The supermoon is not a strict astronomical term, but it describes conditions in which the moon appears at its perigee -- closest point to Earth.
Because the moon's orbit is not perfectly round, its orbit brings it closer and farther to Earth at different times through the year.
Who says NASA doesn't lie? - They do!
At its farthest point the moon approaches its apogee which is on average about 405,500 km from Earth. During its closest approach the moon comes within 363,300 km from the planet.
Lyle Tavernier from NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) said: "Full moons can occur at any point along the Moon’s elliptical path, but when a full moon occurs at or near the perigee, it looks slightly larger and brighter than a typical full moon. More
It can't be!
Rahu, not Luna, eclipses Surya (Sol) our sun
The great thing about discussing the flat earth, a preposterous topic, is that it causes us to question and investigate. We do not know the shape of the earth, but we know one thing: NASA is lying. Black budget science and scientists know what's going on. Gatekeeper knowledge-filterers in academia are towing the line. Either they have not figured out that they are being lied to or they are part of the cover up. Look up. Think. Question or at least resolve these problems with the standard model shoved down our throats.
The Moon we don't know
Begins at Minute 1:30. [Another object in the sky causes eclipses, Rahu. Moon does not eclipse our sun, nor does the earth cause lunar phases by its shadow.
In this video, speech-impaired World History Official talks about the Moon going in a circle over our contoured plane(t), the flat earth. This is the truth as many who investigate see it. He will keep telling the truth. It's painful, but better to get hurt by the truth than to be comforted by a lie. He can't speak as he has a speech disorder [and possibly a little dyslexia or substandard grammar skills, or maybe English is not his first language]. But he does have a pleasant robot voice over on the video. In any case the text -- from Zetetic Astronomy: World Not a Globe (1881) -- is on the video.

New Humanity Movement is about gathering and networking in order to bring new ideas, new ways of thinking, and new ways of organizing our affairs to come into alignment with the accelerating transformation we see all around us. We are co-creating a new future for humanity beyond what is currently been programmed by a cabal of elites.
We must “walk our talk.” Our words and actions must be integrated in our lives. One is reminded of Thomas Jefferson’s concept of moral muscles -- that we build and strengthen our character through the daily exercise of words, actions, and decisions. Integrity means physical courage and, moreover, moral courage. We sometimes stand up by speaking up.

A whole new meaning to child's pose! Meet America's youngest yoga teacher
Jaysea DeVoe [deva?] is a yoga instructor. She has the challenging job of teaching fidgety preschoolers the ancient spiritual practice, but once her charges get going, she says, "They really start to focus and listen."
DeVoe knows a thing or two about childhood and focus, for she is only 12-years-old and just recently became a certified yoga instructor after completing 200 hours of teacher training. She is believed to be the youngest certified female yoga instructor in the U.S.
I'm not taking her class (vogue.it/en)
Twelve-year-old certified yoga instructor Jaysea DeVoe teaches her yoga class at Bergamot Spa in California.
In addition to her pint-sized students aged four to six, she teaches teens and fellow tweens in her California beach town of Encinitas and is about to start a family yoga class. Oh, and she just told her dad she wants to look into making eco-friendly yoga mats.
"I feel like I want to do this for a long time because I love teaching so much," says DeVoe, the picture of a California beach girl, with long blond hair and long legs to match. But DeVoe is not alone in her entrepreneurial zeal. Her twin brother, 12, is a sponsored competitive surfer and works at a surfboard fin manufacturing company. Cycling through the Day for Mindful Practice – The Body/Mind Types
According to Ayurveda [Vedic science of health], the energetic qualities of the doshas (or body/mind types: vata, pitta, and kapha)
rotate throughout the day. So different influences predominate during
different portions of the day. They can affect our practices of poses (asana), pranayama(spirit control),
and meditation as well as our strength, state of mind, mood, and more.
As yoga therapists, acknowledging and understanding these cycles can
help us more effectively work with clients and students. The
inherent qualities of the doshas have a strong influence... We can fight against or
flow with and utilize practice to help find balance... More
Project Camelot (PC)
met Jessica Schab at the NEXUS Conference in Australia in October 2008. She
was in tears at the end of PC presentation and said that she had to
talk. A young Australian had seen her YouTube post and sponsored her trip from Vancouver, B.C. to
Brisbane, Australia.
