Jon Stewart mocks Trump, Colbert fired

What, Trump kicked my @$$?
Call it another win for Dictator Donald. He sued CBS and they settled instead of fighting it because they need some corporate favors. And just by coincidence, they fired his nemesis 15mil-a-year Colbert, who is his weakest critic among the Boys Club of late night comedians who all recycle the same jokes and, apparently, the same pool of writers. He used to be so funny on Strangers With Candy, The Daily Show, and The Colbert Report. This corporate gig was his worst work ever, so maybe he'll make a comeback to something risky and actually funny?

The Dalai Lama blesses holiest American boy
(PBS NewsHourCOLUMBIA HEIGHTS, Minnesota - Oct. 27, 2016: Like any 4th grade American boy, Jalue Dorje enjoys soccer, swimming, and Pokémon cards. But unlike most 9-year-olds, he is believed to be -- and confirmed by the Dalai Lama himself and other Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist spiritual leaders -- the willful "reincarnation" (tulku) of an eminent senior lama who died nine years ago. Special correspondent Fred de Sam Lazaro reports. PBS is an American public broadcast service.

American teenager prepares for life as a Tibetan Buddhist leader | TaiwanPlus News
(TaiwanPlus News) Nov. 21, 2024: Jalue Dorje, an 18-year-old Tibetan American, celebrated his coming-of-age in Minnesota in a suburb of Minneapolis called Columbia Heights, with an enthronement ceremony. At just four months old, Jalue Dorje was identified as a reincarnated lama, the rebirth of a venerated leader of a Tibetan Vajrayana (Esoteric) Buddhist sect. After he graduates high school next year, the teen who loves American football and [foulmouthed and filthy] rap music will head to a monastery (lamasery) in the Indian Buddhist Himalayas for the next stage of his spiritual journey.

Dear Mr. Trump 'n Pres. Elon (Bill Maher)

(PBS NewsHour) Protestors join more than 1,000 rallies across the US against Trump’s policies

I can't stand Musk almost as much as Trump
Los Angeles and Pasadena had massive turnouts for Hands Off! April 5th peaceful demonstrations and protests, with many clever signs and a great show of solidarity. That is only two of over 1,000 simultaneous actions across the country and other parts of the world. Trump is launching a trade war, and no one is happy about it.

Demonstrators have gathered in cities around the US in recent days and weeks to participate in "Tesla Takedown" protests of varying sizes.

Hands Off! our government and veterans' benefits, Trump and Musk

Meanwhile, some Tesla owners have said they have faced insults or vandalism amid the Musk criticism. Participants of the protests have called for a boycott of the EV giant in response to Musk's involvement with the Trump administration and DOGE's efforts to decrease the size of the federal workforce.

The "Tesla Takedown" effort started on BlueSky, a competitor to Musk's X platform, and now has a dedicated website. The site calls for Tesla owners to sell their vehicles and stock in an effort to "stop Musk now."

The website's organizer (teslatakedown.com), "Bill & Ted" actor and filmmaker Alex Winter, wrote in a Rolling Stone op-ed that demonstrations have happened at over 100 Tesla showrooms and other locations. Tesla owner and shareholder David Abrams told Business Insider he's heard about multiple protests but wasn't aware of the "takedown" effort specifically. More

The Life of the Buddha (animation)

He was a real historical person?
The life of the Buddha is not told to commemorate Prince Siddhartha Gautama and his adventures, much as it may sound that way. The historical accounts have become an allegory, a way of telling the story of Everyone in what Houston Smith could call "the heroine's journey," which also includes heroes.

Born to luxury, kept safe and pampered, spoiled and loved, the prince comes to realize that there has to be more to it all. What is the meaning of life? Why are we here? Where are we going? And most pressing, why do living beings suffer?

Sujata saved Siddhartha from overdoing fasting

On account of needing to answer this final question, he sets off on a journey, a quest in search of the Truth. How could he be a leader of people, the Indo-Scythians (Sakas, Shakyas), if he can offer them no escape from the inevitabilities of birth, aging, sickness, death, and rebirth?

This is samsara. And somewhere is liberation (nirvana, moksha). He must set off to find it and bring it back to his family. And that he does. Only in the process, the size of his "family" grows to include all humans and devas and a goodly number of other beings.

