Aztec's Tenochtitlan (Mexico) turns 700

They Had Names
New mind-blowing discoveries about ancient America
: Where are the ancient ruins of North America? In Europe, they’re everywhere—henges, castles, cathedrals, medieval cities. But in the USA, the historical attractions are all post-European arrivals. This video shows Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson uncovering some surprising new discoveries about the ancient civilizations here in the United States just north of Mesoamerica. See They Had Names for details.

Discover the three pillars of Aztec genius in Tenochtitlán

Internal empires flourished before Spain entered
(LatinoAméricaAyer) Auto dubbed. How did the Aztecs (early Mexicans) build a metropolis for 200,000 people on a hostile lake in what is now Mexico City? The answer isn't luck or magic, but one of history's greatest engineering feats. In this documentary, we uncover the incredible hydraulic technology that enabled the construction of Tenochtitlán (the foundation of Mexico City) and changed the course of civilization in Mesoamerica, which is part of North America though no one likes to say so).

Matrilineal Native tribes?
Discover the three pillars of their genius:
  1. Chinampas: The artificial islands that created land out of thin air and fueled an empire.
  2. Aqueducts: The sophisticated double-pipe system that brought pure water to the city.
  3. Dikes: The colossal barriers that tamed flooding and controlled the lake's chemistry.
Genocide of Native Americans in North America continues

Get ready to change your perspective on the ingenuity of the Aztec Empire built not on luck but engineering [likely enabled by extraterrestrial and interdimensional advanced technology]. Fascinated by history and ancient engineering? Remember to leave a like, share this video with someone who needs to see it, and subscribe to catch upcoming documentaries.

New genetic research reveals SHOCKING truth about the Aztecs
(Answers in Genesis) Aug. 1, 2025: This is the long-lost history of the Aztecs (the Mexica tribe). Join Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson as he reveals new genetic discoveries about this early American society that will blow the mind. Dr. Jeanson’s book, They Had Names, is now available: AnswersBookstore.com

Pyramids found in Poland...and Bosnia?

USA has pyramids, but no one seems to know it.
.
Polish archaeologists have found two megalithic tombs over 5,500 years old that teach us more about the burial practices and engineering abilities of one of Europe’s earliest agricultural societies.

The structures—sometimes called “Polish pyramids” or “giants’ graves” due to their triangular, monumental shape—were uncovered in the village of Wyskoć, in General Dezydery Chłapowski Landscape Park in the Wielkopolska province.
The discovery was made by archaeologists from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań during a field survey regularly conducted using remote sensing technology.

The tombs, whose existence was confirmed through excavations, were constructed by the Funnelbeaker Culture, a Neolithic society characterized by pottery and monumental burials.

The new findings are the second of their kind to be identified in the Wielkopolska region, the first being in 2019. More: archaeologymag.com

Ancient ruins of North America (USA)

These new discoveries about ancient America will BLOW minds
Pyramids, giant burial mounds, topped off by European invaders who could not face the truth?

Mississippian cultures of Cahokia, Missouri
(Answers in Genesis) May 9, 2025: Where are the ancient ruins of North America (USA)? In Europe, they’re everywhere — castles, cathedrals, medieval cities. But in the USA, the historical attractions are all post-European arrivals. (They are all over Mexico, so let's call that part of pre-Hispanic North America "Mesoamerica" to make it seem far away and foreign).

In this video, Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson uncovers some surprising new discoveries about the ancient civilizations here in what is now the USA. Dr. Jeanson’s book, They Had Names, is available at GetAnswers.org/new-discoveries-ancient-america
  • Today, Cahokia (earthworks, pyramids, mounds), Illinois, is considered the largest and most complex archeological site north of the great pre-Columbus cities in neighboring Mexico, just across the Gulf of America Mexico in places like the Yucatan Peninsula.
They Had Names: Tracing the History of the North American Indigenous People
They Had Names (Dr. Jeanson)
Long before the Occupiers "Pilgrims" stormed landed at Cape Cod, what was happening in North America? Who was here? What civilizations rose and fell?

For years, the answers to these questions have been shrouded in mystery. At the time of European contact, a diverse world of Native America (indigenous, First Nations, "Indian") peoples thrived across this continent.

Who took the peaks off these pyramids?
What was their backstory? Who were the ancestors of the Sioux? Where did the Navajo come from? What about the Apache, the Comanche, the Cherokee?