Realizing that it might be interesting and valuable to many, PC interviewed her as a "crystal child," a witness representing a new and very awakened generation. Like others (indigo children, starseeds, etc.) she is well informed, deeply
concerned about world events, and very aware of the need for humankind to grow
spiritually in order to transcend the problems we face
together.
Lilou Mace's Juicy Living Tour goes to Toronto, Canada in August 2011 and talks to Schab. "Soul
archeology" is going inside to find our beautiful treasures of truth to live off of the abundance of our joy (like the luminous beings in the Ābhassara deva worlds, described by the Buddha, who feed on delight). We do what we love and
live free because truth-wealth frees us. Even as the
world is full of suffering, it is also full of overcoming. If we tell
the truth, we don't have to remember anything. We have immortal longings. (She interviewed and posted her talk with governmenttime travelerAndrew Basiago, future US president, prior to his first appearance on Coast to Coast. See below).
Earth-deva Jessica Schab, (JessicaMystic.com)
In this 50-minute video, she speaks openly and
emotionally about her personal journey, her family, and some of the
bewildering other-dimensional, extraterrestrial encounters she has experienced.
Her weaknesses are her
dyslexia and that she has not yet fully integrated her many experiences
and perceptions.
Human-deva Jessica Schab, crystal child
Her strengths are her openness and her determination
to bring a message of unity to those who can hear it from her. She sees herself
as a newly arrived teacher and messenger.
Like most of us she still has a long way to go in
her journey, with much to learn. But this is why most of us are here. Many of us choose to help one others as best we can.

Many jokes and much confusion surrounds enlightenment. Can it be sped up? Or does it come about on its own?
In ancient India there was a radical wrong view that seems to be alive and well in America today with our feelgood New Age views (Guru Oprah, Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, The not-so Secret, and clinging to our own wrong views by habit over countless lives).
That radical wrong view is that samsara (the sense of separate or independent existence and suffering in the long cycle of rebirth) is like a ball of yarn: It will unravel and run out by itself. The view is that things will resolve themselves by themselves with no necessity of good effort on our part. But it will not run out on its own.
Samsara, in a sense, is endless. That is not to say that it will never end, but only to point out that it will never end on its own. How is this possible? Imagine a hamster on a wheel. When will the wheel stop turning, stop cycling -- when will the hamster stop "wandering on"?
Never, because there is no end to cycling to such a wheel. Or right now, just as soon as the hamster stops causing the wheel to turn. Samsara does not cycle by itself. Nirvana is available right now.
In ancient India in the Buddha's time, Bahiya of the Barkcloth (Daruciriya) did not know that. He assumed he was enlightened. A deva corrected him. Bahiya was surprised and retorted, Well if I'm not, who is? The deva told Bahiya about the Buddha. Bahiya did everything he could to get to the Buddha right away.
Thus must you train yourself: In the seen, [let] there...be just the seen In the heard, just the heard In the otherwise sensed, just the otherwise sensed In the cognized, just the cognized [by the sixth sense, mind]...
The Buddha with this one cryptic stanza -- releasing his heart from craving/clinging -- gave Bahiya just what he needed to gain enlightenment right on the spot. It happened so quickly that the monks living with the Buddha, who were not enlightened, were confused.
When did Bahiya have time to gain the liberating vision, knowing-and-seeing things just as they are? The Buddha explained to them what happened to Bahiya and uttered a famous inspired verse of uplift (Udana) partially defining the inscrutable term "nirvana."
Where water, earth, fire, air no footing find There shine no stars, no sun is there displayed There gleams no moon, no darkness there is seen So when the sage, a noble one, by wisdom [From illusion] hath pierced unto the Truth From form and no-form, pleasure and pain S/he is freed!
(DB33) The United States has three ionospheric heating facilities: HAARP, HIPAS (near Fairbanks, Alaska), and one at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico.
