Los Angeles and Pasadena had massive turnouts for Hands Off! April 5th peaceful demonstrations and protests, with many clever signs and a great show of solidarity. That is only two of over 1,000 simultaneous actions across the country and other parts of the world. Trump is launching a trade war, and no one is happy about it.
Demonstrators have gathered in cities around the US in recent days and weeks to participate in "Tesla Takedown" protests of varying sizes.
Hands Off! our government and veterans' benefits, Trump and Musk
Meanwhile, some Tesla owners have said they have faced insults or vandalism amid the Musk criticism. Participants of the protests have called for a boycott of the EV giant in response to Musk's involvement with the Trump administration and DOGE's efforts to decrease the size of the federal workforce.
The "Tesla Takedown" effort started on BlueSky, a competitor to Musk's X platform, and now has a dedicated website. The site calls for Tesla owners to sell their vehicles and stock in an effort to "stop Musk now."
The website's organizer (teslatakedown.com), "Bill & Ted" actor and filmmaker Alex Winter, wrote in a Rolling Stone op-ed that demonstrations have happened at over 100 Tesla showrooms and other locations. Tesla owner and shareholder David Abrams told Business Insider he's heard about multiple protests but wasn't aware of the "takedown" effort specifically. More

How to grow in wisdom? Live.
Will the world end? Of course, it always ends and is always ending in the same way that we are always dying, only we don't usually notice until some misstep, stumble, or fall. But since birth, we have been dying, even though at the beginning, in our youth, we were growing and getting better and better until we started fading, then cycling, then having good days and bad. Yet through all of that, we have been hurtling toward destruction because impermanence (flux, change, alteration, uncontrollability) is the nature of existence, which is also impersonal and incapable of satisfying/fulfilling us. But we pretend it's not. So it might be good to prepare, to pull our head out of the sand and move out of the way just a little. It could be worse and will be better if we only look ahead. Here, two different voices say something about that, one through an NDE and the other, he alleges, through the CIA.
When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times How can we live our lives when everything seems to fall apart — when we are continually overcome by fear, anxiety, and pain? The answer, American Buddhist nun Pema Chödrön suggests, might be just the opposite of what you expect. Here, in her most beloved and acclaimed book, she shows that moving toward painful situations and becoming intimate with them can open up our hearts in ways we never before imagined. Drawing from traditional Buddhist wisdom, she offers life-changing tools for transforming suffering and negative patterns into habitual ease and boundless joy. More

The world, as we know it, will end in exactly one year: Dec. 21, 2012. It is important to worry from now until then, because worrying might help. It might prevent it from happening.
Or, with enough fear behind the worry, it will get it to happen. And that'll teach those naysayers poo-pooing the Doomsday Parade by saying everything will be okay!
There is sure to be an apocalypse because apocalypse simply means an "unveiling." Now will we be undeceived!
The advent of a New Age (the dawning of the Age of Aquarius)?
De-population and FEMA camping trips for the masses?
Pick your poison, and start worrying. It does not matter what it will be, but it will be something. It has to be; the mainstream media (MSM) already said it would. And when the corporate "news" says it's going to be something, something is sure to happen.
It was already said on TV. The TV does not lie. Think back to the Swine Flu epidemic, the Fukushima radiation tsunami hitting the US, Anonymous and his devious Occupy Wall Street Movement... or many other panics.
As the propaganda arm of the military-industrial complex (MIC), these are carefully orchestrated disinformation campaigns aimed at distracting most people from most things going on.
"But who has time to pay attention?"
"We are all so stressed."
"There is nothing we can do."
These are the disempowering mantras beaten into us. Remember to repeat them. They keep us worried. And we must keep worrying day and night for the next 365. We can rest when the world comes to an end.
The Countdown is On! ABC News The countdown to the apocalypse is on. We’re one year away from Dec. 21, 2012.
This is the date theancient Mayan Long Count calendarallegedly marked as the end of an era [an astronomical "age"] that would reset the date to zero and signal the end of humanity [as we know it].
But will it?
There have been many end of times predictions over the years. Christian radio host Harold Camping faced widespread ridicule when his predictions that the world would end twice this year -- on May 21, and then on Oct. 21 -- failed to materialize.
But in the flurry of doomsday predictions -- there have been similar dire warnings about the world coming to an end from various cultures, including Native Americans, the Chinese, Egyptians and even the Irish -- the supposed Mayan prophecy seems to have held the most sway with believers.
The Mayan civilization, which reached its height from 300 A.D. to 900 A.D., had a talent for astronomy. Advanced mathematics and primitive astronomy flourished, creating what many have called the most accurate calendar in the world.
The Mayans predicted a final event that included a solar shift, a Venus transit and violent earthquakes. More
Coast to Coast, InfoWars.com, Josh Tolley, Wisdom Quarterly Even the "right" opposes a police state. It blames the "left" (Red vs Blue), loves capitalism, supports police and war, tends to be racist and Christian. But nobody wants to live under a totalitarian regime like we do thanks to the shadow government pushing for the NWO.