Why Trump rallied at MSG: Nazis often did

I've got dementia and I'm old (80). I don't care what I say or do, I just have to stay out of jail.

Pres. Don John Trump's German dad, Fred Trunf, participated in a Nazi rally and white supremacist racist parade on the streets of New York, possibly ending up at Madison Square Garden. In any case, we know this because Father Trump was arrested for his racist outpouring of hate, which he taught his son, almost as if Hitler had had a father.

A Night at the Garden | An American Nazi Rally in 1939 | POV
(PBS) In 1939, 20,000 Neo-Nazi Americans rallied in New York’s Madison Square Garden to celebrate the rise of Nazism – an event largely forgotten from American history.

A Night at the Garden uses striking archival fragments recorded that night to transport modern audiences into this gathering and shine a light on the disturbing fallibility of seemingly decent [white] people.

Trump campaign backpedals after racist, fascist Madison Square Garden rally: A Closer Look
(Late Night with Seth Meyers) Jewish Seth Meyers takes a closer look at Republicans and the Trump campaign distancing themselves from a racist comment at Trump's fascistic rally at Madison Square Garden that sparked ab immediate backlash.

Pres. Donald Trump's racist German family
In 1927, Don Trump's father Fred Trump was arrested at a Ku Klux Klan meeting and demonstration. There is no conclusive proof, other than he presence there and arrest, that he supported all of the organization's goals [b, c].

From WW II onwards, to avoid further associations with Nazism, Fred Trump denied his German ancestry (and Nazi sympathies), even supporting Jewish causes [d, e, f], at least the white Ashkenazi/European Jewish kind since many of those kinds of Jews were German.

Early life and career
Fred Trump (far left) with his German Trunf family, circa 1915
The Germanic American Friedrich Trunf Trump, amassed considerable wealth during the Klondike Gold Rush by running a brothel (house of prostitution) and eatery for miners trying to get rich quick.

Friedrich returned to Kallstadt in 1901 and, by the next year, met and married Lizzy Christ [17]. They moved to NYC, where their first child, Elizabeth, was born in 1904 [18]. Later that year, the family returned to Kallstadt [19]. Fred was conceived in Bavaria, where his parents wished to re-establish residency, but Friedrich was banished for dodging the draft [20, 19].

The family returned to New York on July 1, 1905, and moved to the Bronx, where [Donald Trump's father] Frederick Christ Trump was born on October 11 [21]. Fred's younger brother, John G. Trump, was born in 1907.

All three children were raised speaking German [22] with severe German discipline. In September 1908, the family moved to Woodhaven, Queens [23].

Many details of Trump's childhood come from autobiographical accounts and emphasize independence, learning, and especially hard work – to the point of being fictional [24][g].

At the age of 10, Trump worked as a delivery boy for a butcher [27]. About two years later, on Memorial Day, his German father died in the 1918 flu pandemic [28]. More

Mexico's female pres for Jewish New Year

Is it just a coincidence?
Happy Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah), which begins at sundown tonight!
  • The sun is eclipsing over Easter Island and the Americas (Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay),
  • Israel is at war in the Middle East,
  • the Neo-Nazis are being rounded up in Los Angeles, and
  • Mexico is installing its first Jewish president (not to mention its historic post-patriarchal first female head of state, as if the Catholic patriarchy were losing grip and influence in Mexico and around the Catholic world known loosely as the Holy Roman Imperial Christendom since most of the world's post-colonial Christians are of the Catholic variety).
It's Springtime of Netanyahu and a German comic should write a musical about it as the great American comedian did for Hitler because they are very different and it would generate good ticket sales.

Rosh Hashanah
JuBus prefer Zen and Tibetan Buddhism.
(Hebrew רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה, lit. "head of the year") is the New Year in Judaism. The biblical name for this holiday is Yom Teruah (יוֹם תְּרוּעָה‎, lit. "day of shouting and shofar blasting"). It is the first of the High Holy Days (יָמִים נוֹרָאִים‎, "Days of Awe/Fear"), as specified by Leviticus 23:23–25 [1] that occur in the late summer/early autumn in the Northern Hemisphere.

Let's strive for a rainbow body
Rosh Hashanah begins ten days of penitence, culminating in Yom Kippur, as well as beginning the cycle of autumnal religious festivals running through Sukkot, which end on Shemini Atzeret in Israel and Simchat Torah everywhere else.

