In the West we tend to believe “you can't get something for nothing,” but in this program Watts explores the possibility that nothing may be the very basis of something — and uses the example of sounds emerging out of silence to explain what is discovered in Zen practice.

Man accused of killing healthcare CEO will NOT face state terrorism-related murder charges, but other charges will stand
People's hero or future model?
Handsome accused killer Luigi Mangione scored a major legal victory today (Tuesday, 9/16/25) as a judge dismissed the two top state charges against him, first-degree murder and second-degree murder, both of which prosecutors had argued were "terrorism" crimes.
Mangione still faces an additional second-degree murder charge, as well as a federal murder charge, in the killing [execution, assassination] of United HealthCare executive Brian Thompson last December.
I'm super smart, so I'll shoot this thief...
The overseer of Mangione’s state criminal case, Judge Gregory Carro, said “the evidence put forth was legally insufficient” for the two terrorism-related charges, in a written decision that was posted during a 15-minute proceeding in Manhattan court on Tuesday.
I got away by bike; my brows brought me down
“Counts one and two, charging [the] defendant with murder in the first degree (in furtherance of an act of terrorism) and murder in the second degree as a crime of terrorism, are dismissed as legally insufficient,” Judge Carro wrote. “The people presented legally sufficient evidence of all other counts, including murder in the second degree (intentional).” More
"He's so good looking, he could get away with murder," people say. Deny Defend Depose, the profit-driven insurance companies insist. Are the killers getting more handsome, or is it just me? Sweet, super smart shooters, why? Bonnie and Clyde were popular American figures, Jewish mafiosos who brought down Italian ones by selling them out to the Feds and destroying some families by working with the American government...and we as a population are cheering for more missiles to Ukraine, Gaza, Israel, Palestine, Yemen, Iran, Venezuela...like we just can't keep our missiles in the Pentagon's pants.
Race may play a role in these murder cases, because today the Menendez Brothers, stars of a documentary that almost got them released from prison, lost their bid to retry the case. Now their only hope for release is California Gov. Newsom. (What's in it for him since he intends to run for president and doesn't want to be accused of being "soft on crime"?) And in three years, they can go back to the prison board to petition for release.
(NY Post) No amount of Instagram [AI] filters will fix this.
Influencers might seem glamorous on social media, but their smoldering good looks apparently won’t last.
Experts at the gambling site casino.org have devised a grotesque model of what these content creators will look like by the Year 2050, complete with
pale, patchy skin
a hunchback and
chronic neck pain.
AI kills for the first time
Future social media influencers
“While the career [of social media influencer] can be glamorous, it can also bring significant changes to our lifestyle,” the gambling experts wrote.
They reportedly wanted to see how the “trendy profession” — which boasts 30-50 million adherents worldwide and is growing by 10-20% each year — can impact appearances over time.”
They deduced that “algorithm-chasing, [unrealistic] beauty standard pressures, and non-stop content creation can take a visible toll on both body and mind.” More
(The Cosmic Summit) What is cold fusion, perpetual motion, free energy, zero-point energy...and why is it being hidden when it can change everything. Oh yeah. It can change everything. And the Powers That Be wouldn't want that.
Aww, thanks, girl. You finally took sides and chose me! - No, I just went against Trump.
.
Taylor Swift endorses Kamala Harris. Will it push her over the top?
And it finally happened: TayTay went Dixie
Kamala Devi Harris had a great night. She not only won the debate (even though she had a lot to answer for and many things someone better than Trump could have made much of), but now she got what Biden was never ever to get: Taylor "Nazi Barbie" Swift's political endorsement.
Girl power! Of course, it's a safe choice for T-Dog at this point. Even war criminals Dick and Bush back Kamala. It's like when Obama was (s)elected. Everyone in the know just got behind him out of nowhere, and we thought it was a momentous thing for a post-racial country.
(The Daily Show) Jon Stewart reviews the big debate
But the trick was on us. Obama, in spite of looking great in the part and being a worldclass orator, did many things Dick Cheney and G.W. Bush could only dream of doing and getting past the American people, like
the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act),
backed multiple wars,
did whatever the powers that be wanted,
argued against prosecuting past crimes (because they were in the past),
becoming "Deporter in Chief,"
lying with a straight face,
being married to a transgender man named Michael,
those things attorney Andrew D. Basiago said about him,
being gay and smoking crack and having the firsthand witness talking about it offed,
getting into a fight with a more recent lover then beating him to death with no questions asked.
Gay, philandering, drug addict Barry Obama?
Of course, it sounds preposterous, but when you're that deep in the Swamp, it's actually not that farfetched. Hillary and/or Bill Clinton had a man named Vince Foster killed, it is widely rumored. It's just the way Washington politics are played nowadays. In any case, RFK Jr. said it best: There goes whatever was left of the Party when even the incarnation of evil Dick Cheney is happy to back a pro-war candidate so that everything can stay the same as if Biden were fit enough to continue his puppet show.
