Mexico: Zapotec 'Cloud People' tomb found

  • IN THIS STORY: Mexican officials are calling the discovery of a Zapotec (Be’ena’a) tomb one of the country’s greatest archeological discoveries of the last decade.
  • The tomb, dated to 600 C.E., features colorful murals that experts hope they can soon decipher.
  • Other architectural highlights within the tomb include friezes and carvings in doorposts.

Officials are lauding a newly unearthed tomb, tucked into the Central Valley of Oaxaca [pronounced \wah-hah-kah\] in Mexico [Mesoamerica], as the greatest archeological find made in the country in the last decade.

Dated to 600 C.E.—a pre-Hispanic [Pre-Columbian era, pre-arrival of Spain and European Conquistadors] period during which the Zapotec culture ruled the region—experts believe the architectural and cultural meanings they can extract from the find will reveal unknown elements of Zapotec life 1,400 years ago.

Claudi Curiel de Icaza (INAH)
“This is an exceptional discovery due to its level of preservation and what it reveals about Zapotec culture: its social organization, its funerary rituals, and its worldview, preserved in the architecture, and mural paintings,” Mexico’s Secretary of Culture Claudi Curiel de Icaza said in a translated statement from the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).

The tomb features sculptural elements and mural paintings that contain symbols often associated with power and death, while friezes and tombstones bear inscriptions which appear to reference calendars.

Pres. Claudia Sheinbaum in front of MX flag
“This is the most important archeological discovery in Mexico in the last decade due to its level of preservation and the information it provides,” Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo said at a press conference, according to INAH.

The murals and architecture start at the entrance to the antechamber. An owl, which symbolized night and death for the Zapotec people, covers the painted face of a lord. Experts with INAH believe that the portrait may be of the ancestor to whom the tomb was dedicated. His descendants may have hoped that he would serve as an intercessor with deities. More
Who are the "Zapotecs," the "Cloud People," how did they build underground?
Zapotec civilization funerary art
The Zapotec civilization (the Be'ena'a or "The people who came from the clouds," circa 700 BC–1521 AD) is an advanced indigenous pre-European (pre-Columbian, pre-Hispanic, pre-invasion) civilization that flourished in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca in Mesoamerica (part of North America above Central America, mostly comprised of modern Mexico). Archaeological evidence shows that their culture, now replaced by Mixtec culture, originated at least 2,500 years ago. The Zapotec archaeological site at the ancient City of Monte Albรกn has pyramids, monumental buildings, ball courts, tombs, and grave goods, including finely worked gold jewelry. Monte Albรกn was one of the first major cities in Mesoamerica. It was the center of a Zapotec state that dominated much of the territory which today is known as the Mexican state of Oaxaca [1, 2]. The Zapotecs are their modern Mexican descendants. More

Tomb of Jesus Christ found in Jerusalem?

(ZMVT about history) What Jewish Talmud says about filthy (ritually impure Gentile) Christians

Middle Eastern/North African Rabbi Yeshua
(PM) A long-awaited excavation by Italian archeologists has finally taken place beneath the floors of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, Palestine.

The church is believed to have been built in part upon the site of Jesus’s tomb, which the Gospel of John describes as having been “a garden.”

Their dig uncovered evidence of 2,000-year-old olive trees and grapevines, suggesting the site had indeed once been used for agriculture [if not gardening].

The Unknown Life of Jesus
“At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid.”- John 19:41

As a literary device, this description of the burial place of Jesus Christ is effective; it offers a contrast between the site of Jesus’s death at the crucifixion site of Calvary (also called Golgotha, both derived from the Latin for “place of the skull”) and a fertile garden, brimming with life.

It also provides a cyclical shape to the final chapter of the Christ [the Anointed One's] narrative, which begins with his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. So, as storytelling, this single sentence from the Gospel of John (the most recently written of the four canonical gospels, most scholars agree) has a substantial power to its brevity.

Unknown years of Jesus (Nicolas Notovitch)
But as a historical record of where, exactly, one of the most famous men [or overhyped propaganda figures beginning with a historical figure then blown all out of proportion with myths, comforting fables, and voluminous imperial Roman psyops] who ever lived was laid to rest, one would be forgiven for finding it sorely lacking in detail.

Yet, thanks to a new discovery reported in the Times of Israel, that sentence might be key to confirming where the real [Jewish, Nazarene, or Essene] man at the center of the Christian faith was placed after his famous [imperial Roman torture practice of] crucifixion. More

Pyramids found in Poland...and Bosnia?

USA has pyramids, but no one seems to know it.
.
Polish archaeologists have found two megalithic tombs over 5,500 years old that teach us more about the burial practices and engineering abilities of one of Europe’s earliest agricultural societies.

