Dead Bibi Netanyahu 'drinks coffee' (AI fake)

The karma of genocide: Israeli Zionist Jewish IDF soldiers killing themselves off
(Jack Cocchiarella) Bye-bye Zionist Jewish elitist, Neo-Nazi Stephen Miller

(The Independent) Is the dead Bibi Netanyahu cafe an AI deep fake (Mossad intel agency psyops or psychological operations/war propaganda) after he died in targeted Iran bombing underground in Tel Aviv after the "mysterious" death of the Israeli judge pursuing him for Molech-level cannibalism, Baal-worthy child torture, and seeking adrenochrome, which is derived from tortured children? Inquiring minds want to know, but who can say? Everything is an allegation, and when you can order a hit on a judge, as apparently someone in Israel did, who will adjudicate a case to find the truth?

Happy Nat'l Metal Music Day (11/11)

Oh, honestly, why do you kids have to mosh and slam in pits of your own creation? Sit down!

Hard Heavy & Happy (Nico Rose)
While veterans with PTSD get all the attention, it is actually National Metal Day today, is a celebration for heavy metal fans, giving them the perfect excuse to crank up their favorite tracks and let loose.

It’s a day dedicated to the powerful music genre that broke barriers with its intense sound and rebellious spirit.

Getting its start in the late 1960s, metal music has always been a bit on the edge of the standard. And when the rockumentary (or mockumentary), This Is Spinal Tap, about a fictitious heavy metal band came out in 1984, it brought a whole new perspective to the idea of metal.

From the roaring guitar riffs of Black Sabbath to the electrifying performances of Metallica, this day unites fans across the globe. It’s time for #NationalMetalDay!

When did "hard rock" become "heavy metal"? Led Zep
The "Heavy Metal Monk" sings "the Devil's music" in Italy?

How to Celebrate National Metal Day
Surely people who are celebrating National Metal Day should take it up to 11! Consider some of these ideas for celebrating the day in a style that is filled with long hair and is super loud:

Watch This is Spinal Tap

If you’ve never seen it before, or if you have seen it dozens of times and are nostalgic for it, National Metal Day is the best day to watch This is Spinal Tap. This tongue-in-cheek film was made in 1984 and stars Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer.

Listen to Some Metal Music
Best metal band: Baby Metal?
Of course, one of the more obvious ways to celebrate and observe National Metal Day is to listen to some metal music. Perhaps go with some classic metal bands that have been around for quite some time, with songs such as these: More
What is the best metal music?
Wisdom Quarterly COMMENTARY

Sadly, heavy metal is viewed as a thing for boys. And that it may be. But in actuality, the best, heaviest, most listenable metal incorporates a female touch. Here's all the proof we need:

Hardcore punk: gateway to speed metal crossover
Why this should be so, in our opinion, is that if metal music is like very strong black coffee (or bitter dark chocolate). It sucks, but it suddenly becomes delicious for its darkness when paired with some toasty nonsense like sweet biscotti.

A little biscotti -- or sugar, or creamer, or foam -- makes coffee go a long way, like cafe latte. All dark all the time is ick, yack, hurl, a strong jolt, sure, but not exactly palatable all the time.

Add that accent and then addiction really sets in. The best example of this may be the best metal combo ever is partly Japanese Buddhist (shown above in front of Goddess Kwannon/Kwan Yin): BabyMetal!

(Stacey RPG) Japanese BabyMetal "Gimme Chocolate" reaction

Where'd you learn to scream, Alissa White-Gluz
But there are the Iron Maidens (all-female group playing Iron Maiden covers), and there's the great Alissa White-Gluz of the Agonist and other outfits, and Nina Persons doing lounge covers of Black Sabbath inspired tunes (Heartbreaker and Iron Man) with The Cardigans. (Okay, that's too much sugar for most, but all the scarier for it). There's the singer for Sentinel Beast, and Kirsten in Eternal Conspiracy. Or how about Tori Amos covering Slayer?

From The Agonist to Arch Enemy
Then, of course, there all the female fans at live shows that make live shows worth attending, and plenty of less obscure talent like that 6-year-old kid on America's Got Talent that time.

Metal has gone infinitely diverse with subgenres, so there's something for everyone, including the darkest Norwegian death metal.

What was first drink? Coffee, tea, wine?

Of course it has to be water, good old H2O, no, mother's milk, in a shot glass for comfort.
How old is the Mexican drink we call chocolate (xocolatl) cocoa from Theobroma cacao?

What was the first beverage?
Not gonna say water, right? Don't say water. Water is too obvious. Shoulda known it was water.

Kava Bar & Botanical Lounge (the Valley)

KBBL (kavabotanicallounge.com), Reseda, Los Angeles; Ananda (Dharma Buddhist Meditation), Dhr. Seven, Jen Bradshaw (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

The root of this plant has special properties.
What if someone in Los Angeles opened a kava bar? You know, a lounge that serves kava drink from the South Pacific. The kava plant is from the island of Vanuatu, where such bars are called Nakamal, traditional meeting areas to build community.

