Stargate: The CIA's research on the right brain
(Uberboyo, 11/26/20) Project Stargate by the CIA was declassified in 2003. It was a secret project from the 1980s that tested the validity of psychic powers like astral projection and time travel. Uberboyo was astounded to find out that the CIA saw the syncing of the right and left hemispheres of the brain as the key towards accessing these "altered states," remote viewing, and psychic abilities. Is it legit or nonsense?

(Lionsgate) The Men Who Stare at Goats

In this dark comedy inspired by real life, astonishing revelations about a top-secret wing of the U.S. military come to light when a reporter encounters an enigmatic Special Forces operator on a mind-boggling mission. Reporter Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor) is in search of his next big story when he encounters Lyn Cassady (George Clooney), a shadowy figure who claims to be part of an experimental U.S. military unit with unparalleled psychic powers that can read the enemy's thoughts, pass through solid walls, and even kill a goat simply by staring at it. Intrigued by his new acquaintance's far-fetched stories, he impulsively decides to accompany Lyn on his search to find the program's founder, Bill Django (Jeff Bridges). The reporter is trapped in the middle of a grudge match when the pair runs into renegade psychic Larry Hooper (Kevin Spacey) and his personal militia of super soldiers. In order to survive this wild adventure, he will have to outwit an enemy he never thought possible.