The structures—sometimes called “Polish pyramids” or “giants’ graves” due to their triangular, monumental shape—were uncovered in the village of Wyskoฤ‡, in General Dezydery Chล‚apowski Landscape Park in the Wielkopolska province.
The discovery was made by archaeologists from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznaล„ during a field survey regularly conducted using remote sensing technology.

The tombs, whose existence was confirmed through excavations, were constructed by the Funnelbeaker Culture, a Neolithic society characterized by pottery and monumental burials.

The new findings are the second of their kind to be identified in the Wielkopolska region, the first being in 2019. More: archaeologymag.com

Arriving in California nearly penniless in the 1850s, Whitney would become the richest man in Placer County, owning over 27,000 acres. When Whitney passed away in 1913, he chose to be entombed in a pyramid, with the belief that it would bestow reincarnation on him. [He had no idea rebirth was inevitable in any case.]

What is Pyramid Meditation?

Meditation done inside a pyramid is thrice more powerful meditation done outside a pyramid, or underneath a pyramid. But any of these are called Pyramid Meditation. Many people experience feelings ranging from calm to extreme euphoria during their meditation sessions inside pyramids.

Could one sleep inside for better dreaming?
Pyramids provide the most effective high-energy environments for beginners. Pyramids help reduce the level of stress and tension in the physical body.

Most people who have experimented with Pyramid Meditation describe themselves as experiencing total bodily relaxation, followed by the shutting out of distracting external stimuli and irrelevant discursive thoughts. Finally, one achieves an altered state of consciousness that allows the practitioner to concentrate on deeper inner levels. More

Miracle: Holy Fire (Jesus' spirit) appears

Jesus' spirit (Holy Fire) appears in Jerusalem
(Blakwoodz) April 17, 2025:Today, let's look at ๐ŸŒŸ The Holy Fire ("Holy Light") in Jerusalem – an annual Easter miracle at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Palestine. ๐ŸŒŸ Hey, Doubting Thomas, you can't walk on water (if you disbelieve).

Welcome to full coverage of The Holy Fire 2025, the annual miracle that takes place on Holy Saturday at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

  • LA Marzulli talks about the "miracle" and how the local doubting Muslims, those who follow Islam, tried to debunk it and became converts.
This sacred event, known as the Holy Fire miracle, draws thousands of faithful from around the world each Easter to witness this awe-inspiring tradition. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Holy Fire is one of the most ancient and spiritual Easter traditions celebrated in Jerusalem. Every year, during Orthodox Easter and Holy Saturday, the miracle of the Holy Fire takes place in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, believed to be the site of the resurrection.

In this video, witness the moment the Holy Fire (alleged to be the "spirit of Jesus" except for Jews who call it the Holy Spirit in Judaism) appears like a dove (Holy Spirit, Holy Breath, Pneuma, Prana, Holy Ghost), the powerful reactions of the crowd of believers, and the deep meaning imputed on this sacred tradition.

Join us as we explore the historical significance, religious symbolism, and modern-day celebration of this unique Easter event. We will also discuss more about all the biblical prophecy and The Third Temple of Solomon being built by Israel.

๐Ÿ“ Location: Jerusalem, Israel (Occupied Palestine) ⛪ Site: Church of the Holy Sepulchre ๐Ÿ“† Event: Holy Fire 2025, Orthodox Easter, Holy Saturday.

Burning Bush that doesn't burn up
[Let's explore the history, the miracle, and the cultural impact of this Holy Light – a "fire" that does not burn (like that Burning Bush Egyptian Jewish Moses, if he ever existed, saw in that psychedelic/entheogenic vision that one time), that connects millions of believers during Orthodox Easter in the heart of the Holy Land taken over by Ashkenazi Jews for their war on Palestinians, God and Bible based genocide on human beings, and the start of a new US-sponsored empire in the Middle East ruled by secular Jews from Europe and their proxies.]

What are Buddhist relics, 'stupas'?

Buddhist Stupa: What we know about Buddhist burial mound reliquaries
(Bodhisattva) Everything anyone needs to know about stupas might be found here. Stupas are some of the oldest structures venerated in India [and Central Asia long before that]. Until a thousand years ago the entire region of the Indian subcontinent from Afghanistan (ancient Gandhara) to formerly Buddhist Bangladesh was dotted with thousands of stupas, large and small. Sacred relics (sarira) are placed inside of them.

Now only a few survive that are also in very bad condition. Why were these stupas made in the first place? What is the significance of stupas in Buddhism? What role did they play in the spread of Buddhism? Why is this stupa different from that one and that one and this one? How are they different from each other apart from basic structural differences? Why have abandoned stupas in India been continuously targeted by treasure hunters for centuries? What was placed in stupas that is of such interest to the treasure hunters?

NOTE: The Buddha did not "die," which means rebirth. He ended samsara.