The European Incoherent Scatter Scientific Association (EISCAT) operates an ionospheric heating facility, capable of transmitting over 1 GW (1,000,000,000 watts) of effective radiated power (ERP), near Tromsø, Norway. Russia has the Sura ionospheric heating facility in Vasilsursk near Nizhniy Novgorod, capable of transmitting 190 MW ERP.
Another site, operated by military sub-contractor under an unknown arrangement between the U.S. and Canadian governments, is located near Cape Race, Newfoundland, Canada (N46° 38.649' W53° 9.010'). There is minimal to no grid power available at this site, so this may be a passive listening post for the transmissions emitted by other HAARP sites.
In August 2002, criticism of HAARP technology came from the State Duma (Parliament) of Russia. The Duma published a critical report on HAARP written by its international affairs and defense committees and signed by 90 deputies and presented to then President Vladimir Putin.
The report claimed that: "the U.S. is creating new integral geophysical weapons that may influence the near-Earth medium with high-frequency radio waves... The significance of this qualitative leap could be compared to the transition from cold steel to firearms, or from conventional weapons to nuclear weapons. This new type of weapons differs from previous types in that the near-Earth medium becomes at once an object of direct influence and its component."
However, given the timing of the Russian intervention, it is possible that it was related to a controversy at the time concerning the U.S. withdrawal in June 2002 from the Russian-American Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty. This high-level concern is paralleled in the April 1997 statement by the U.S. Secretary of [War] over the power of such electromagnetic weaponry.
Russia owns and operates an ionospheric heater system as powerful as HAARP, called "Sura" [Asuras in Buddhist cosmology being celestial outcasts spurred to disrupt life on Earth in ongoing efforts to wage war on nearby extraterrestrials called Devas], which is located roughly 150 km from the city of Nizhny, Novgorod.
The objectives of HAARP became the subject of controversy in the mid-1990s, following claims that the antennas could be used as a weapon.
A small group of American physicists aired complaints in scientific journals such as Physics and Society, charging that HAARP could be seeking ways to destroy or disable enemy spacecraft [not only aircraft] or disrupt communications over large portions of the planet.
The physicist-critics of HAARP had little to complain about during the project's early stages. But they have expressed fears that it can be expanded into an experimental weapon. It is no coincidence that its funding comes from the Office of Naval Research and the Air Force Research Laboratory.
These concerns were amplified by Bernard Eastlund, a physicist who developed some of the concepts behind HAARP in the 1980s. He proposed using high-frequency radio waves to beam large amounts of power into the ionosphere, energizing its electrons and ions, in order to disable incoming missiles and knock out enemy satellite communications.
The U.S. military became interested in the idea as an alternative to the laser-based SDI or Strategic Defense Initiative [originally thought to be intended to act as offensive weapons helmed by harmful entities on Earth against potentially helpful entities from the heavens, literally "the skies" and space realms].
However, Eastlund's ideas were eventually dropped as SDI itself mutated into the more limited National Missile Defense of today. The contractors selected to build HAARP have denied that any of Eastlund's patents were used in the development of the project.
After these physicists raised early concerns, the controversy was stoked by local activism. In September 1995, a book entitled Angels Don't Play This HAARP: Advances in Tesla Technology by former teacher Nick Begich, Jr. -- son of the late Congressman Nick Begich (D-AK) and brother of U.S. Senator Mark Begich (D-AK) -- claimed that the project in its present stage could be used for "geophysical warfare."
(TheSun.co.uk) England — In 2009 there were 643 reports of bizarre lights, strange spheres, and curious orbs in our skies — a figure only beaten in 1978. UFO expert Nick Pope said 31 years ago there were 750 reports from panicked members of the public. But this is the last time the Ministry of Defence (MoD) will release these figures.
The government closed their UFO hotline just before the end of last year, after it had been running for almost 60 years. The files contain sightings from military personnel, police officers, and air traffic controllers. Mr. Pope, who used to run the MoD's UFO project, said last night: "This is incredible. Britain is being inundated with UFO sightings.