The 82-year-old crank, seen here last month, addressed 250 supporters during town hall meeting on Friday afternoon about what he believes to be the biggest problems in America. No one cared.
I'm unburdened by what has been, and you have been, Bernie, you has-been! STFU.
.
*Click, POW!* - I'll kill you, you SOB old man!
Bernie Sanders has issued a stark warning to Democratic nominee hopeful Kamala Harris that she needs to battle economic inequality or face losing the election.
The 82-year-old Independent addressed 250 supporters during a town hall meeting on Friday afternoon about what he believes to be the biggest problems in America.
Listen to me, Camel La! I know better!!
After an audience member at the event chimed in that the biggest problem was economic inequality, he spoke at length about its far-reaching implications.
He told the crowd:
"Discrepancies between rich and poor, income and wealth inequality...I happen to tend to agree."
I'm an angry capitalist and rich.
Speaking with The Boston Globe after delivering the remarks, Sanders said: "[Kamala] needs to have an agenda that speaks to the crisis facing working families all over this country."
Sanders said that Harris had to have an agenda that speaks to working families facing economic inequality.
STH up, Bernie. Let the Black girl do her thing.
Sanders added: "I think the Democrats are going to have to be very, very clear as to what ideas they have in the midst of massive income and wealth inequality.
Donald Trump's real golf 'failures' EXPOSED in humiliating video
(TYT Sports) July 24, 2024: Donald Trump hit the links with his favorite Saudi-backed golfer Bryson DeChambeau and showed the whole world why he has to cheat so badly and so frequently while playing golf. Rick Strom breaks it down. Give us your thoughts in the comments below!

The undecorated war hero, who survived the Battle of Butler, where his right ear was nearly torn off his scalp, after which he has taken to wearing a Maxi Pad on his ear for sympathy, is golfing. Reports have it that he was on the golf course two days later. At his most recent outing to play golf, he neglected to wear his Maxi Pad, and he is seen on the right side with NO discernible injury to his ear, none at all. Not a scar, not a missing piece, not a scab, no blood, no disfigurement, no need for so much as a Band-Aid. So was it all staged after all? Did he and the FBI set it up to look like three assassins were in Pennsylvania to take him out -- one from an open window, one from a water tower, and one dead one from a nearby rooftop, who had no ability to hit a watermelon at 10 yards? Let's ask the fake media:
A strong case can be made for body doubles, plastic surgery, hair pieces, and then there's...
.
Who's moving in, Esther? - My name's Kamala
Cackling Kamala Harris is starting to look pretty good right about now. Even the Trumpet says he'd end the U.S. Proxy War in Ukraine right away if given a chance to refuse to step down again in a repeat of Jan. 6th. But this Biden, yikes, a dotard in his dotage. And there's more than one of them, but the looks of it, so what excuse does he have really?
‘License to fall’: Joe Biden mocked in James Bond parody
Actor Struan Rodgers impersonates Biden
(Sky News Australia) Sept 12, 2023: Sky News Host Rita Panahi has questioned why the oldest U.S. president is being “treated like a baby” and brought his age into question.
Concerns have been raised about enfeebled U.S. Pres. Biden’s age after a series of his blunders and pratfalls were mocked in a James Bond parody trailer.
“We’ve had a glimpse into the … routine the Biden White House has been running with,” Ms. Panahi said.
“Who is commander in chief? Because it ain’t this guy. Nowadays, his staff don’t even let him finish before they abruptly end a press conference.”
EDITOR: Buzz, she's generations younger than you! What in the world could you two possibly have to talk about?
BUZZ: Talk?
EDITOR: Oh, OK, in that case, carry on. But stop punching people in the face for calling you a liar who never actually went to the moon (even if you might have been hypnotized to forget you've been lying about ever since).
The moon landing footage we all saw on TV was as fake as fake could be. Thanks, Stanley Kubrick, for leaving in all the mistakes then putting in all those Easter eggs in your movies to hint at what you had done. But that's not to say we've never been to the moon, Luna/Soma, only that we didn't get to see it all happening as we were told. Try telling that to Eugene "Buzz" Aldrin, as some have, and he'll punch you in the face. Noted researcher Eric Dubay, a much maligned American whistleblower, says the moon is not at all what we're told so could never be landed on. In any case, many say we're being treated to a hologram in the sky covering the actual moon, which is in the atmosphere, according to Russian science, and is not nearly so far away as we are told. The same is true of our sun, Sol/Surya, which is of the same size, circling around above us being chased by the moon, in accordance with many religious traditions and their ancient cosmologies. Who knows for sure what is true, but are we allowed to QUESTION others' opinions and expert analyses of what's "true," or must we just buy and believe what the "experts" tell us? We're better off listening to comedians for the news if that's the case. For example, what about COVID and the plandemic? Who did Buzz marry in Los Angeles this week? Dr. Anca Faur, who's only three decades younger.
