "to reaffirm those bonds of affection."

The stop came on the first day of Obama's six-day, four-country European tour, which will also take the president to Britain, France and Poland. More (with VIDEO)

The Global Finance Connection
Wisdom Quarterly (COMMENTARY)

MONEYGALL, Ireland - Icelandic volcano eruption welcomes O'Bama to Europe again. There's a wee bit o' Irish in just about everyone now. The devas that hybridized humans on the Emerald Isle, with their strange red hair and freckled translucent skin not accustomed to our decreasingly filtered sunlight (thanks to environmental degradation and atmospheric deterioration), ventured far. The new gene sequences even made it into future World Leader Barry O'Bama and previous dictator Dick Cheney and others.

It's a long way for green to go, but we are all one human race. And that includes our extraterrestrial forebears. Yes, there are relations all over the galaxy, but even if revealed on a large scale, it will be too hard to believe.

Meanwhile, on a small scale: It's no accident who gets selected to rule. Karma plays a major role, and the powers that be know it. So bloodlines, horoscopes, speaking abilities, and grooming go a long way.

Unfortunately, so does the governing war mentality, the long history of naga (reptile-hybrid) influence, and the survival of world mythological traditions that hold the essence of the story in our awareness.

Why is O'Bama in Ireland...is there an economic connection? Ruling the world means ruling money, banking, and high finance. With the coming economic collapse, the fall of the dollar that precipitates a rearrangement of the [Brave New] World Order:

Japan slams into (inhabited) Moon

The Japanese lunar orbiter "Kaguya" has completed its main mission. But there's one final scientific endeavor: It will slam onto the moon's surface at about 2:30 p.m. ET (18:30 UT) on [7/9/09].
The impact is expected to occur on the near-side of the moon, in the dark area close to the limb, at lunar coordinates 80°E and 64°S, said European astronomers, who have mapped out the expected impact site using images from the the European Space Agency's SMART-1 lunar orbiter, which was also purposely crashed into the moon in 2006. More>>
  • UPDATE - 10:32 a.m. Thursday, June 11:
The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) confirmed the planned crash landing has occurred: "Kaguya was impacted to the south-east of near side of the Moon on June 10, 2009 (GMT)," the agency said in a statement.
  • UPDATE - 11 p.m. ET Wednesday, June 10:
The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has not confirmed whether Kaguya hit the moon. But as is done on election night broadcasts, and after much anticipation, SPACE.com is declaring this impact a done deal as of 11 p.m.

CHANDRA, Akasha Devaloka (WQ) - The Moon is inhabited. In any case, according to Richard Hoagland (enterprisemission.com), it was in the past. Today, there are visible architectural structures on its surface. American, Russian, and other governments with lunar space programs are well aware of this: China, Japan, and India have successfully sent their own probes into lunar orbit. According to Stewart Swerdlow (expansions.com), it is possible to use an earth-based telescope to see moving lights and other activity on the lunar surface -- part of secret human programs that have continued for at least three decades since the US set out to land there. Will anger or awe overcome nations in response to the planned disclosure?