They Had Names is the result of a multi-year deep dive into genetics, indigenous histories, archeology, and linguistics — an ambitious quest to uncover answers to these questions. More

America's 1st pyramid megacity: Cahokia

Chromesun, Mississippian priest (digital painting)

What happened to America’s first megacity?
(PBS Terra) Nov. 21, 2024: Overview. In its prime, Cahokia was a prosperous mega-city with a population similar to London’s.

But this sprawling Native American metropolis from the Mississippian culture vanished long before European settler-colonial invaders arrived in North America. What happened?

This Indigenous city’s enigmatic rise and fall has inspired countless theories and has long captivated the imaginations of archeologists.
  • [The pyramids in the U.S. were beheaded (the peaks destroyed) by arriving Catholic priests and soldiers who did not want to face up to what amazing advanced technology the Indigenous non-humans had developed with their amazing architecture and alignments, so they were tortured, killed en masse in a slow genocide that continues to this day along with cultural erasure.]
Now, cutting-edge scientific research offers a glimmer of hope in unraveling the mystery of Cahokia's disappearance.

Hosted by Joe Hanson from Be Smart, Overview uses stunning 4K drone footage to reveal the natural and human-made marvels shaping our planet -- literally from a 10,000-foot view.

50,000-year-old American pyramids: Cuba

Just as ancient Egyptians built massive pyramids along the Nile, ancient Americans built Cahokia
Latin American wonders hidden in the jungle
Look at a map of the USA. The Gulf of Mexico is shown differently in each. Cuba is massive, as big as Florida, but is often minimized. All maps are politicized, which is odd since we now have low-flying satellites 20 miles up that can photograph and give us a real picture. But all "space photos" are manipulated CGI (computer generated images). They are warped, shrunken, expanded, enhanced, etcetera. There are 50,000-year-old pyramids underwater between the continental U.S. and the island nation. The mainland has Cahokia with its pyramid "mounds" in St. Louis, Missouri. A hop over the Gulf, Mexico has extraordinary pyramids in the Yucatan Peninsula and Veracruz.
Mexico, though called Mesoamerica, is in North America and is full of ancient pyramids

Ancient pyramid mound builders in USA

Independent researcher Fritz Zimmerman (moundbuilder.blogspot.com) has spent 12 years in the field investigating 700 mound and earthwork sites in the Ohio Valley, USA.

He appeared on Coast to Coast on Oct. 7, 2024, to discuss his findings with dullard host G. Noory. Zimmerman shares his research into burial mounds (akin to Buddhist stupas) and archeological sites, which he says are home to Shadow People, cryptids, ancient dwarf races (wee people), giants, UFOs, and more.

Elaborating on the mounds' historical context, Zimmerman reveals that they date back as early as 800 BC, making them some of the oldest in the nation.
According to Zimmerman, some of the mounds and earthworks are associated with ancient giants, the people known as the Amorites who controlled Babylon from 2000 BC to 1600 BC.

"One of their calling cards," he says, "was advanced mathematics...they knew pi and the square roots of numbers" and discovered the Pythagorean theorem of triangles 1,000 years before ancient Greek Pythagoras.
  • What about the massive prehistoric American city of Cahokia? The Cahokia Mounds is the site of a pre-Columbian Native American city that existed circa 1050–1350 CE [3] directly across the Mississippi River from present-day St. Louis. The state archaeology park lies in southwestern Illinois between East St. Louis and Collinsville [4]. The park covers 2,200 acres (890 ha), or about 3.5 square miles (9 km2), and contains about 80 human made mounds, but the ancient City of Cahokia was much larger. At its apex around 1100 CE, the city covered about 6 square miles (16 km2), included about 120 earthworks in a wide range of sizes, shapes, and functions, and had a population of between 15,000 and 20,000 people. More
Zimmerman suggests that the Amorites were called the Nephilim in the Bible and that they initially came to America to mine copper. He theorizes that these giants eventually intermingled with Native human tribes like the Dakota Sioux, leading to their eventual disappearance.

At the top of Fort Hill in southern Ohio, at a four-foot stone wall "that undulates like a great serpent," Zimmerman once saw a large black mass that was humanoid in shape, which initially seemed about 8 feet tall but then grew in height as it moved toward the trees.

