Astronomers widely accept that the universe formed in a Big Bang [with no precedent, everything blowing up into existence out of nothing, with scientists claiming to be superior to religieux IF they be given just this one miracle to explain how everything began] approximately 13.8 billion years ago.
It has been expanding ever since [which it has not but how else to explain the Doppler effect redshift than to say everything is moving apart when it is not].
This expansion explains how a 13.8-billion-year-old universe can be so much larger than 13.8 billion light-years across.
First of all, [scientists] should explain that the light-speed limit that relativity imposes on objects within the universe does not apply to the universe itself.

(BeeyondIdeas) Let's unravel the mysteries surrounding (our) Big Bang. Was it truly the beginning of everything?
31 Planes/Zones of Existence
[No, obviously not. In Buddhist cosmology, the universe (multiverse) is aeons (kalpas) old, ordinary aeons and great aeons, of incalculable lengths as the universe arises, expands, disintegrates, goes into a state of chaos, and arises again, cyclically, repeatedly, endlessly.
It is unclear what constitutes a universe, the everything, because there are world systems (cakkavalas), and each world system is similar to the countless others, like bubbles in space. If each constitutes a universe, a self-contained system of planets and stars and a diverse population of creatures, then we live in a multiverse with such universes extending out in 10,000 directions.
There are 31 Planes of Existence, divided into three spheres, our Sensual Sphere, the more subtle Fine Material Sphere above us, and the Immaterial Sphere, which is formless, above that. These 31 Planes are general categories with countless individual worlds and inhabitants. Space is big, very big, and multidimensional, so it's even bigger than we can imagine.
So from a Buddhist cosmological point of view, if a "Big Bang" is the initial point of an expanding universe, this is just a phase after a lengthy period of contraction. After expanding, it dissipates into chaos for a lengthy period. But after a time, it again establishes order and regularity, and this is a new beginning, a Golden Age or Satya Yuga, an Age of Truth. We are currently in a Kali Yuga, but it is hard to say because within these massive cycles there are subcycles, mini periods of revolution, of dark and bright, cycles within cycles.
And it just goes on this way without end and, therefore, without a discernible beginning, which is not to say there was not one, only that it cannot now be found. And we cannot reason our way there. It is one of the Four Imponderables.
One would sooner become deranged, a "mad scientist," before settling on a satisfactory answer. And, in any case, it would not actually be satisfactory, like The God Idea as the cause of all things, with Maha Brahma (the "Great Supremo") as the cause of all things, which the Buddha declared a wrong view.
A creator god is as good as any explanation only because it stops all further searching. It is said that science is ridiculous in positing a Big Bang as a first cause because in doing so it is saying, "Everything is rational, mechanical, explicable, and understandable IF you just give us this one bit of irrational, supernatural, inexplicable, and nonsense Big Bang magic as the cause and origin of everything.]

(CBS News) A new form of public technology is trying to send items into space with an innovative new method.
Instead of heavy fuel, 90% of which is burned up in the launch, The SpinLaunch aims to reduce the carbon footprint of space travel by using a vacuum chamber to launch objects -- in essence to shoot a projectile 40 miles up. Then gas engines engage for the next ten miles of thrust to make it to "space" because "space" is only 50 miles up. Jeff Glor has more.

(WQ) And, of course, since "space" is a vacuum, no thrust of a rocket could go any farther because there would be nothing to push off of, so a quarter-million mile voyage to the moon is a preposterous impossibility in the way we have been told it happens. Either antigravity technology is in use, as was given to the Nazis who attached the antigravity device given to them to an airtight submarine and lifted into space. Or the moon is much, much closer, as flat earth experts like Eric Dubay conjecture. The Nazi advance into space was revealed in a documentary that closed DisclosureFest 2019 in L.A. called Above Majestic.
It is said that secret black budget government agencies already have a "space elevator" that works by the floatation of a platform up into space, presumably by antigravity. It is certainly not by mechanical means, chain, or any kind of propulsion, as the fake sideways traveling rocket launches into the sea we are shown on television attempt to show. SpaceX and others may be getting into space, since "space" is defined as 50 miles up, but they are certainly not doing it by rocket fuel and Nazi continental ballistic missile technology ala American NaziWernher von Braun, unless the moon is within our atmosphere like Russian scientists publicly stated and were never corrected by any person with so much as a high school level of science under his or her belt.
The moon is probably close because one day an Asian country, possibly North Korea or China, announced to its people that it had reached the moon, yet its astronauts (cosmonauts, taikonauts) were back for dinner that same night, earning them peels of mocking laughter from the Western media. But if the moon is close, roughly 3,000 miles up, and they orbited, they could have made it back on the same day. If we have an increasingly thin atmosphere extending up hundreds of thousands of miles, the alleged distance to the moon, and there is a way around or through the protective firmament dome or force that acts as a dome, then rocket fuel.
If any or all of this sounds "crazy," simply consider what John Lear said about NASA in relation to space: The official U.S. space agency hasn't told some lies about space; everything they've said about space has been a lie. For instance, Lear revealed, having heard it from military men who told him in private, we think there are eight or nine places to land in the solar system; in fact, there are at least 42. He did not elaborate, perhaps referring to bases on moons, other planets or planetoids, or vimana-celestial-platforms and mindbogglingly large motherships up there or things like the derelict Black Knight ship, this object, Oumuamua,or this thing on the lunar surface.
So if one struggles, reading Popular Mechanics, textbooks, and the like, watching official videos and scientific explanations by apologists Niel DeGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye, one is hopelessly deceived, piling one makeshift gap filling explanation atop another until the next bombshell "discovery" the mainstream media lays on us. The only thing one can do to find out the truth firsthand is excel at her/his studies and hope to be plucked for a plumb black budget agency science post in a real lab learning real physics not the gibberish we all try to rest our hat on.

Look what Edward Snowden, Bradley Chelsea Manning, and Reality Winner got for their trouble trying to reveal a compartmentalized portion of the truth as they stumbled on it.
PLACEBO EFFECT: Phenylephrine doesn't work as a nasal decongestant or replacement for natural pseudoephedrine, which was banned for working, the FDA concludes as is pulling it from the market after all those billions in research, documentation, and double-blind studies to prove its efficacy before being allowed to be sold in the U.S. Fake science for Big Pharma profits? Corruption at the FDA? Fake "objective" science for profit?
