Hawaii forecast: snow blizzard, 100 mph winds

Blizzard coming to Hawaii this weekend
(5News, Dec. 2, 2021) Over a foot of snow and 100+ MPH wind gusts are likely this weekend on the mountain summits of the Big Island of Hawaii, the tallest mountain in the world (though not the highest since it starts farther down than Everest and K2). Heavy rain is expected for lower elevations.

Hawaii flyover: Relaxing music and footage
(Piano Relaxing) Any time of year is a good time to visit the State of Hawaii. In its summer, between April and November, the weather is warmer and drier, with average temperatures of 75-88 F (21.5-28 C). In its winter, between December and March, it's colder, about 68-80 F (18-24 C). Strong winds from the southeast and northeast Pacific Ocean make the landscape gentle and pleasant all year round...unless a blizzard is coming.

Are Hawaiian blizzard warnings bizarre?
(Kyle Gillett, NC Package, Dec. 3, 2021) Snow is headed for Hawaii! Nearly 12 inches of snow and winds of 100 mph are forecast. A blizzard warning is in effect for the two big islands' volcano peaks, which are up at 13,000 feet.