"I'm sure the record would have been smashed had the MoD not terminated the UFO project late last year. These sensational figures just show how wrong that decision was. There are sightings here from military personnel, police officers and air traffic controllers." Source

"Scientists have finally pinpointed the so-called edge of space" — April 9, 2009 story below.
From a Buddhist perspective, space (akasha) is "boundless." That may not mean it's "infinite" however. These things are undeclared. And whether they are knowable or not, they do not conduce to dispassion, enlightenment, and liberation from suffering.
Far from being agnostic on the point, the Buddha pointed out the way to directly perceiving space. The commentaries (namely the Path of Purification) define space and the limits of space. Yet, these are tangible. Space is synonymous with sky, which ranges out in all directions. It is bounded by matter. It is the realm of akashadevas ("shining ones," extraterrestrials who dwell in the sky in spacecrafts, called vimanas, and beings inhabiting other planets).
Outer- and hyper-space, as understood in modern parlance, are directly visible to those who attain the purifying meditative "absorption" (fifth jhana) known as the base of unbounded space. Rather than setting down dogma or attempting to answer an endless litany of philosophical inquiries about it, the Buddha taught the way to experience this knowledge and vision directly. In the absence of any way of making this subjective (something we can experience ourselves), objective-science sets about to show (or deduce) it indirectly. Today is has found the "edge" of space. Unfortunately, this is not the far more interesting outer space but rather the visible sky above earth known as the Realm of Sky Beings (Pali, akasa-deva-loka).
Hold on to your hats, or in this case, your helmets: Scientists have finally pinpointed the so-called edge of space — the boundary between Earth's atmosphere and outer space.
With data from a new instrument developed by scientists at the University of Calgary, scientists confirmed that space begins 73 miles (118 kilometers) above Earth's surface.
A lot remains very fuzzy, however, as the boundary is surrounded by a host of misconceptions and confusing, conflicting definitions.
For starters, astronauts can say they've been to space after only passing the 50-mile (80-kilometer) mark.
Stepping out of International Space Station (NASA)
Meanwhile the boundary recognized by many in the space industry is also a somewhat arbitrary 62 miles (100 kilometers). Scientist Theodore vonKármán long ago calculated that at this altitude the atmosphere is so thin that it's negligible, and conventional aircraft can no longer function because they can't go fast enough to get any kind of aerodynamic lift. This 62-mile boundary is accepted by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI), which sets aeronautical standards.
The United States, however, has never officially adopted a set boundary standard because it would complicate the issue of overflight rights of satellites and other orbiting bodies, according to NASA.
NASA's mission control uses 76 miles (122 kilometers) as their re-entry altitude because that's where the shuttle switches from steering with thrusters to maneuvering with air surfaces, NASA states. Others point out that the "Now Entering Space" sign should be posted way out at 13 million miles (21 million kilometers) because that's the boundary where Earth's gravity is no longer dominant.
(While astronauts experience weightlessness in space, this isn't because there's no gravity there, it's due to the balance of forces acting on them as they orbit.)
In the new study, an instrument called the Supra-Thermal Ion Imager detected the boundary by tracking the relatively gentle winds of Earth's atmosphere and the more violent flows of charged particles in space, which can reach speeds well over 600 mph (1,000 kph).
The ability to gather data in that area is significant because it's very difficult to make measurements in this region, which is too high for balloons and too low for satellites.
"It's only the second time that direct measurements of charged particle flows have been made in this region, and the first time all the ingredients – such as the upper atmospheric winds – have been included," says project scientist David Knudsen of the University of Calgary.
The instrument was carried by the JOULE-II rocket on Jan. 19, 2007. It traveled to an altitude of about 124 miles (200 kilometers) above sea level and collected data for the five minutes it was moving through the "edge of space."
The finding, detailed in the Journal of Geophysical Research on April 7, could aid the study of space weather and its impacts on Earth.
The data "allows us to calculate energy flows into the Earth's atmosphere that ultimately may be able to help us understand the interaction between space and our environment," Knudsen said. "That could mean a greater understanding of the link between sunspots and the warming and cooling of the Earth's climate as well as how space weather impacts satellites, communications, navigation, and power systems."