Rosh Hashanah is a two-day observance and celebration that begins on the first day of Tishrei, which is the seventh month of the ecclesiastical year. In contrast to the ecclesiastical lunar new year on the first day of the first month Nisan, the spring Passover month which marks Israel's exodus from Egypt, Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the civil year, according to the teachings of Judaism, and is the traditional anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve, allegedly and allegorically the first man and [second] woman [after Lilith], according to the Hebrew Bible, as well as the initiation of humanity's role in Gods' [the words of "God" always being plural in the Bible] world. An American country gets a female president before the USA does?
I promise to be Mexican first, Jewish second, but
we'll see because Israel's calling and needs favor
We use "American" as if it means citizen of the United States, but there are at least four Americas (North, Meso, Central, and South), and all the people living on the continent are rightfully "Americans." In the Americas there is one special country, which although part of North America, gets no such credit. A special designation of "Mesoamerica" was given it, a middle land between central and north, one full of vast cultural treasures as the former site of various empires (Mexica, Aztec, Maya, Olmec, Toltec).

Of course, following Columbus and the Conquistadores, the whole place was overrun by Europeans who have mixed and blended in. Among them, from the beginning, were Crypto-Jews or Conversos from Spain and elsewhere, forced to renounce their Sephardic Jewish identity and become Catholic at least in name. It has been more than 500 years of European oppression, for Jews (who seem to have been thrown out of a whole list of at least 20 countries over the centuries, according to Eric Dubay and established historians) as well as the indigenous peoples of the Americas, the native population of many now independent countries up and down the Americas.

There was a Japanese leader before there was a Jewish president, but today at last not only a Jew but a woman has been raised to the ceremonial position of "president." Will Kamala Harris be next so the U.S. can stop being the laughingstock of regressive politics and policies like its death penalty, pollution rates, poverty, and hypocrisy? Not if patriarch Trump and handsome Vance and their Turn Back The Clock (MAGA) movement have anything to say about it.

LSD is mushroom, moldy bread brain (PBS)

Doctors and hippies were onto something.
Isn't it amazing what mushrooms can do? Sure, there are magic mushrooms, but Fly agaric (Amanita muscaria) is even more powerful in shamanic applications.

Then there are the Sixties, provided courtesy of LSD and cannabis. Who knew that the ergot on rye grain is a fungus? Fungi is mushroom, which is the fruiting body of the organism rooted in mycelia (the invisible matting underground that sends up mushrooms and makes the forest a natural "internet," playfully referred to as the Wood Wide Web.

Ergot fungus on rye and other grains such as barley is what was isolated to make LSD, lysergic acid diethylamide. The Spirit Molecule DMT plays into this, who knows, but it must because it is so widespread in nature and in the middle of our brains at the point called the third eye (pineal gland), which seems to be the transducer and modulator between worlds, the illusory one and the one behind it.

If we're in a matrix, how does anyone know except that they have had a taste of the real thing, the more real Dreamland or Spirit World from fevered dreams and spiritual visions? Who can say? But we are not seeing the world that is really here, only a tiny slice of the band of visible light and intriguing shadow.

How to avoid possession by Mara
When people take an entheogen, a psychedelic, their pupils dilate, that is, open up. It is as if they are now taking in more light and trying to capture it all with eyes wide open. It's a wider sliver of the band, into what we could call invisible light.

Why can we call it that? If ordinary consciousness and physical eyes see these wavelengths, this much of the range, what must dilated pupils and activated occipital lobes be able to take in? LSD is expanding the range, which is why Freak Street (Nepal) fashions and shamanic regalia are so colorful.

Shamanic healing with entheogenic plants
Is mold a mushroom? It is a fungus, and in common parlance we use "mushroom" to refer to all fungi. Lichen is a strange symbiotic combination of algae (chlorophyll) and (cyano-) bacteria and although assumed to be fungal growth on the sunny side of rocks is actually something else altogether. Yeast is a fungus, so it's not so strange that LSD (from grain used in the making of bread) would be, too.

What was first drink? Coffee, tea, wine?

Of course it has to be water, good old H2O, no, mother's milk, in a shot glass for comfort.
How old is the Mexican drink we call chocolate (xocolatl) cocoa from Theobroma cacao?

What was the first beverage?
Not gonna say water, right? Don't say water. Water is too obvious. Shoulda known it was water.