Drinking kava is ceremonial. Gradually traditional Nakamals became less prominent, and they started functioning as prep and serve sites for groups.

As the popularity of kava grew, kava bars began to spread from the South Pacific to the USA. In recent years, they have been sprouting up in different cities across the country, such as Sedona, Arizona, but tropical Florida still leads the pack.

Current trends make kava a great social drink because people loosen up, relax, and plunge into a happy and relaxed mood. The best part is it gives one a good night’s sleep without the dreading have to nurse a nasty hangover the following morning.

Its popularity is on the rise, gaining momentum as a healthier alternative to alcohol. Some claim it offers the potential for weight loss. Is it the next innovation for coffee shops from coast to coast?

Learning about Kava
Maybe it’s a misspelling of Spain’s famous sparkling wine “Cava”? Kava is from the South Pacific with a long history and robust flavor that is experiencing a rise in interest in major US cities.

Made from the ground root of the kava plant, fans of the intoxicating beverage say it produces a state of calm relaxation and can reduce anxiety. Research suggests that frequent use does not impair cognitive function.

Its popularity has led to the opening of several kava bars that serve as pleasant social lounges, a new sort of cafe with comfortable seats, relaxed lighting, and lots of conversation.

Kava bartenders, kavatenders, are encouraged to socialize, talking up the plant’s history.

Positive Effects of Kava
Patrons of the kava community often hear a cheer from Fiji. It’s the catchall phrase “Bula!” when sharing drinks.

What is it? Most of KBBL’s kava is sourced from Fiji and Vanuatu, but there are also showcase strains from other islands. It is the root of the pepper plant Piper methysticum, hand squeeze into a semi-intoxicating drink customers find helps reduce stress, relieve muscle aches, and lubricates socializing for wallflowers.

Traditionally, kava was ceremonial on the islands bringing together friends and neighbors. Kava has a reverse tolerance. So those new to it should let KBBL know to help ensure an excellent first experience.

The more often it is consumed, the less of it that is needed to feel the effects. A bula is a shared experienced.

Customers at Kava Bar & Botanical Lounge, a non-alcoholic bar in the Valley in Los Angeles, enjoy traditional kava and premium organic mock-tails inspired by ancient island tradition.

The atmosphere in Reseda is unlike any other: Conversing, studying, gaming in the arcade are just some of the things visitors enjoy. There is a private outdoor patio, Live Music Fridays, and a plethora of events planned for this calendar year.

The community is extremely welcoming and provides a much-needed alternative for those who crave a social experience better than the average bar scene. Alcohol is so 2023. KBBL is embarking on a journey to grow the biggest sober scene in LA.

Looking for a kava bar? Look no further then Reseda’s Kava Bar & Botanical Lounge.

Monk Mode vs. 'Sicko Mode' Challenge

A Buddhist nun followed in the footsteps of her brother who took the monk mode challenge.
(Tasty Husbands) Cleveland hates pervert Glenn Quagmire for cheating with his wife on Family Guy
.
If he succeeds, I'll become a Buddhist nun.
I tried to spend a week eating healthily, meditating skillfully, reading wisely, and sweating profusely by running 5K [as tapas or "burning off" the bad by austerity] every day, all while ditching television completely, giving up social media scrolling, and turning my back and not touching alcohol at all.

I failed, but that didn’t stop it from changing my life.

Health trends are 10 a penny on TikTok, from the genuinely dangerous Gallon of Water a Day for 30 Days trend to the brutal 75 Hard Challenge and the ever-popular 12-3-20. And guys are more likely to be influenced into giving extreme ones a go more than women, according to a recent study.
If I stare at this rock long enough...something?
I clearly am one of those gullible men. I wanted to throw myself headfirst into a new challenge. I've tried and failed any number of them. (Over lockdown, I stuck to the 100-pushup challenge for a little while).

But after hitting a bit of a slump at the start of the year, I wanted something that would jolt me out of it. I was exercising pretty regularly, but spending too long trapped in YouTube rabbit holes and not reading as much as I’d like. That’s where “monk mode” came in.

Going "monk mode" was far harder than I ever thought (iStock/Indy 100).

It was great living up at the Mt. Baldy Zen Center above LA as a Zen monk before music fame.
.
First Western Buddhist monk was Irish
It’s a pretty far-reaching term one sees bandied across the internet from time to time, and it can encompass any number of different elements.

There are some challenges listed, including ditching caffeine, which I was afraid to do, considering I was only doing monk mode for a week and had absolutely no intention of giving up my addiction to coffee in the long run, so it didn't make sense.

But in essence, monk mode involves dramatically cutting down screen time by placing a ban on drains like social media and TV.

And it proved to be tough – tougher than I ever imagined it would be. The exercise part was by far the easiest part.

Monks East and West are different. Travel East.
I’m a regular runner anyway, and all it took was upping the level from three 5K runs a week to every day.