Preserving freedom -- right wing style. Alternative media activist Alex Jones appeared on Coast to Coast (11-9-11). Like Jesse Ventura he is consumed with exposing the forces really controlling world events and preserving personal freedoms.
Having grown up in Texas, he witnessed corruption (by police) at an early age. He became an avid history student. And while still in high school, he started recognizing anti-gun, anti-family, globalist indoctrination. His college in Austin was pro-World Government... "a eugenics, transhumanist... total scientific dictatorship domination program."
Alex Jones was saying the same things a year ago.
After observing tragic police state oppression in Waco and Oklahoma City, he took to the airwaves on Public Access TV, radio, then the Web. He believes Timothy McVeigh was a patsy similar to Oswald.
"I never intended to try to be in the media; I wanted to work outside," said Jones. But as he learned of "total political takeover" and "New World Order brainwashing," he felt he had to warn people.
Legal to carry, but me frisking you is legal if I say it is.
He claims that what drives him is his quest for liberty, freedom, and fair play. "My goal is for us to learn from history and have a freer, libertarian, constitutional society," he explains. We are at a huge crossroads right now, and rather than the "greedy and hateful Illuminati" controlling human destiny, "I want to empower the better aspects of humanity and really see how far we can go."
Guns, capitalism, and free trade for freedom?
Regarding the TSA's invasive pat downs and [cancer and blindness causing] X-ray machines, he believes they are part of a plan "to break our will, and to train us that we have absolutely zero rights, zero liberties, and that the government any time it wants can pull you over, or come into your house without a warrant."
Jones announced that in addition to his radio show, he is now hosting Info Wars Nightly News, a live video news program covering the day's headlines, with unscripted analysis.
(HowStuffWorks) Thousands of people across the globe believe the world will end in 2012 -- but why? The beliefs of 2012 fans, from interpretations of the ancient Mayan calendar to concerns over irregular sunspot cycles and solar storms, spell new hope for humanity or doom of biblical proportions.
(RTAmerica) Crowds gathered in New York's financial district to protest Wall Street greed, corruption, and lack of accountability. RT's Anastasia Churkina dove into the rally to find out whether this could be the beginning of America's own Arab Spring.
"Occupy Wall Street" protests make an impact RT calls it America's own "Arab Spring" -- when ordinary people rise up against unbearable oppression. The impact being made by "Occupy Wall Street" protesters is calling attention to un-prosecuted multinational banking crimes and high finance shenanigans.
The national debt, credit crisis, and high unemployment rates are all tied in to what goes on in the guarded halls and smoky rooms along Wall Street. More than any other institution -- military, social, or religious -- banking is the seat of power.
Motivated by greed, pulling political strings, calling the shots at the Pentagon, CIA, and the White House, it has been about the money since early temples began issuing notes for the treasures stored in their vaults.
How American Banking Works If citizens knew that this was how banking worked, they would occupy Wall Street. It's a good thing they're kept numb in the dark, amused to death.
If one wants profit, silver is a better bet. It's much more volatile. If one wants stability -- preventing erosion of purchasing power in the face of inflation -- gold is safest. But what gold? Coins, paper notes backed by gold, bullion, jewelry, Krugerrand... there is no standard. The scam behind gold is how it's sold. Not all forms are equally valuable. Levels of purity vary; reputations of minted coins by country vary; broker's fees eat into profit; the US government does not want citizens holding actual precious metals. Research before investing. The worst time to go into any investment is at its high. Buy low, sell high. Will gold go much higher before it crashes?
"Where do you think you're going, punk?" "Mmm, I'm trying to get to the bank, sir."
Gold hits new high Issac John (KhaleejTimes.com, July 18, 2011)
DUBAI — Gold prices rallied to a new all-time high above $1,600 per ounce on Monday morning, rising for the 11th consecutive trading session, the longest winning streak for the yellow metal since January of 1980.
Prices soared as high as $1,603.40 per ounce on Monday morning, driven by jitters over the eurozone debt crisis and the US debt ceiling, before backing off to trade just the $1,600 level.
A stalemate in the US debt ceiling talks and concerns of Eurozone debt contagion continued to underpin the metal’s investor appeal across the globe, precious metal analysts said in Dubai. With Monday’s advance, the gold price extended its monthly and year-to-date gains to 6.6 per cent and 12.5 per cent, respectively.
Yan Chen, head of metals and mining at Standard Chartered Equity Research, predicts that gold may rally to $5,000 by 2020 as incomes rise in China and India, the two biggest users.
Analysts said gold gained on the back of a surge in borrowing costs for Italy. The lack of a deal to raise the $14.3 trillion US debt ceiling also helped boost prices. “The long-term trend is certainly bullish and there isn’t anything in the horizon to suggest why $1,650 or $1,700 shouldn’t be reached earlier than expected.
