Los Angeles police have confirmed the arrests of six people for defacing altering the landmark Hollywood sign, with the ruder message being visible across L.A. County.

The six have been arrested after changing the famous Hollywood sign in Southern California, it has been announced.

The sign, which is visible across Los Angeles due to its position in the Hollywood Hills, is known to many around the world and is protected by fences and guards.

However, six pranksters were able to get close to the landmark and alter its appearance, causing quite a stir.

It is believed that reality star Julia Rose, who rose to fame on MTV's Are You the One?, was part of the group after she was seen being led away by LAPD cops.

The sign, which for a while read "Hollyboob," saw the group use large tarps to place a makeshift B in front of the W and in the middle of the D.

Police were waiting at the bottom of the hill.

Julia Rose, 27, was joined by friend and YouTube star Jack Tenney, 26, who claim they were only at the sign for between 15 to 20 minutes before leaving. They apparently expected to be arrested, reports The LA Times. More