It was a bit of a blessing that I went into monk mode after a relatively heavy weekend, which had involved plenty of Guinness [a type of addictive gluten alcohol the use of which is rampant in Ireland and parts of Europe] during a trip to Twickenham, so the no drinking wasn’t much of a problem either.

The challenge taught me a lot about my habit for procrastinating, though. I don’t think of myself as a social media addict, but I found my thumb unthinkingly heading for the Instagram app – out of boredom more than anything else – and I kept having to stop myself. More

(KHOU 11No way, 20% of the people in Coffee City, Texas, are on-duty police? Math is hard, but this Texas town has about 250 people living in it -- and it has 50 sworn police officers (50/250=0.20 or 20%).

Wait, is that Texas, China? No, it's Trump Country, the Lone Star State in the U.S. of A. And it's making so much money in traffic ticket revenue, that it may have to hire a few more men and women in blue. Aug. 31, 2023: KHOU 11's Jeremy Rogalski looks into the Coffee City police department.

Retired police sergeant goes to execute wife, decides to kill 'em all

Former active-duty cop goes on attempted mass murder spree, shooting 9 in bar, executing 3, shooting his wife through jaw
It's not illegal when we do it as a cop gang.
Cook's Corner used to be a little hideaway bar between Los Angeles and the OC, out in the pre-suburbs, more rural and ranch like than crowded with upper-middle class homes. A 30-year veteran of the police force, promoted to and retiring as sergeant, decides to intimidate and murder his wife with his legally possessed firearms. He brings a bunch to the bar so he can shoot her in the jaw. He shoots others and goes to get more guns and ammo to perhaps execute anything that moves. Killer cops arrive and execute one of their own. Maybe they didn't realize he was a cop on a killing spree from another precinct. In any case, they're lauded as heroes, good guys with guns. Should police be banned from owning weapons once they leave the force?

(KTLA 5) Cops detail how cop's mass shooting unfolded: Trabuco Canyon

(KTLA 5) A retired Ventura County police sergeant traveled from Ohio and targeted his estranged wife during his mass shooting spree at a popular Orange County bar that left three people dead Wednesday night, officials detailed. Chip Yost reports for the KTLA 5 News at 5 on Aug. 24, 2023.

Yoga Ayurveda: avoid these foods and drugs

There are sattvicrajasic, and tamasic foods, just as there are three body types (or doshas, of vata, pitta, and kapha or air, fire, and water). These are the basics of Ayurvedic eating for health and longevity.

Avoid harmful foods
(Sadhguru Ji Yogic Life) Premiered Aug. 7, 2023, In modern terms, there are positive-, negative-, and zero-pranic foods. Prana is our invisible lifeforce energy, the spiritus (holy spirit), breath, or unseen animating energy that makes life possible. We could think of it as chi.

Yogini Shlloka explains that in Yoga (with its traditional Eight Limbs or Ashtanga that form a complete ancient science) we do not look at foods in terms of proteins, vitamins, or minerals as is focused on in the West.

Ayurveda (the "Science of Life") categorizes food in three ways:
  1. positive pranic food
  2. negative pranic food
  3. zero pranic food.
Positive substances, when consumed, add prana to the human system. Prana, the vital energy in the body, will increase.

If we consume negative pranic substances, they take prana away from the system. They stimulate the nervous system but take away vital energy.

Zero pranic food neither adds nor takes away energy. It is only eaten for taste.

Negative pranic substances:
  1. Garlic is a powerful medicine if used properly. But if we put it into everyday food and eat it, it causes much damage.
  2. Onion is similar. The body does not prefer it. It shows this dislike by irritation the eye feels when we chop it.
  3. Asafoetida (a plant that acts as an onion substitute) is also a negative pranic item but is generally used in small quantities for taste.
  4. Eggplant (brinjal) is a vegetable that has some poison in it [as part of the deadly nightshade family, that also includes tomatoes, potatoes, tobacco, etc., similar to toxic cashews] There is a certain enzyme in eggplant that is capable of damaging the hypothalamus. Children should avoid this vegetable.
  5. Chili peppers can be experimented with. However, if we abstain from them for some time and then take them, the body will reject them with a strong reaction.
  6. Coffee
  7. Tea (Camellia sinensis which, like coffee, contains caffeine) are very powerful nervous system stimulants. Constant abuse of such common stimulants destroys stamina in the long run.
  8. Tobacco
These stimulants reduce our ability to store energy and our ability to do things. They make old age very difficult. Needless to say, all stimulant drugs and other nervous aggravators are negative pranic items.

Emotional stability very much depends on the foods we eat. If we refrain from foods with negative pranic substances, we find that it becomes easy to maintain our emotional balance. These seven items are negative pranic foods; the rest are positive.

Ayurveda, a natural system of health maintenance, originated in India more than 3,000 years ago. The Sanskrit term Ayurveda is derived from the words ayur ("life") and veda ("knowledge" or "science").

Ayurveda translates to "Knowledge of Life." Based on the idea that disease is due to an imbalance or stress and strain on a person's consciousness, Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain balance between body, mind, spirit (prana), and the environment.