Other witnesses at the site also reported seeing the shadow figure, he reports. One reason such entities would be at the site is that "the mounds were a portal that connected the living with the dead," he notes.

A man who lives near a burial mound told Zimmerman that his car was surrounded by strange cryptids that looked like giant hamsters -- about 30 of them that seemed menacing.

The infamous cryptid creature known as Mothman that multiple witnesses saw in West Virginia in the 1960s may actually be the ancient winged Babylonian demon called Pazuzu, Zimmerman adds. AUDIO: coasttocoastam.com/show/2024-10-07-show

Biggest pyramid: Bosnia, Indonesia, Mexico?

We all "know" the world's largest pyramid is in Cairo, Egypt, at Giza. But that's wrong, and no one says that but popular. The world's largest officially recognized pyramid (not tallest but largest) is a massive structure that size of a small mountain in Cholula, Mexico, at the ruins of a Mesoamerican archeological site the Spanish Catholics tried to bury it, literally. It is so massive that to hide it, they threw mud and dirt all over it and built a Catholic church on top. Oddly, the same thing was done by Muslims as Islam conquered Java, Indonesia, and could not believe the advanced architecture of a massive Buddhist pyramid now called the Borobudur Buddhist temple. It is the size of a hill. Unable to replicate it, move it, or destroy it even though it used no mortar but was fitted together with precisely cut stone blocks, Islamic conquerors simply buried it in mud and soil. It remained lost until centuries later a British surveyor inspected the site and realized that that hill should not be there. He climbed it, dug a bit, and found the magnificent structure. It was excavated and stands as the largest Buddhist temple in the world. (It pales in comparison to the square mile of the unexcavated Mes Aynak Buddhist temple complex in ancient Gandhara, modern Afghanistan, that is a gold and copper mine full of rare earth minerals and leased by the Chinese who would have razed it for its mineral treasures had it not been that metal prices tanked on the world market before it could begin its destruction. The USA left Afghanistan so devastated that it is understandable that Muslim Afghanistan, the poorest country in the world at the time, accepted much-needed foreign currency and capital infrastructure investments. The Chinese built a town and a railroad at Mes Aynak for the resource extraction, and now they are only waiting for the world to need more cell phones and electronics to drive the price up. Apparently, Russia or some industrial concern discovered pellets of rare earth minerals littering the nearby seafloor. But Indonesia boasts a much larger and older pyramid, one the size of a mountain. It is disputed, in spite of the cut stones littering the area, with geologists and archeologists speculating that it has to be a natural formation because, who could have built such an ancient and massive structure. But there it is.

It may be comparable in size and age to the discovery in Bosnia with its Pyramid of the Sun and Moon and other, like Mexico's undisputed grand boulevard of pyramidal temples in Mesoamerica.

Massive block: natural, manmade, ETs?

I found colossal, impossible geometry with Desert Drifter
(thePOVchannel) Sept. 19, 2024: An incredible coincidence resulted in Desert Drifter and I standing atop a mysterious and gargantuan block (stone cut cube) in the middle of a forest. This cube has many secrets, but one stands out above everything else. The history of this block is truly puzzling. Had I not seen it with my own two eyes, I would not believe it to be real.

Cahokia, USA: American pyramids (video)

Illinois Adventure #1308 "Cahokia Mounds"
(WTVP) #1308 March 8, 2014. The remains of the most sophisticated prehistoric Native American civilization north of Mexico are preserved at Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site.

Within the 2,200-acre tract, located a few miles west of Collinsville, Illinois, lie the archeological remnants of the central section of the ancient settlement that is today known as Cahokia.

Cahokia Mounds has been recognized as a U.S. National Historic Landmark, and the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in 1982, designated Cahokia Mounds a World Heritage Site for its importance to our understanding of the prehistory of North America.

Mysterious ruins that defy history (video)

Origins Explained, Oct. 11, 2018; Pat Macpherson, Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Top 9 most mysterious ruins that defy history
This Top 10 list of strange ancient artifacts of unexplained ruins are some of the most bizarre and mysterious discoveries ever made.

9. Çatalhöyük, Turkey
Built in what was once Mesopotamia, the city of Çatalhöyük, which now resides in Turkey, is easily one of the biggest mysteries of the ancient world, really ancient, it reached its heyday around 7000 BCE! This place makes ancient Rome look modern. These tightly clustered mud brick houses kind of look like honeycombs.

8. Palenque, Mexico
Mexico is a land of many mysteries and lost people and cities. But easily the biggest civilization, with the biggest mystery surrounding them, are the Mayans. This tribe came from an unknown area, arrived in Mexico, and set up an empire that lasted over 3,000 years. Then they were gone. To this day, many still study the Mayans in order to find out more about them, and especially what happened to them.

7. Cahokia, United States
This one might come as a surprise. In the United States, there is an old city that used to be the biggest city in North America at one point in time. This was the city of Cahokia, a pre-Columbian Native American city. It was founded around the year 600 and lasted until the 14th century. You can still go there today. It's across from St. Louis on the other side of the Mississippi river.

6. Derinkuyu, Turkey
Turkey is home to another ancient, fascinating, and mysterious place: Derinkuyu. The concept of making underground cities may seem like something from fantasy television shows, or Fraggle Rock, but many cultures have made very grand underground cities.

5. Yonaguni Monument, Japan
Off of the coast of Japan, there is a place called Yonaguni Island, which was famous for hammerhead sharks. Now, people are more intrigued by some unnerving formations in the water that were found by a diver in 1987. The Yonaguni Monument is a series of rock formations that has the scientific world split as to whether this is a natural design or something made by humans. And it's a debate that continues on to this day.

4. Machu Picchu, Peru
Machu Picchu is arguably one of the most interesting and revealing places in the world. Why? Because it's through this city that we got to take a look inside the Incan Empire. This civilization ruled a lot of South America for quite some time, and their territory included Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, and more. And yet, for a while, we didn't know that much about them, until we found Machu Picchu.

3. Thonis, Egypt
If you're big into history, then you knew that it was only a matter of time before Egypt showed up on this list. And as you know, it is home to many ruins and mysteries and the main topic of several videos.

2. Great Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe
Sticking with Africa, let's head to Zimbabwe, which holds one of the biggest mysteries of the continent. It's called Great Zimbabwe. Yeah, doesn't really sound mysterious. But don't let that fool you. There's more to this than you might think.

1. Pompeii, Italy
There are many scary stories in history, but the story of Pompeii is one that we just can’t get over. This is the city that was built in the fertile valley near a volcano, Mt. Vesuvius. When it erupted, it caught people by surprise and buried the city in soot and ash and left it covered and perfectly preserved for hundreds of years. Now much of it has been uncovered, and it is a sad historical marvel, and many people were frozen in time forever.

Native American structures, GIANTS (video)

Jim Vieira, Megalisthomania (Facebook) via ZEG TV Hidden from the Public, 2018; Xochitl, Pat Macpherson, Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
Giants are real. They are documented in Buddhist texts as asuras, rakshasas, yakshas.

Real Giants Exist...These Discoveries Prove It

Giants on Record (Jim Vieira)
Hidden in local U.S. archives and dusty Smithsonian reports are accounts now nearly forgotten by North American historians and scientists.

Jim Vieira and Hugh Newman wrote Giants on Record: America's Hidden History, Secrets in the Mounds and the Smithsonian Files. These accounts document giant skeletons (7 to 9 feet tall) discovered all over the USA, many buried under earthen mounds.

Some photographs still exist but, curiously, the skeletons do not; they have been covered up and hidden away in Smithsonian repositories "being worked on by top men" not on public view:

Over 1,000 accounts of 7-foot and taller skeletons have been unearthed from ancient Native American burial sites over a 200-year period in North America.
  • WARNING: Reports of giant skeletons to officials with be met with SEIZURE and THREATS to you and your family. DOCUMENT IT, and keep quiet about the location.

Spanish covered the world's largest pyramid in Native American Mexico at Cholula.
Lost Race (Pat Chouinard)
Scientific journals, photos, newspaper accounts, town and county histories, letters, diaries, and Smithsonian ethnology reports have carefully documented this.

These giant skeletons have been reported from one coast to the other, many east of the Mississippi, in old newspaper reports and in modern police and university files, which are quickly covered up as the Smithsonian carts away the physical evidence.

Giant taken by US forces in Afghanistan
They have strange anatomical features that are now called anomalies such as enormous skulls, double rows of teeth, jawbones so large as to be fit over the face of the finder like a helmet, and elongated heads. They have been documented in virtually every state.
